Meeting the man's teasing gaze, Su Wuli buried her face in his neck and refused to look up.

She lifted her fingers from his chest and punched him lightly.

This time, without a blanket to shield him, the fist landed on his chest.

He then subconsciously looked down at himself.

He had nothing on him.

There was only a blanket before, but now he has lifted it up.

She was naked and being held in his arms.

Su Wuli turned her back to him, wrapped the blanket tightly around herself, and curled up into a ball.

"You scoundrel, you wear your own clothes but won't let others wear them."

Her back was to the man, and the lines of her spine extended down from the back of her neck, appearing and disappearing segment by segment.

Yu Chen's fingers reached out from her waist, hooked the edge of the blanket, and pulled it down an inch to reveal her shoulder blades.

Then his chest pressed against mine.

Su Wuli's back was pressed against his chest, and she could feel his body temperature.

His undergarment had somehow come undone, leaving his bare skin pressed against his bare skin.

From the shoulder blades to the waist, there is no fabric separating them.

A tingling sensation spread from her spine to her limbs.

She slumped into his arms, with nowhere to escape.

The man's large hand encircled her waist, his palm pressed against her lower abdomen.

Gently caress it with its thin calluses.

Su Wuli's breath hitched, and she instinctively grabbed his wrist.

His fingernails dug into his skin.

His warm lips pressed against the back of her neck, and he whispered, "For the sake of fairness..." His voice seemed to seep into her skin, "Should I take mine off too?"

As soon as she finished speaking, her fingers slid off his wrist, powerless.

The next second, her body was unexpectedly flipped over by a large hand to face him.

Her gaze met the man's eyes directly, and there was a burning intensity in them.

Su Wuli couldn't bear his blatant gaze and lowered her head, her eyes darting away.

The oil lamp went out.

In the darkness, Su Wuli huddled closer to him.

The footsteps of patrolling soldiers approached, passing by outside the tent.

Several swaying shadows flashed across the canvas, and the light of torches squeezed in through the gaps.

Su Wuli's heart leaped into her throat as she listened to the footsteps.

People outside can get so close even through this canvas.

She felt so close that she thought they could see inside through the gap in the curtains if they just tilted their heads.

She lay on Yu Chen's chest, her hands tightly gripping the collar of his undergarment.

The footsteps passed by outside the tent and disappeared.

Su Wuli breathed a sigh of relief, but before she could finish exhaling, the man rolled over and pressed down on her.

His movements were so fast that her gasp was cut off before it could even escape her throat by his lips.

He kissed her deeply, his tongue entwining with hers with each thrust filled with restraint.

A large hand slid down her side, supporting her and lifting her up.

Su Wuli didn't even have time to struggle before she was overwhelmed by the man's kiss.

It was as if a desert traveler had finally found a spring and greedily devoured the sweetness from her mouth.

He kissed her with a burning passion that seemed to want to consume her completely, sucking on her lips.

The changes were so rapid that her heart skipped a beat.

Suddenly, he released her lips and moved away half an inch, his forehead touching hers.

His breath was hot and rapid on her face.

Su Wuli subconsciously turned her head to look in the direction of the tent flap, where a grayish-white ray of snow light squeezed in through the gap.

It falls to the ground in a thin layer, like an unsharpened knife, feeling cool against the skin.

"There are people outside," she said, her voice trembling slightly.

Yu Chen didn't move, his lips pressed against the corner of her mouth.

Seeing that he wouldn't get down, Su Wuli slid her hand off his shoulder and pushed him against his chest.

He looked up and met her deep eyes, which shone brightly in the darkness.

His gaze, however, was deep and unfathomable, like that of a vicious wolf in the deep mountains.

"They'll hear us..." Her voice trailed off.

He pressed his fingertip lightly against her lower lip, then leaned close to her ear and said, "Then keep your voice down."

As soon as she finished speaking, Su Wuli's ears burned.

It felt like someone had set fire to her skin, burning from the inside out, making her whole body feel hot.

Her hand pressed against his chest, turning from pushing to gripping.

She gripped the collar of his undershirt.

Yu Chen lowered his head and kissed her again, not giving her a chance to speak.

He captured her lips, either gently biting or sucking...

Su Wuli closed her eyes, her eyelashes trembling slightly.

The wind outside the tent picked up again, making the canvas flap loudly.

She seemed to be deaf to everything except her own heartbeat intertwined with his.

She arched her body slightly and pressed herself against him.

It wasn't intentional; the body moved on its own.

It felt like something was pushing her outwards from her spine, pushing her toward him.

The man's lips moved away from hers and kissed her down her chin.

Her head was tilted back, exposing her neck.

The kiss landed.

She couldn't help but let out a hum.

Yu Chen stopped, his lips still pressed against her neck without moving.

Su Wuli waited for a while and noticed that the man did not continue.

Footsteps sounded again outside the tent, approaching from a distance.

Her hand slid down from his shoulder and hung on his chest.

His lips were still pressed against her neck, and her breathing was rapid and shallow.

His chest heaved.

Su Wuli could feel the eyelashes brushing against her skin, a tingling sensation like being electrocuted.

Then his lips moved away from her Adam's apple and touched the corner of her mouth.

But he didn't kiss her.

For some reason, Su Wuli leaned forward as if possessed.

Her lips followed and touched the corner of Yu Chen's mouth.

She gave it a kiss, and then took the initiative to give it a light kiss.

Unlike Yu Chen, Su Wuli could only kiss his lips back and forth, not knowing how to kiss him more deeply.

As she kissed him, she got carried away and started lightly biting his lower lip, almost without any rhythm.

Yu Chen's lips suddenly moved away from the corner of her mouth, close to her ear, and he spoke meaningfully, "Not afraid anymore?"

Su Wuli neither shook her head nor nodded.

They raised their hands from his chest, grabbed the back of his neck, and pulled him down.

Yu Chen leaned down and pressed his lips against hers, following her lead.

She seemed somewhat unconvinced and kissed him again, still clumsy and without any finesse.

The next second, his large hand gripped the back of her head, deepening the kiss.

The footsteps of patrolling soldiers passed by outside the tent again.

Su Wuli heard it, but didn't stop.

His hand slid down from the back of her head, down her spine vertebra by vertebra, and stopped at her lower back.

He gently rubbed the skin with his fingertips.

The spine softens from the tailbone upwards, as if the bones have been removed from each vertebra.

Her body was pressed against his, without a single gap.

After a long kiss, Yu Chen released her lips again.

Su Wuli's eyes were half-closed, her pupils unfocused.

His lips were slightly parted as he breathed heavily.

Yu Chen's Adam's apple bobbed as he lowered his head and leaned close to her ear.

"I held back." His voice was hoarse. "Don't make a sound."
