Xiu Gou's Taming Record

Chapter 60: Quite Good at Disciplining People

Yu Heng gently kicked Qin Ya under the table.

This girl is starting to ask unnecessary questions again.

Qin Ya winced in pain and glared at Yu Heng, but she restrained herself somewhat.

Ning Yutong listened quietly and smiled.

She was actually quite curious about Bai Xinran's affairs.

She's so beautiful, and has such a great figure...

Although she and Bai Xinran added each other on WeChat, their conversations were very formal.

She didn't know the specifics of her relationship with Yu Heng.

When I arrived at the villa today, I saw Yu Heng and the other person having breakfast together.

I felt inexplicably uncomfortable, especially since Bai Xinran was dressed so casually.

Her cleavage is quite visible!

Thinking of this, Ning Yutong subconsciously looked down at her chest.

She hasn't met her match in this aspect yet!

Even Yue Ling is not as good as her!

The barbecue arrived quickly.

Yu Heng naturally picked up the tongs and started grilling, while Qin Ya directed from the side, "I want pork belly! Grill it a little charred!"

"Cooked food can cause cancer." Yu Heng said expressionlessly.

"I don't care, I want it burnt!"

"Fine, fine, I'll roast you until you're charcoal-covered."

Ning Yutong said softly, "Yu Heng, let me help you?"

"No need, you can just sit and eat." Yu Heng didn't even look up. "I'll get you some when it's done grilling."

Qin Ya pouted from the side: "Favoritism."

Yu Heng picked up a sizzling piece of pork belly and shoved it into Qin Ya's mouth: "Eat your food and shut up."

"Hot, hot, hot!" Qin Ya gasped as she was burned, but she still chewed and swallowed it. "...It's alright."

Bai Xinran looked at this scene and suddenly found it a little funny.

The way these two interact really does resemble that of siblings.

"Xinran, have some," Ning Yutong said, placing a piece of grilled beef rib on Bai Xinran's plate.

"Thank you," Bai Xinran nodded.

The four of them ate and chatted, and halfway through the meal, Yu Heng suddenly asked, "By the way, what are your plans for the afternoon?"

Qin Ya immediately raised her hand: "Didn't you say you'd take me out to play?!"

"I'm taking you out to have fun," Yu Heng said, "but I didn't say they couldn't come along."

He looked at Bai Xinran and Ning Yutong: "Perfect timing! A new escape room just opened on the commercial street, and the reviews seem pretty good. How about the four of us go together?"

Bai Xinran raised an eyebrow: "Escape room?"

"That sounds interesting," Ning Yutong said softly. "I've never played it before."

Qin Ya got excited: "Play! We have to play! I want to play the scariest one!"

"With your guts?" Yu Heng scoffed. "Don't be so scared that you'll end up burying your face in someone's arms."

"Who snuggled into your arms!" Qin Ya glared at him, then pointed at Ning Yutong and said, "I snuggled... into her arms!"

Ning Yutong: "...? Why?"

"Because of the shock absorption!" Qin Ya said with a smile, "and it's soft and comfortable!"

"Tsk!" Yu Heng smacked her on the back of the head again. "What did you promise me? Don't talk nonsense!"

"If you keep talking nonsense," Yu Heng withdrew his hand, "I'll lock you in a dark room by yourself this afternoon during the escape room game."

"You dare!" Qin Ya's eyes widened. "I'm your future cash cow!"

"Saplings need pruning to grow straight," Yu Heng said, stuffing meat into his mouth, "otherwise they'll grow crooked."

Bai Xinran smiled as she listened, thinking, "She's quite good at disciplining people."

Will I discipline myself like this in the future?

"Is Xinran going?" Ning Yutong asked softly. "Escape rooms are more fun with more people."

Bai Xinran wasn't actually very interested in escape rooms.

But if everyone goes, it would be a bit odd for her not to go.

"Sure," she nodded, "I don't have anything planned for this afternoon anyway."

"Yay!" Qin Ya raised her hand. "Let's go now!"

"Let me make a call and ask." Yu Heng took out his phone, opened Dianping (a Chinese review platform), and found the newly opened escape room.

When the call connected, Yu Heng asked a few simple questions.

