Guyver Armor: KAP-2

Mizuki Segawa's tearful cries drifted on the wind.

KEP-1 struggled to prop up its wrecked body from the rubble with its left arm; the outer armor of its suit was covered with craters and traces of high-temperature explosions.

He stared at his companion on the rooftop, who was tightly entangled by Panadan's long tail. His red eye sensors flashed intensely, growing increasingly glaring with his fluctuating emotions: "Stop!"

Just as Fukamachi Akira was sinking into deep despair, a black figure darted out from the shadows behind the rooftop like a ghost, moving at a speed that was beyond the limits of vision, and in an instant landed behind Panadan.

That was the black bio-armor of Makijima Jacques – KAP-3.

Its shape is completely different from the streamlined design of the KAP-1 worn by Fukamachi Akira:

The head armor is sharply angled, and two rows of sharp short spikes are arranged on both sides of the top of the head. The high-frequency swords at the elbows have a unique configuration with one long and one short blade on the outside of each elbow.

The black Cap's eye sensors emitted a cold, blue-white halo, exuding undisguised killing intent.

Before Panadan could react, two high-frequency swords, one long and one short, shot out from his left arm. The cold blue light, like two deadly fangs, pierced Panadan's chest from behind without any hindrance.

Panadan's smug expression remained frozen on his face. He looked down in disbelief at the azure sword tip protruding from his chest, his eyes filled with horror.

Clearly, the Jaw Man of the Maki Island had no intention of leaving it any chance of survival. Seeing that this super-beast soldier was still struggling with its tenacious vitality and physique, the black Kep suddenly gripped its open upper jaw with its right hand.

As he exerted his strength, a loud "crack" was heard as bones shattered, accompanied by the sound of flesh tearing.

Panadan's upper half of his head was torn off upwards!

Large amounts of blood mixed with brain tissue fluid gushed out like a fountain, splashing onto the surrounding ground and onto the black-clad Kep's body.

The ferocity in Panadan's eyes was quickly replaced by deathly silence. The two long tails that had been binding the Segawa siblings drooped limply, and his massive body fell heavily to the ground with a dull thud.

"Panadan! Damn it... this black form... is it another Kep?!"

Jerbops clutched his mangled body, shattered by the heavy cannon fire, his pupils constricted in horror.

"A second Kapp has appeared! And, Kapp also possesses the power of gravity..."

In the command center of Max Pharmaceuticals, Commander Richard Geo instantly sensed this scene through telepathic waves, and a cold command was instantly transmitted to Jelbup's mind:

"Come back, Jerpubs, we can't afford to lose you yet. Take the remains of KEP-1! Retreat immediately!"

Severely wounded, Jelbup, under the cover of the other Zoan soldiers, endured the excruciating pain and trembled as he picked up the half of Kep's hand, which was still emitting smoke and a pungent odor, and retreated from the campus in a disheveled state, leaving behind a messy battlefield.

After the war, the black-clad Captain jumped off the rooftop without revealing his identity to the three men.

He simply tossed a slip of paper with the address of the safe house to Fukamachi Akira, and a emotionless voice came from behind the metal mask: "It's safe there for now."

He then turned around without hesitation, his black figure blending seamlessly into the shadows of the street corner and disappearing without a trace.

"A third Kep? What's the connection between him and the mysterious man who saved us before?"

Akira Fukamachi, Tetsuro Segawa, and Mizuki stared in the direction he had left, their faces filled with surprise and uncertainty, recalling the ferocious strength he had displayed just moments before.

The crisis has been temporarily averted, but the resulting campus chaos has not yet subsided.

Thanks to the powerful regenerative abilities granted to the host by the bio-armor, the broken arm of the crystal grew and healed at a speed visible to the naked eye.

In less than 10 minutes, the delicate new skin completely covered the wound, and there was no trace of injury left.

Once her arm had returned to normal, Akira Fukamachi didn't dare to delay for a moment. She immediately escorted the Segawa siblings and set off, following the clues given by the black Cape, and eventually arrived at a secluded safe house.

This safe house, specially prepared by Makijima, is hidden in the basement of an abandoned warehouse in the old town, far from the high school.

In the small but tidy space, there was a generous supply of drinking water and compressed biscuits. Because it had been uninhabited for a long time, the air was filled with the damp, earthy smell.

Fortunately, this was in the early 1990s, and Japanese city streets were not yet covered with a dense network of surveillance cameras as they would be in later years.

Even if Kronos wanted to conduct a large-scale search, it would have to rely on manpower, which would greatly reduce its efficiency.

Thanks to the "convenience" of this era, they temporarily escaped the pursuit and Kronos's gaze, finally able to catch their breath here.

Faced with this bloody reality, a resolute look flashed across his face, and he said in a deep voice to the Segawa siblings:

"We can't hesitate any longer. We must bring our families here and hide together for the time being."

"You've all seen Kronos's madness, dragging so many unrelated people from the school into this... Only in this way can we ensure the safety of our families."

Meanwhile, in the underground laboratory of Max Pharmaceuticals, Richard Geor, dressed in a pure white suit, stood tall and straight in front of a huge glass petri dish.

His short, golden hair was neatly combed, and his emerald eyes looked with satisfaction at the spoils floating in the petri dish—half a hand of the Kep suit brought back by the beastmen.

Geo stretched out his long, slender fingers and lightly brushed across the cold surface of the vessel, a cruel smile suddenly curling at the corner of his mouth:

"Padanna died a worthy death. Now, Genzo Makijima, it's your time to sacrifice yourself for the organization!"

He raised his hand and pressed the red communication button on the control panel: "Immediately concentrate all research resources of the Japanese branch to conduct a comprehensive study on the biological cells of this captured Kemp suit. I need to know every secret of the source of Kemp's power, from cellular structure to energy circulation, dig it all out for me!"

"Yes, Commander Geo!" came a respectful yet fearful reply from the other end of the communicator.
