Guyver Armor: KAP-2

"Ugh—" Upton, who was closest, let out a terrible scream and retreated backward with all his might.

However, the muscles and skin on the surface of his body were instantly melted and peeled off by the scorching flames, and green bodily fluids splattered on the ground with a sizzling sound.

"You've saved your life! It must have been Elegant's super-high-temperature resistant system that saved you!"

Razorb grew increasingly enraged, his thick neck bulging as he opened his massive jaws: "Roar! Then try to withstand the flames of hell!"

"Oh no!"

A more intense burst of flame erupted, engulfing Upton, who was staggering backward after being severely injured.

In an instant, his figure was completely engulfed by the fire dragon that was accompanied by scorching winds.

The piercing screams gradually weakened and distorted in the 3900-degree Celsius flames, and finally dissipated completely.

But in his self-satisfaction, he didn't notice that several pieces of Insem's remains were still scattered at his feet.

Unbeknownst to him, several slender fleshy tendrils had already emerged from the gaps in the metal beneath his feet, silently piercing the gaps in his thick hoof.

A piercing pain shot from the soles of his feet up his spine, and he suddenly froze.

"Hahaha, what a stupid beast! You think your clumsy acting can fool your Grandpa Upton?"

Upton's voice echoed ominously in the corridor, carrying an undisguised sarcasm:

"I secretly differentiated half of my original body into cells a long time ago and hid them in these fragments of Insem's corpse. I was waiting for this moment when you let your guard down!"

What you just gleefully destroyed was nothing more than a small, discarded shell of a body!

"Damn Upton! Boss Jetton... Waaah—" Razorb's resistance grew weaker and weaker until it was finally swallowed up by the erosion of cells.

Just then, the KEP-1, which had absorbed the entire body of the bio-engineered organism's cells, shuddered violently, and the optical eyes of its turquoise armor suddenly lit up with a lustrous blue light.

As the damaged head armor and flesh were completely repaired by the germ cells, Akira Fukamachi's consciousness finally awoke from its chaotic slumber.

"Kano-sensei, what happened...? I remember we were fighting the beast soldiers, and then..."

Just as he was about to try and recall his memories, a sharp, tearing pain suddenly shot through his mind, causing him to groan involuntarily, "Ugh!!"

"Jing, don't overthink it!"

Seeing this, Tsubasa Kamino instantly channeled a steady wave of mental energy into Akira Fukamachi's chaotic mind, leaping forward to block him:

"The enemy is still in front of us. I'll cover you. Quickly gather your energy and prepare the chest particle cannon!"

"Protective shield!"

KAP2 slammed their fists together, and a light blue hemispherical energy shield suddenly unfolded, protecting the two of them completely.

The laser beams fired by Jekutor slammed into the light shield, creating ripples of energy that were completely unable to penetrate it.

Before she could think it through, Akira Fukamachi instinctively trusted Tsubasa Kamino and quickly inserted her hands into the gaps in her breastplate, forcefully lifting the thick armor plates to reveal the two crystalline crystalline emitters in the center.

A dazzling white light surged wildly within the launcher, and the chest particle cannon instantly began charging.

"This is bad!"

As Jekutor looked at the scene before him, his peripheral vision caught Gasda, whose half-body was a bloody mess and who was barely able to stand. He also caught a glimpse of Lazelb, who was completely entangled by Upton and whose body was visibly deforming. Jekutor's heart sank as if he had fallen into an ice cave, and he realized that all was lost.

"Gasta, get out of here—damn it, it's too late!"

Seeing the light from the lens emitter of the KEP-1 growing increasingly intense, indicating that it was about to complete its charge, a resolute glint flashed in Jekutor's eyes. He suddenly straightened up, his previously hunched body instantly tensing.

The next second, the thick black carapace on his back suddenly opened to the sides with a "boom," and a pair of giant membranous wings covered with fine silver-gray scales suddenly stretched out, with faint golden light flowing in the veins of the wings.

The membranous wings flapped violently, creating a powerful airflow that swept around the area. Strangely, as the wings flapped, the surrounding temperature began to drop rapidly.

The lingering warmth and energy glow of the flames in the corridor were all drawn in by an invisible suction force and sucked into the pair of membranous wings!

"Damn it, this godforsaken place has no sunlight, so we can't unleash the full power of Golden Storm Song... but there's no other way!"

Jekutor gritted his teeth and growled, his membranous wings flapping faster and faster, and a thin layer of white frost even formed on the surrounding ground and walls.

Immediately afterwards, Jekutor's bright yellow carapace opened in three petals like flower petals, revealing a giant, golden-yellow heat-emitting organ the size of a basketball in the center.

All the light and heat energy absorbed by the membrane wings surged into it like a tide, causing the emission organ to instantly emit an extremely dazzling golden light.

In those few seconds, the KAP-1 finally completed its charge.

"Chest Particle Cannon!"

With a low shout, Fukamachi Akira unleashed the full power of the lens emitter, unleashing a blue-white ultra-high-speed particle beam that shot out with the force to crush everything, heading straight for Jektor and Gasta!

"Roar—Golden Storm Song!"

Jekutor let out a roar that shook the corridor, and the golden heat ray organ on its abdomen, which was filled with the light and heat gathered by the membranous wings, finally spewed out a giant golden beam of light as bright as the blazing sun.

Boom—!!

Two enormous beams of light collided violently in the middle of the corridor!

Blue-white and golden light squeezed and collided wildly, with chaotic energy flows constantly overflowing from the edges, melting the surrounding metal walls into flowing molten iron. The ground was crushed and collapsed layer by layer, and the fragments were evaporated into ash as soon as they flew up.

"Ugh... Ugh—! Damn it, if only there were sunlight here..."
