The next morning, Luo Fei woke up in his bed at home in Liuxi Village.

Sunlight streamed in through the gaps in the curtains, falling on the pillow. The winter sun wasn't harsh; instead, it was gentle.

He rolled over, triggering the system.

[A divine choice has been triggered today.]

The options then appeared: two electronic products.

"One thousand new iPhones" and "five hundred Huawei tablets".

Luo Fei had just finished choosing a tablet computer.

My phone rang; it was Director Qin calling.

Luo Fei answered the phone, and Director Qin's slightly hoarse voice came through the receiver.

"Xiao Luo, everyone's here. There are over a hundred people in total, including experts and scholars from multiple related fields such as botany, pharmacology, geology, and climatology."

"They all rushed here from all over the country last night. Some got on the bus as soon as they left the lab, some were picked up directly from their homes, and others were urgently recalled while on business trips. The troops are also in place—a whole battalion, fully armed. Is it convenient for you to come now?"

Luo Fei responded.

With a thought, he appeared in Director Qin's office the next second.

Director Qin was sitting behind his desk, with a thick stack of lists spread out in front of him, the papers still warm from the printer.

A thermos filled with goji berries was placed next to the list, its lid open, with steam rising from the rim.

Upon seeing Luo Fei, Director Qin immediately stood up from his chair, picked up the list, and said, "They're all in the military camp, not far from here. I'll take you there."

Suddenly, Luo Fei had a flash of inspiration and shouted, "Wait a minute!" Then, with a thought, he was standing on the deck of the cruise ship in the blink of an eye.

The cruise ship was sailing on the sea, and the strong sea breeze made his clothes flutter.

Li Xiulan sat under the awning, holding Xiaobai in her arms; the white cat was curled up in a ball.

Luo Weidong sat beside her, holding a teacup in his hand, with a flowerpot at his feet, the silvery-white leaves of the Spirit Gathering Grass swaying gently in the sea breeze.

Chu Yue stood on the ship's side, facing the sea, her ponytail swinging in the wind.

Hearing footsteps, she turned around and quickly walked up to Luo Fei.

Luo Fei gave a concise order: "Have Captain Lei take a few men and come with me. Put on your armor and bring your luggage."

Chu Yue nodded, turned and walked into the cabin.

Two minutes later, five people appeared in front of Luo Fei.

Captain Lei of the Hunter Blade Squad stood at the front, followed by four team members.

Luo Fei gestured: "Hold hands."

Upon hearing this, the five people extended their hands.

Luo Fei placed his hand on Captain Lei's shoulder and made another thought.

The next second, the six people were already standing in Director Qin's office. Director Qin was drinking water from his thermos when he suddenly saw the six people appear. He choked and coughed twice before he could swallow his water.

He put down his thermos, wiped his mouth with a tissue, and stood up: "The car is outside, I'll take you there."

The three cars drove out of the yard, turned onto the main road, and drove for about twenty minutes before leaving the city and entering the mountains.

The road gradually became narrower and bumpier, and the trees on both sides became increasingly lush.

The convoy was stopped at an intersection.

Two soldiers in military uniforms stood in the middle of the road, holding guns with the muzzles pointing downwards.

They saw Director Qin get out of the car, salute, and then let him pass.

The military camp was located in a valley; it was small but new and clean.

The playground is made of freshly leveled yellow earth, which is a bit soft when you step on it and kicks up a little dust.

A battalion of soldiers stood in the center of the parade ground.

The soldiers were fully armed, with serious expressions and upright postures.

Several military trucks were parked next to the playground, their cargo beds covered with green tarpaulins.

Luo Fei packed the trucks and their backpacks into his ring.

We led them to the conference room where the experts were.

In the large conference room, some experts were sitting, some were standing, some were talking in hushed tones, and some were lost in thought.

The crowd included elderly professors with gray hair, middle-aged researchers wearing thick glasses, and young scholars who had just graduated from school and still had a youthful look on their faces.

Their luggage was simple: a backpack, a suitcase, or a canvas bag, all piled on chairs in the corner of the conference room.

Director Qin was the first to enter the conference room, and the experts immediately fell silent.

He stepped forward, without a prepared speech or outline, and said bluntly, "Ladies and gentlemen, today's mission will not take place in China or on Earth, but on a planet about 9.8 light-years away from Earth."

The meeting room was silent at first, then someone gasped, someone exchanged a glance with the person next to them, and someone looked down at their hands.

No one stood up to ask questions, no one raised any objections, and no one said, "This is impossible."

Because they saw the person behind Director Qin.

Luo Fei stepped out from behind Director Qin and stood in front of the experts. His gaze swept over the faces before him.

His voice reached everyone in the conference room: "That planet is called Tiga b. It has an atmosphere, water, and plants, but no intelligent life has been found yet."

"Your mission is to study the plant resources on this planet and find out if there are any varieties that can replace the medicinal materials needed for the gene-enhancing agents."

"Upon arrival, do not act alone or leave the area under the protection of the troops. There are no hospitals or timely rescue services there; if any problems arise, you will have to rely on yourselves."

"The environment in Tigab is different from Earth, and you may feel unwell after you arrive. If your body really can't take it, tell me immediately and I will send you back. Don't push yourself, don't be stubborn, and don't think that just because you're an expert you can break the rules."

He took a square, matte black communicator out of his pocket and handed it to the gray-haired academician standing at the front.

The academician took the communicator and examined it closely, discovering that it had no screen or buttons, only a fingerprint recognition area.

Luo Fei explained, "This is a quantum communicator. No matter where you are, you can contact Earth. If you encounter any problems on Tigab, you can use it to contact Earth."

"Don't hesitate or procrastinate on any problem. Your lives are far more important than these trivial matters."

The academician gripped the communicator tightly in his hand and nodded vigorously.

Afterwards, Luo Fei put all the experts' and scholars' luggage and equipment into the ring.

Luo Fei instructed, "Everyone, hold hands and don't let go."

More than a hundred people stood together holding hands, and the soldiers followed suit.

Director Qin stood aside watching this scene, his expression complex, a mixture of relief and tension.

He nodded at Luo Fei.

Luo Fei walked to the front of the line and put his hands on the shoulders of the academician and Captain Lei.

With a thought, everyone disappeared from the conference room.

The next second, they were already in the valley of Tigab.

In the sky, only that large, gray-black satellite remained, hanging forlornly.

Someone let go, squatted down, and touched the ferns on the ground.

Someone looked up at the large satellite in the sky, their mouth slightly agape.

Someone turned around and gazed at the distant volcano, their eyes reflecting the flowing red lava.

Someone took a deep breath, but couldn't help coughing twice because they weren't used to the air here.

The soldiers quickly dispersed to the surrounding area and raised their guns to stand guard.

The gray-haired academician stood at the front, still tightly clutching the quantum communication device in his hand.

He looked around at this unfamiliar, desolate yet vibrant land, then turned to face Luo Fei.

He looked into Luo Fei's eyes and reached out to shake Luo Fei's hand.

Luo Fei released his grip and turned to Captain Lei, instructing, "Set up the accommodations first, and their safety is your responsibility."

Captain Lei saluted and replied firmly, "Mission accomplished!"

Luo Fei nodded, released their luggage and several trucks, and then disappeared from Tiga B with a thought.

The academician stood in the valley, his outstretched hand still suspended in mid-air.

He withdrew his hand, put it in his pocket, and turned around to look at the experts and scholars behind him.

They were all waiting for his instructions; more than a hundred people, more than a hundred pairs of eyes.

He finally spoke, his voice reaching everyone's ears: "Everyone, let's get to work."
