Upon hearing this, Su Wuli instinctively tightened her grip on the man's hair as she clung to his neck.

His lips moved away from her ear and pressed against her neck; she bit her lip to stifle her voice.

Footsteps passed by the tent flap, and shadows on the canvas slid past and disappeared.

The footsteps faded into the distance.

Su Wuli's tense nerves finally relaxed, she loosened her bitten lips, and took a breath.

A faint tooth mark was left on her lips.

Yu Chen looked down at the teeth mark on her lips and gently rubbed his thumb against her lower lip.

He removed his fingertips from Su Wuli's lips, noticing a white mark on her lower lip from biting it, which was almost broken.

"Don't bite yourself, bite me instead," he said, bringing his shoulder close to her mouth.

Su Wuli didn't open her mouth.

The next instant, her teeth sank into the muscle of his shoulder.

Su Wuli bit his shoulder, silencing her own voice.

He said, "Be good, just bear with it."

Su Wuli felt she had been tricked and bit her shoulder even harder.

She couldn't help but curse him in her heart, her teeth digging into the skin of his shoulder in revenge.

Yu Chen grunted and teased, "Chewing so tightly?"

Su Wuli was stunned for a moment.

My head is spinning and I can't quite process what's happening.

I don't know if he was referring to her mouth or something else.

Her face turned even redder, and she immediately loosened her teeth.

In the dimly lit tent, a deep ring of teeth marks could be vaguely seen on the shoulder.

But she didn't have time to look at the teeth marks she had made herself.

The next second, her fingers suddenly gripped his wrist tightly.

She couldn't take it anymore...

Yu Chen pulled her back.

There is nowhere to escape.

His breath brushed against her earlobe. "A heat pack doesn't have to be pressed tightly against you to be warm."

He paused, then asked in a hoarse voice, "Right, baby?"

As soon as she finished speaking, her mind went blank, as if someone had set off a firework in her head.

It exploded.

It shattered into pieces and fell from above, landing on her.

My whole body felt weak and limp, spreading outwards from my spine.

At that moment, Su Wuli had only one thought in her mind: why did he call her "baby" so sweetly?

She actually loved hearing him call her "baby," loved it to death.

Su Wuli was so ashamed that she didn't want him to notice, so she buried her face in his neck like an ostrich.

However, Yu Chen sensed her change, as if a cat with its fur standing on end had been stroked gently, causing it to retract its claws and teeth.

They nestled obediently in my arms.

Yu Chen looked down at her bright red earlobes, a slight smile playing on his lips.

He deliberately whispered in her ear again.

"Baby, am I right?"

Upon hearing this, Su Wuli buried her face even deeper, her heart clenching.

He stopped shouting, put his hands around her waist, and hugged her tightly.

Her fingers dug into the skin of his back, her nails sinking in.

He didn't hide.

He even reached out and tucked a few stray strands of her hair behind her ear.

Suddenly, footsteps could be heard outside.

Yu Chen reacted before she did.

Su Wuli's heart was pounding, and she felt as if she were standing on a building ten thousand meters high, where a gentle breeze could send her plummeting.

The footsteps outside the tent didn't go far; they lingered nearby.

The boots crunched on the snow.

They could even walk from left to right, and then from right to left.

You can faintly hear people talking in hushed tones.

The sound came in muffledly through the canvas, and the content was unclear.

Su Wuli tensed up, her fingers unconsciously gripping his shoulder, her nails digging into his skin, leaving white marks.

She thought to herself, if people outside heard this, how would she ever have the face to leave the tent again?

Thinking this, her eyelashes trembled slightly with anxiety, and her breathing became shallow.

Every heartbeat felt like a drumbeat.

Su Wuli turned her head to look in the direction of the tent curtain. The light was still there, hazy like an open eye.

"No more..." she whispered cautiously.

Yu Chen's Adam's apple bobbed.

He lowered his head, his face pressed against her neck, his voice restrained and hoarse, "This is more deadly than war."

The man's breath was so hot it made her ears tingle.

Su Wuli could feel his body tense, and his muscles hardening one by one.

His whole body was hard and burning hot.

The two remained locked in this stalemate.

The footsteps and voices outside were still there.

For a moment, Su Wuli didn't know what to do.

She placed her hand on his chest, unsure whether to push him away or not.

She looked up and met his eyes.

Suddenly, the man moved and unexpectedly picked her up from the bed.

The movements were not fast; in fact, they could be described as very slow.

He supported her waist and lifted her up. Afraid of falling, she instinctively clung to his neck.

Yu Chen bent down and pulled the blanket from beside her feet, wrapping her completely inside.

The blanket was thick, covering her skin and part of her shame as well.

He held her in his arms and stood in the middle of the tent, with nothing around them.

Su Wuli hugged him tightly, her face pressed against his neck.

Yu Chen slowly opened his lips and said, "That way you won't be able to hear it."

Um?

Su Wuli paused for a moment.

I thought to myself, how could you not hear me? I opened my mouth and then closed it again.

Her gaze met the man's eyes, and she saw a meaningful glint in them.

Then he whispered something in her ear, and her face turned even redder.

Su Wuli didn't know if he was telling the truth or just trying to comfort her.

She could only curl up into a ball, nestled in his arms, burying her face in his neck, too afraid to look up.

She bit her lip.

"Baby, don't bite your lip."

As soon as she finished speaking, Su Wuli released her lips and bit his shoulder.

His teeth dug into the muscles of his shoulder, but Yu Chen didn't even flinch.

Su Wuli initially held back, reluctant to bite hard, but she was provoked by the man's rudeness.

One bite mark wasn't enough; he bit several times in quick succession.

Yu Chen had a ring of teeth marks on his shoulder, some deep and some shallow.

In some places, the skin is almost broken, while in others it's just a small red patch.

His lips brushed against her ear, his voice low and chuckled, "Bite so tightly, are you afraid I'll run away?"

Su Wuli did not answer him, nor did she dare to make a sound.

All I could do was bite him and swallow all my words.

My throat tightened from swallowing, and my eyes felt hot from swallowing.

Tears welled up without me noticing; they were the words I had swallowed back, forced out of my eyes.

Drop by drop, it fell onto his shoulder.

The footsteps outside the tent drew closer, but she could barely hear them.

The shadow on the canvas slid past, and she couldn't see it clearly.

All she could hear was Yu Chen's heartbeat, which was as fast as hers.

It was as if the wind had slipped in from somewhere and was blowing on her toes that were sticking out of the blanket.

The blanket slipped down her shoulders, revealing her shoulder blades.

His fingertips brushed against her shoulder blades, gently caressing them.

Yu Chen hugged her tightly, resting his chin on the top of her head.

The blanket slipped off her shoulders and piled up around her waist, exposing her back.

The rough fingertips slid down the curve of the shoulder blade, segment by segment.

When she stopped at his lower back, she bit his shoulder with even more force.

He reminded him in a hoarse voice, "Hold on tight."

Su Wuli wrapped her slightly weak arms around his neck, clinging to him like a koala.

Su Wuli bit her lip again to suppress her voice.

Yu Chen noticed and stopped to look down at her.

He pressed his finger against her lower lip. "Don't bite."
