Chapter 75 Guild Hall

"Let's head to the tavern now. I've had enough of dark bread and wheat porridge."

Linsset turned to walk out of the hall when "Broken Arrow" suddenly grabbed him.

"Captain, don't worry. Do you remember the guild in the city where you could exchange 100 points for some good stuff?"

"Oh right, there's such a thing."

In the original owner's memories, the guild members once mentioned that adventurers who reached 100 points could receive some rewards from guilds in various major cities.

I should have enough points for "Broken Arrow," but unfortunately I only have 96 points right now, which is a little short. But it's just a matter of doing a task.

"The reward is on the second floor, so let's go upstairs and take a look, but we need to queue up and get permission first."

There were quite a few people moving around in the guild hall, but there weren't many people queuing at the service counter. Lin Sai and his companion chose the shortest queue, which only had two people.

They were greeted by a brown-haired halfling girl who looked like a new employee who had just started working there.

The two handed over their adventurer badges: "We want to exchange them for some guild reward items."

"Okay, please wait a moment."

The halfling staff member then opened a thick book next to the counter and looked it up.

"Now I understand why there are so few people in this line of work," Broken Arrow whispered to Linssey.

However, it didn't take too long. After finding something in the thick book, the other party immediately closed the book, put the nameplate into the machine, and then placed his hand on a gem on the back of the machine.

Linsel noticed that this machine was different from the one in Linchui Town; it had an extra purple gem embedded on the outside.

"Broken Arrow" Brinnan, your score has reached 100, qualifying you to enter the second-floor reward area. However, "Wolf Slayer" Linsel, your score is currently 4 points short, and you cannot enter at this time."

Even if you don't have 100 points, you still have to walk to get in.

"Captain, so you didn't get enough points. That's a little embarrassing, but it was only a little short."

This is my first time entering the guild's reward area. I've heard there are lots of good stuff there, including skill books. I'm really looking forward to it.

Seeing "Broken Arrow's" excited expression, Linsel was also filled with curiosity about the items in the guild reward area.

"Brinan, you've been on this adventure longer than me, so why are you still so impatient? Go ahead, you can go upstairs and see what's inside. I'll wait for you in the lobby on the first floor."

"good!"

After retrieving his nameplate, "Broken Arrow" hurriedly went up the stairs to the second floor.

Are we still 4 points short?

Linsel had unknowingly returned to the task list, looking for tasks that suited him.

The Iron-level quest involves delivering goods to Fidenas Village, which is only a few dozen kilometers east of Wind and City. It's a bit far, but it only costs 4 points, so you might consider it.

As Linsel was staring at the quest, six Iron-rank adventurers took the quest book from their quest logs.

Was it snatched up first? Then we'll just have to find something else.

Hunting down a horde of ghouls roaming the outskirts of the primeval forest, bronze level... are they lurking inside the primeval forest? That seems a bit too dangerous.

Lindsay changed to another one, and he thought the next task was pretty good.

To resolve the conflict between the herb garden and the refugees.

--------

Mission: Go to the herb garden south of Wind and City and drive away the refugees who have invaded the area. Bronze level, 2 days, minimum 3 people required.

Compensation: 8 silver coins and 6 points per person.

Note: The number of refugees fleeing to Wind and City has been increasing recently, and they have formed a sizable group outside the city.

The herbalist in the herb garden has been driven out by a group of unruly refugees. An investigation revealed that they have occupied the herb garden for several days, severely impacting the cultivation of medicinal materials. Now, please expel these refugees from the herb garden. If any of them resist, you may deal with them as appropriate.

--------

The Bronze-level mission is just about driving away refugees, and the reward is relatively low for a Bronze-level mission. It's not too difficult.

The only problem is that the task requires at least three people to complete.

Linssey planned to take on the mission and recruit another person after "Broken Arrow" came down from upstairs.

"Hello, I'm 'Iron Spear,' are you interested in this herb garden quest, young werewolf?"

Linsel turned around to see a stranger speaking to him from behind. The man was about the same height as him, wearing chainmail and carrying a long, pointed spear.

Judging from the silver nameplate on his shoulder, he was a Silver-rank adventurer.

What a coincidence, a new person of interest has appeared! Linsel silently opened the panel.

【"Iron Spear", Human, Level 3 Warrior, Health: 85/85, Armor: 150/150 (Long Chainmail)】

"Yes, I'm planning to take on this mission with my teammates."

How many teammates do you have?

"Three."

"That's perfect. I'm a solo adventurer, how about we go on this quest together?"

A strange silver-rank adventurer wanted to go on a mission with him? Linsel was suspicious.

After all, this is Wind City, unlike in Forest Town, where many adventurers were well-known in the original owner's memories, and it was easy to tell at a glance whether they were locals or outsiders.

It's impossible to predict what unfamiliar adventurer teammates might do, especially high-level adventurers like him. But why would a silver-level adventurer be doing a bronze-level quest?

"Hello, Silver-ranked senior, I am 'Wolf Slayer,' and I'd like to understand your motivation for undertaking this Bronze-ranked quest."

The adventurer, whose title was "Iron Spear," touched his forehead and said, "It's simple. I'm broke lately. To be honest, I'm so poor right now that I don't even have a few silver coins to my name."

Linsel reached for the money pouch at his waist, which contained some silver and copper coins. He had counted them before; after the last mission to exterminate the goblin raiders, he had spent a lot of money and currently had 37 silver coins left.

"I see."

"Hey, are you guys teaming up? How about you include me?"

It came from behind Linse again, a deep and forthright female voice.

Lindsay and "Iron Spear" looked at the person. The woman wore a bronze adventurer's badge, was burly, and a little taller than Lindsay. She wore an unknown animal skin outfit and wielded two one-handed machetes. She looked incredibly strong.

"I am the 'Daughter of Beast Blood,' and as my title suggests, orc blood flows in my veins. You will accompany me on missions, and I will guarantee your safety!"

【"Beastblood Daughter", Human, Level 2 Barbarian, Health: 90/90, Armor: 50/50 (Rough Hide Armor)】
