Han Che turned around and stopped looking at the three people at the door.

Shimada's voice was still buzzing behind him like a fly, but he couldn't be bothered to respond anymore.

Shi Ding stood beside him, his shield upright on the ground, his hand resting on the edge of the shield.

Han Che turned and walked over, and Shi Ding turned slightly to face him.

"Is everything arranged?" Han Che asked.

"Your Excellency Warden, as you instructed, I have ordered all prison guards to refrain from combat to avoid direct conflict with the ravens and prisoners," Shi Ding reported quietly.

Han Che nodded. He had previously instructed that this operation should not involve any direct confrontation with the ravens or the prisoners.

Everything proceeded according to his plan.

"How are those prisoners doing?" Han Che asked.

"The brothers hiding in the cell just now reported that the number of prisoners in this riot has not decreased." Shi Ding paused, looked up at Han Che, and said, "Just as you guessed, all the prisoners killed in the last operation have been resurrected."

Han Che frowned slightly. He had guessed it, but upon hearing the confirmation, his heart still sank.

"Were there any casualties among our people?" Han Che asked.

"The brothers haven't had any direct conflict with the prisoners yet. At most, they've fired a few shots when they see people in the distance. There have been no casualties so far."

Shi Ding paused, lowered his voice, and took half a step forward. "The rest of the prison guards have already acted according to your pre-battle instructions. We received the news three minutes ago and are ready. It's just that there are quite a few prisoners around here, so the brothers are positioned rather far apart."

Han Che waved his hand. "It's alright, we'll let them act after we fight the Ravens." His eyes narrowed slightly, and the mask seemed to remember something.

The people in front of Han Che stood at attention at the same time, looking at him with firm eyes.

The atmosphere within the entire guard unit became serious and filled with murderous intent.

Just then, a sound came from the corner of the wall.

"Huh? Us? Why isn't he going? Shouldn't he be following our orders?"

The sound wasn't loud, but everyone in the quiet room heard it.

The entire guard was stunned for a moment.

Shi Ding's eyebrows furrowed, and the expressions of the guards froze simultaneously. Several pairs of eyes turned to Han Che, waiting for him to speak, their fingers on the triggers, gripping their guns tightly.

Han Che's mask

He knew who was speaking; it was the samurai sword squad member, I think his name was Takahashi or something.

"This guy doesn't seem to be very bright," Han Che thought to himself.

Sure enough, the next second they heard Shimada's voice, which sounded urgent and panicked, as if someone was choking him.

"Shh!" Then came a rustling sound, like someone was covering someone's mouth. "Don't make a sound..."

Then came Shimada's voice, lowered so much that none of the guards could hear what he was saying.

The guards didn't move when the warden didn't react; otherwise, those men in the corner would have been beaten to a pulp by now.

But Han Che heard it very clearly.

"I don't know why this happened..."

"In short, he and Raven are enemies. Let's go first and take the warden out."

"If they encounter ravens, they might start fighting."

"We'll find a place to hide then."

Oh.

Han Che chuckled inwardly; the plan was really shrewd.

However, Shimada was right. Even if they were allowed to go out first, Han Che and his men would still go out and fight Raven.

Because he still had a score to settle with the raven.

After the last Tide Prison operation ended, all the players left, and the prison became quiet. Han Che immediately resurrected Shi Ding.

The first thing he did was go to the cell, and as he expected, Raven and his four hammer soldiers were resurrected.

When he entered Raven's cell, Raven was sitting on his bed, twirling his revolver. He grinned when he saw him come in.

"Oh, the warden's here? Here to collect the body?"

"Unfortunately, I've been resurrected again."

Han Che stood at the door, looking at him, and said coldly, "Give in? You can't beat me."

Raven tucked the revolver back into his belt, stood up, and spread his hands. "I give up, but I'll do it again next time."

Han Che was furious. He didn't want to bring up the kindness he had shown to Raven again. Right now, he was just a prisoner who had killed his own brother.

Han Che gripped the Ash-12's handle, his finger on the trigger.

Raven also reached for the revolver at his waist, his fingers slowly parting the hammer.

Their eyes met, a tense standoff ensued.

The air in the cell felt frozen.

Then Han Che discovered something.

He couldn't lift his head; it was as if someone was holding him down, and he just couldn't lift it no matter how hard he tried.

Raven also discovered that he couldn't pull out his revolver either.

The two men stood there, their hands on their guns, but neither of them fired.

The raven paused for a moment, then laughed.

He released the revolver, took a step back, and threw his head back, bursting into unrestrained laughter. "Hahahaha!"

The laughter grew louder and louder until he was bent over, breathless, and tears streamed down his face.

"What is he laughing at?" Han Che didn't understand. Had he tampered with the gun? Han Che loosened his grip on the gun and glanced back at Shi Ding.

Shi Ding shook his head, not knowing what was going on.

Suddenly, the raven's laughter stopped abruptly, and it sprang to its feet, quickly drawing its revolver like a cowboy in the West.

This time, the revolver drew its gun and pointed it at Han Che. Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

No one expected Raven's move; the bullet flew over and hit Han Che straight in the chest.

Then it stopped less than a fist's width from his chest.

The bullet made a clanging sound as if it had hit some kind of transparent barrier, then fell to the ground, rolled a few times, and came to rest at Han Che's feet.

The guards reacted immediately the moment Raven fired.

Shi Ding blocked with his shield, and the three riflemen opened fire simultaneously.

The bullet hit the raven.

But all the bullets, just like those that hit Han Che, were deflected the moment they touched Raven's body. The bullets fell to the ground, making a clattering sound.

Raven looked down at itself, then at the bullet on the ground, and then looked up at Han Che.

His eyes flickered a few times, then he sat back on the bed sullenly, tossed the revolver aside, and crossed his arms over his chest.

"You just wait until the prison reopens."

The voice wasn't loud, like a child throwing a tantrum.

After saying that, he stopped looking at Han Che, turned around and faced the wall, turning his back to him.

Han Che stood in the cell, staring at the raven's back for a few seconds, lost in thought.

Then he turned around and left with his personal guard.

That night, Han Che sat alone in his office, thinking about many things.

When the prison is closed, he and Raven can't kill each other.

This setting is unreasonable!

But he couldn't explain why it was unreasonable.

He felt there was something in there, a thread, and he had grasped the end of the thread, but he couldn't figure it out.

"Your Excellency Warden, the three of them have gone out." Shi Ding's voice brought him back to reality.

"Let's go," Han Che said. "Let's go too."
