A certain Hogwarts professor of runes

Chapter 132 Rowena Ravenclaw

Chapter 134 Rowena Ravenclaw

This is a beautiful but stern-faced witch who doesn't look like a memory at all, but rather a real, living person.

If Felix hadn't witnessed her materialize from the void, he would have thought Ravenclaw was still alive!

The witch's gaze seemed unfocused, but when she saw Helena, her eyes suddenly brightened.

Her eyebrows and expressions became more refined, and her gaze gradually sharpened. She was Rowena Ravenclaw, one of the four founders of Hogwarts, a legendary wizard from a thousand years ago.

"Helena, welcome home," she said.

"Mother," Helena choked out, silvery tears streaming down her face.

Mrs. Ravenclaw's sharp gaze swept over her body, then glanced at Felix, who stood quietly to the side.

"Could you tell me how much time has passed, sir?"

"You may call me Felix, Felix Heap." Felix bowed slightly. "A thousand years have passed, madam."

"A thousand years..." Ravenclaw murmured the word, walked over to Helena, and gently wiped away the tears on her face.

"What more could I ask for than to see you again after a thousand years?" Ravenclaw said gently.

"Mother, it's all my fault! I shouldn't have stolen your crown, I shouldn't have run away from home, and I shouldn't have disobeyed Barrow... I didn't even get to see you one last time..." Helena cried sorrowfully.

"You are my child, how can this be considered stealing?" Mrs. Ravenclaw said affectionately, gently lifting Helena's cloak to look at the black wound on it, and asked, "Does it hurt?"

"It hurts, Helena, it hurts day and night," Helena said, clinging to her mother's arm in a slightly coquettish tone.

Ms. Ravenclaw lifted her daughter's hand, and without her doing anything, Helena's transparent fingers quickly turned white and full, then extended upwards. In less than a minute, Helena transformed from a ghost into a physical being.

Her clothes also changed into a deep blue evening gown.

Felix then noticed that Helena's hair was a vibrant burgundy.

"Mother?" Helena looked at Ravenclaw in surprise. She suddenly fell two inches off the ground, staggered a couple of steps, and almost fell over, but Ravenclaw caught her. It had been so long that she had forgotten how a normal person walks.

She tentatively took one step, then two, before her body swayed and she fell to the ground.

Ms. Ravenclaw stepped forward to help her up, and Helena leaned most of her body against her.

"Try again! You haven't even put your shoes on yet, and you've already fallen like this!"

"But I haven't walked in a long time."

Felix watched all this without intervening. It was all a mirage; at least, he didn't believe Lady Rowena Ravenclaw had the ability to bring the dead back to life.

Besides, she was just a memory.

Besides, he could clearly see that Helena's smile was getting brighter and brighter, and her eyes were curving into crescents, which was a sign that her inner knot was being untied.

"Isn't everything exactly as I expected? You should have been prepared, Felix."

Helena and Mrs. Ravenclaw were having a great time playing a game of "helping each other walk," completely ignoring Felix standing nearby.

After about half an hour, the two ladies stopped and tidied their somewhat messy hair.

Helena emanated a soft, pale white light, making her look like a princess.

"Mother, you've forgiven me, haven't you?" she asked, still somewhat nervously.

"I have never blamed you," said Mrs. Ravenclaw with a smile.

Helena smiled through her tears, her face radiating a holy and pure light.

After a moment, Helena whispered in her mother's ear, and their eyes turned to Felix not far away.

The two walked over together, their arms linked.

"Mr. Hyp?" said Ms. Rowena Ravenclaw.

"Ms. Ravenclaw, Helena, congratulations," Felix said.

"Thanks to you, Felix. Otherwise, I might have been lonely forever," Helena said with a smile, gently tugging at her mother's sleeve.

Rowena Ravenclaw looked at him gently. "Thank you so much, Mr. Hyp, for rescuing my daughter."

"Helena and I are friends, and so is Barrow. I hope they can both resolve their inner conflicts..."

"Barrow? He's not dead?" Rowena Ravenclaw's expression froze, her gaze sharper than ever before, intimidating to behold.

Helena said with a hint of schadenfreude, "That jerk has also become a ghost, but he's not having an easy time either, always carrying bloodstained shackles. You don't need to bother him anymore."

"Really?" Rowena Ravenclaw's gaze drifted into the distance.

Felix sensed the constant surge of magic within Rowena Ravenclaw; she seemed to be doing something he couldn't comprehend.

Outside the House of Response, extremely hidden magical patterns were lit up one by one, starting from the eighth floor and extending outwards continuously.

Tower, seventh floor, sixth floor, expanding downwards and outwards...

In the Headmaster's office, Dumbledore put down his quill, his expression full of confusion. It seemed—he had been stripped of some of the Headmaster's powers?

No, it wasn't deprivation, but rather a temporary loan, albeit quite domineeringly, without consulting his master.

Who has this authority? Dumbledore stood up with a serious expression.

The spiral staircase in the castle began to twist violently, and some of the armor creaked and groaned.

In a secluded, abandoned classroom in the underground space of Hogwarts, Barrow, the Blood Man, floated expressionlessly in mid-air.

A gust of wind blew by, startling the emaciated Barrow awake. He looked around blankly, but found nothing.

Inside the "Always Required" room, Rowena Ravenclaw sighed.

"It was my mistake. I shouldn't have let him go to you."

"It's all over now," Helena said softly.

Felix breathed a sigh of relief; thankfully, nothing serious had happened. He was afraid that Ravenclaw would want to avenge his daughter and would simply make Barrow disappear.

Although both involve disappearance, self-liberation and being reduced to a cloud of mist are completely different concepts.

"However—I seem to have spotted something familiar," said Mrs. Ravenclaw. To Felix and Helena's somewhat puzzled look, a tattered crown suddenly appeared out of thin air and fell onto the white ground.

"Is this your crown?" Helena exclaimed in surprise. "How did it end up here?"

Mrs. Ravenclaw stared at the crown. "If you don't know, how should I? I found it in a junkyard... What do these little wizards think my lab is?"

Felix's gaze was fixed on the crown. He abruptly shifted his perspective—just like the feeling the diary gave him, a deep, evil magic, deathly silent.

This is a Horcrux!

"A soul is sealed inside... the magic left behind by that despicable Helbo?" Madam Ravenclaw frowned. "I think it's called a Horcrux?"

"You know about this?" Felix asked.

"Of course, Helbo was also very famous in my time, and many of his evil spells were widely known. But Horcruxes are indeed quite rare."

Mrs. Ravenclaw turned her gaze to Helena: "To whom did you hand over the crown?"

There will be one more chapter, and I'll try to finish that part today.
