The Knight of Light plants the sun in the eternal night.

Li Ao struggled to open his eyelids, only to be met with a familiar pitch-black scene; for the blind, everything was darkness.

However, this is accompanied by the focusing of the eye.

He actually saw a slightly aged face, a face that was both inexplicably familiar and completely unfamiliar, and it appeared exceptionally clear in the dim light.

Li Ao was stunned.

He suspected he was dreaming, dreaming of a scene from three years ago, before the car accident and before he lost his sight.

now.

It seemed to be in a moving carriage, the carriage was bumping a bit.

The old man sat beside him, silently weeping, muttering something in Chinese, but Li Ao somehow understood: "Young Master... if you don't wake up, I... I will follow you, even if it means going to hell, this old servant will continue to serve you."

It sounds like a language from another world.

"Another world?"

Li Ao was suddenly startled.

The next moment, a sharp pain shot through his head, as if something was being forced inside, causing him to groan involuntarily, "Ugh..."

"Ah!" The old man was startled, then wiped away his tears in disbelief, staring blankly at Li Ao. "Young...Young Master, you're awake!"

He was so excited that he started trembling all over.

With a whoosh, the carriage curtain was lifted, and a head with a mustache poked its head in, anxiously asking, "Butler Dirk, has Leo woken up?"

"May the Holy Light protect us, may the Holy Light protect us!" Butler Dirk prayed, his voice choked with emotion. "Lord Frankenstein, I heard the young master make a sound... but please, could you confirm for me, is the young master truly awake?"

Franken climbed his upper body into the carriage.

In the dim light, he exchanged a glance with Li Ao, whose face was contorted in pain, and then burst into laughter: "He's awake! He's awake! Blessed by the Holy Light, Leo is awake!"

He quickly excused himself: "Butler Dirk, look after Leo, I'll go get Doris right now!"

Doris is a young maid.

After Butler Decker gave up his seat, the maid took the kerosene lamp and sat down next to Li Ao.

Hang the kerosene lamp on the roof of the vehicle.

They carefully examined Li Ao's condition.

He exclaimed excitedly, "May the Holy Light protect us! Young Master has really woken up, though he's still a little disoriented. That's wonderful! That's wonderful! I knew the Holy Light would bless the Glowing Mushroom family!"

Under the lights.

Li Ao's gaze began to focus again.

The confused expression gradually returned to calm.

He transmigrated to a world called the Eternal Night Continent, replacing someone who was supposed to be dead.

This body is named Leo Glowing Fungus, the second son of Baron Glowing Fungus. He has no right to inherit the throne, but due to his father's kindness, he was knighted as a lord after his coming-of-age ceremony at the age of sixteen.

Lord Knight is the lowest rank of nobility.

But he also had a fiefdom of his own, and this trip was to lead his team to that fiefdom—the Swamp Manor.

Unfortunately, on their way to the manor, the convoy was attacked by Shadow Beasts, and Leo Glowing Fungus was critically injured and on the verge of death.

To be precise, he is already dead.

The one who survived is Li Ao, who will now live in this other world as Leo the Glowing Fungus.

The sudden time travel left him completely bewildered.

But being able to regain his sight and see the faces of the old butler Dirk and the maid Doris clearly dispelled his confusion and replaced it with a beautiful expectation for the future, to live a normal life again!

I was blind in my past life.

The world was plunged into darkness, and life was plunged into despair.

Now that I've regained my sight, what is there that I can't accept?

"Doris... water..." he croaked, his body having been unconscious for half a day and desperately thirsty.

……

While Doris went to get water...

Leo leaned back in the carriage, slowly processing all the information, and took a deep breath to accept reality.

Time travel is great! Time travel is great!

He laboriously raised his arm and lifted the curtain of the carriage window. It was pitch black outside, but he could see a line of green light extending from the carriage to both ends until it disappeared into the darkness.

This is a road of dim light.

The green glow is emitted by a luminous mushroom called the fluorescent mushroom, which is also the origin of his noble surname.

"The Eternal Night Continent..."

He inherited all of the original owner's memories and also learned what kind of world this was, a world called the Eternal Night Continent.

As the name suggests.

The sun disappeared from this world, and darkness enveloped the entire continent. For the past thousand years, humanity has lived in darkness.

Monsters lurk everywhere in the darkness.

The Shadow Beast that attacked Leo was one of them.

Fortunately, even without the sun, there is still fire and light. The humans of the Eternal Night Continent can ignite a faint fire in the darkness to drive away monsters, and then continue to thrive and multiply in the dim light.

Most importantly, humans have cultivated bioluminescent plants.

The glowing plants planted everywhere can ward off monster invasions; where there are glowing plants, that is where humans live.

Phosphorescent mushrooms are plants that emit light.

The roadside is lined with fluorescent mushrooms, which can effectively ward off monsters in the dark and ensure the safety of passersby.

but.

This dimly lit path leading to the swampy plains has, for some reason, a gap in the middle.

The Shadow Beasts took advantage of the situation and attacked the convoy.

"A conspiracy? Someone wants to harm me?" Leo wondered to himself. "Was it done by Madame Sandra?"

With no answer yet, he kept his thoughts to himself.

Suddenly I felt a slight warmth in my left palm.

He raised his hand and saw a faintly glowing sun mark beneath the skin of his palm. In an instant, he realized that this was his cheat code: "The sun mark... it's that sunflower, it really was it that took me through time!"

Before he traveled through time, he was blind.

After being blinded in a car accident, he could no longer see the sunlight. One day, he had a sudden idea: he wanted to plant a sunflower to chase the sunlight in his place.

When the florist handed him the sunflower plant.

Touch the sunflower leaves.

He clearly heard the language of the sunflower, a passionate and powerful voice resonating directly in his mind: "I am the sun, Li Ao, let us illuminate the darkness!"

Holding a sunflower and leaning on a guide cane.

Inspired by the sunflower's enthusiasm.

As he walked out of the flower shop, a slight smile unconsciously appeared on his lips, and he muttered to himself, "Okay!"

I initially thought it was just a hallucination caused by the blind person.

Unexpectedly, the next moment, while crossing the road, a tremendous force knocked him away. When he regained consciousness, he was in this moving carriage, having traveled through time with Sunflower.

He became Leo the Glowing Mushroom.

That pot of sunflowers became the sun's imprint on his palm.

Clenching his fist, Leo shouted in his heart, "Sunflower, oh sunflower, you are the sun, and I am Leo. Let us shine brightly on this continent of eternal night, illuminating this dark and dangerous world!"

He had had enough of the dark world of the blind.

Now all he wants to do is plant sunflowers one after another on the Eternal Night Continent, like planting little suns one after another, so that light can dispel the darkness.

make a fist.

The sun's mark emanated a gentle warmth, the scent of sunshine. Leo knew that he had begun a new life.

"I am the sun!"
