Guyver Armor: KAP-2

Chapter 83 Connection: The Relic About to Be Activated

Time passed by, second by second.

The faint light on the surface of the relic spaceship grew increasingly intense, and the pulsation frequency of its biomass shell gradually increased, like an ancient behemoth poised to take flight.

Ijuin stared intently at the control panel screen, then suddenly shouted:

"Director! Monitoring data shows that the legacy spacecraft's energy reserves have reached the predetermined target! All biological parameters are currently stable within a safe range!"

"So, the spaceship has met the standards for takeoff?!"

Director Xiaotian immediately stepped forward to confirm the data, and the green indicators flashing on the screen ignited a light in his eyes.

He couldn't help but look up at the dark passage above with a hint of anxiety, but there was still no news of Tsubasa Kamino or Upton.

In that tense moment, two soft sounds suddenly came from the ventilation duct above, and two dark shadows burst out of the duct and fell straight to the ground, stirring up some dust.

Everyone stared intently, and there stood before them the dark blue Captain 2 and Upton, covered in black armor.

At this crucial moment, the two finally reached the bottom floor!

"Kano, you're finally back!" Murakami Masaki's heart, which had been hanging in suspense, instantly settled down, and his eyes were filled with joy.

He then turned to look at the aloof Upton beside him and nodded slightly in greeting: "This must be Mr. Upton that Jing mentioned."

"That's right, everyone, we're back." Tsubasa Kamino strode forward, his dark blue bio-armor still stained with blood.

His gaze swept quickly across the crowd, and he spoke rapidly, with an undeniable urgency:

"There's no time to explain. Several Beast Gods may arrive here at any moment."

"Everyone, hurry up and get on the spaceship! I need to initiate the launch sequence for the Relic Spaceship immediately!"

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately straightened up and, without further hesitation, filed into the biological hatch of the relic spaceship in an orderly fashion.

Upton looked up and examined the enormous biological spaceship before him, a clear look of shock flashing in his yellow compound eyes.

"We're actually going to have to go inside this ruined spaceship!!"

He subconsciously took two steps around the edge of the spaceship, reached out and touched the warm, dark brown outer shell, and couldn't help but let out a soft gasp:

"I, Upton, have wasted so many years of my life in this historical site."

I never knew this huge thing could be controlled by someone, and you even said it could actually fly?

He turned to look at Tsubasa Kamino, his tone now carrying a hint of approval: "Tsubasa Kamino, you're quite the hidden talent..."

I'm starting to believe that you guys might one day be able to go toe-to-toe with the Kronos Organization.

"Heh, it's too early to be surprised. I know more than that; I'll tell you about it another time."

Tsubasa Kamino strode towards the ship's main control area, waving to Upton behind him:

"I need to go to the control room now to officially launch the spacecraft into space. I must concentrate all my attention."

Upton, you go with them to the inner living quarters to rest. If anything unexpected happens, protect everyone for me.

As soon as he finished speaking, Tsubasa Kamino's mental waves were already connected remotely to the biological brain of the relic spaceship.

The faint light on the surface of the spaceship flickered slightly, and the originally seamless inner wall structure slowly opened up, with soft biological tissue stretching to both sides, making way for a secluded path.

In less than a minute, Tsubasa Kanno's figure passed through the layers of barriers unimpeded and re-entered the core control room of the Relic Spaceship.

The control room remained spacious and solemn, with a huge metal sphere, as tall as a person, embedded at each of its upper and lower ends.

Upon sensing Tsubasa Kamino's arrival, the two metal spheres suddenly burst forth with a dazzling silver-white light, illuminating the entire control room.

Without further hesitation, Tsubasa Kamino strode to the center of the control room and stood there.

The next second, a gentle yet irresistible force of life suddenly arose, lifting him up steadily.

The dark blue body of the KAP-2 slowly rose from the ground and hovered in the center of the control room, precisely aligned with the two metal spheres above and below, forming a straight vertical line.

Immediately afterwards, the metal spheres on both bases simultaneously emitted dazzling silver-white beams of light. The two beams of light converged in mid-air, layering and intertwining to form a cocoon of light about three meters in diameter, completely enveloping the KEP-2.

Inside the cocoon of light, the control devices on the forehead of the KEP-2 slowly detached from its forehead and floated in a row above its forehead.

As the light flickered, the frequency gradually synchronized perfectly with the energy fluctuations of the two metal spheres above and below.

The biological consciousness deep within the spaceship erupted with an almost jubilant emotional surge, completely connecting with the control metal of the KAP-2.

The navigation and control system of this ancient relic spaceship, which has survived for hundreds of millions of years, has finally been officially activated again after countless years of silence!

Meanwhile, on the other side, Akira Fukamachi, who had just been helped into the cabin to rest by Mizuki and Tetsuro, sensed the commotion outside and instantly opened her eyes:

"The reaction from this ruined spaceship... does it mean Professor Jinno has returned?!"

"That's right, it's me. I've now become the true brain of this spaceship!"

Tsubasa Kamino's deep voice, penetrating the entire spaceship's biological structure, clearly resonated throughout every cabin, carrying the unique magnetism of cavity resonance:

"Director Oda Kiri, Akira, Murakami, Upton, and everyone else, please gather together in the cavity below the control room."

I will then immediately activate the spaceship's protection system to seal off all outer space and create a defensive buffer zone.

The Beast Gods could arrive at any moment; we must not let them break through before the spaceship takes off!

Everyone responded immediately and acted quickly but in an orderly manner.

Mizuki and Tetsuro supported the still somewhat weak Fukamachi Akira, Murakami Masaki and Hayami Toshiaki protected the researchers, while Upton walked on the outside of the group, unconsciously looking after the few people lagging behind.

In a short while, everyone had gathered in the cavity area below the control room.

Meanwhile, under the control of Kamino Tsubasa's will, the bio-engine of the Relic Spaceship began to emit an increasingly deep roar.

The energy exchange whip, used to extract geothermal energy from a depth of thousands of meters, began to slowly withdraw from the churning magma layer, contracting layer by layer to below the spacecraft's propulsion organs, forming a long, club-shaped tail.

The entire biomass hull of the spaceship began to tremble violently, and the scattered points of light on its surface suddenly surged, forming a bright, blazing net.

The spaceship's life energy response began to rise exponentially, causing the entire base's lower levels to enter a state of violent resonance, with rubble falling from the ceiling.

"Bang—bang—bang—" The probe cables connected to the top of the relic spaceship snapped one by one from the vibration, falling with blinding electric light and kicking up a string of sparks.

"Lower engine power refill - Begin!"