After hanging up, he looked at the three of them: "There are still seats available for the 2:30 showing. The theme is... Chinese horror, a mild horror level. Is that okay?"

"How severe is your mild phobia?" Ning Yutong asked nervously.

"NPCs might suddenly jump out and scare you, but they won't chase you or touch you," Yu Heng explained. "It's suitable for beginners."

"I want to play!" Qin Ya immediately raised her hand, "I want something scary!"

Bai Xinran raised an eyebrow: "Aren't you afraid?"

"It's more fun when you're scared!" Qin Ya said matter-of-factly. "Otherwise, are you going to pay to go in and see the scenery?"

Yu Heng looked at Ning Yutong: "Can you accept this?"

Ning Yutong bit her lip.

She's actually quite afraid of ghosts and monsters.

When I was a child, I watched "Ju-on" and was so scared that I didn't dare to go to the toilet by myself for a week.

but……

She secretly glanced at Yu Heng.

Would saying no make me seem particularly cowardly?

Moreover, Qin Ya and Bai Xinran are both going, so it would be embarrassing for her if she couldn't go.

"I can do it," she took a deep breath. "A slight phobia should be okay, right?"

"Okay, it's booked then." He opened the reservation page, "2:30." After a while, the group stood at the entrance of the escape room.

The store was decorated in a nice atmosphere, with a black signboard with blood-red lettering and a hideous ghost face painted next to it.

"That's it?" Qin Ya leaned closer to the glass door and looked inside. "It's pitch black inside."

A young man wearing glasses sat at the front desk. He adjusted his glasses and asked, "Four of you, right? You've booked the 2:30 show?"

"Yes," Yu Heng nodded, "the Chinese horror theme."

"Okay, please wait a moment." The deliveryman stood up and took out four waivers from the cabinet. "Fill out these first, and then I'll explain the precautions to you."

Qin Ya took the agreement, glanced at it, and began to sign: "Is this thing even useful? Will they compensate me if something really goes wrong?"

The young man chuckled twice: "You're so funny, classmate. We only have mild phobia; it's perfectly safe."

Ning Yutong held the pen, glanced at the terms of the agreement, and felt her heart pounding.

"It's okay," Yu Heng leaned closer and whispered, "I'm here, I won't scare you."

Ning Yutong blushed, nodded, and signed the document.

After signing the agreement, the deliveryman led them inside.

"Our theme is called 'The Embroiderer'," the young man explained as he walked. "The background is an ancient embroidery workshop where an embroiderer was unjustly killed and turned into a vengeful ghost... But don't worry, this is only mildly scary. The NPCs won't touch you or chase you; they'll just suddenly appear and scare you a little."

"That's it?" Qin Ya pouted. "Boring."

"Don't worry, classmate," the young man pushed open a wooden door, "you'll find out when you go in."

Inside the door was a dressing room, with several coarse cloth garments hanging on the wall.

"Do you need to change clothes?" Yu Heng asked.

"It's not mandatory, but changing them will make the experience more immersive." The young man pointed to the clothes, "The girls' are here, and the boys' are over there."

Qin Ya was the first to rush over, grabbing a piece of clothing and putting it on: "I want to change! This is so much fun!"

When the four of them came out after changing their clothes, they looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh.

"It actually looks pretty convincing," Qin Ya said, circling around Yu Heng. "Brother, you could star in a period drama dressed like that."

"Stop being silly," Yu Heng patted her head, "Let's go."

The young man led them to a heavy wooden door with a yellowed talisman pasted on it.

"The door will lock automatically once you're inside," the young man said. "There's a walkie-talkie inside, so you can ask for help if you get stuck. Have a great time!"

After he finished speaking, he pushed open the door.

It was pitch black inside, with only a few dim candlelight flickering in the distance.

A musty smell mixed with the scent of incense wafted out.

"I'll go first," Yu Heng said naturally, walking in front. "Qin Ya, you stay close to me, Bai Xinran, you bring up the rear, and Ning Yutong, walk in the middle."

This arrangement is reasonable.

Ning Yutong felt a warmth in her heart and followed Yu Heng inside.

The door closed behind me.

"Damn, it's so dark!" Qin Ya's voice sounded surprisingly excited.
