Chapter 85 Flesh Golem

Lindsay opened the panel.

[Flesh Golem, Monster, Health: 220/220, Armor: 0]

There were five clumps of grayish-red, bloody flesh in front of them, and their name was Flesh Golem.

Perhaps this disgusting thing possesses some new monster abilities.

"Broken Arrow" fired an arrow at one of the golems, and the arrow instantly pierced into the enemy's flesh, seemingly without much killing power.

The flesh golem was unaffected; it moved slowly, leaving a trail of blood and water in its wake.

"Let me give it a try."

Linsel loaded his crossbow, aimed at the top of the flesh golem, and fired.

The crossbow bolt flew out and hit the golem's head. The golem was jolted backward by the impact, but then bounced back to its original position.

It seems that the part of the enemy's body that looks like a human head is a fake head, not a vital part.

At this moment, the dozens of cultists who were fighting the guards saw the flesh golems join the battle. They all took the opportunity to break away from the fight, leaving behind several corpses, and retreated behind the five golems.

"Broken Arrow" stood there anxiously: "Sir Knight, bows and crossbows don't seem to work on these disgusting, fleshy monsters. What should we do?"

Karina quickly summoned Linsel, the three adventurers, and the guards to her side: "These lumps of flesh are summoned by the cultists. Don't worry, just use your spears and swords to break them apart!"

She then took out three small test tubes of medicine from her small wallet and gave one to each of the three men.

"This is holy water given by the church. If you feel powerless to defeat those monsters, sprinkle the holy water on them!"

Linsel frowned as he looked at the small bottle of holy water in his hand, which was less than the width of his palm.

To make this limited amount of holy water effective, it must be thrown precisely at the flesh golem from a close distance, without any mistakes.

"Holy water? I have that too!"

"Iron Spear" also took out a small bottle of something similar from his body, making a total of four small bottles of holy water.

"Let me try it first."

With a gun in one hand and holy water in the other, he rushed to a golem a short distance away from the other four golems, popped the cork with his thumb, and poured out the holy water.

Linsel saw the flesh golem's exterior emitting white smoke as if it were being burned, while simultaneously making a corroding sound.

The golem's body is rapidly disintegrating.

"Iron Spear" seized the opportunity and thrust his spear wildly at the parts scalded by the holy water, creating several large holes in the golem's flesh.

Lince saw the opponent's health on the panel rapidly decreasing due to the holy water, and then instantly dropping to 0 due to the "Iron Spear" piercing.

After a few seconds, it finally couldn't support its broken body any longer and began to swell repeatedly in all directions, as if it were about to burst open.

"Jump away! That lump of flesh looks like it's about to explode!"

"Iron Spear" was already on guard. After firing a few shots, he quickly fell backward. Just as the female knight had warned him, the flesh golem exploded in all directions.

Several chunks of flesh shot out at extremely high speed, and at that moment, two cultists standing behind were unfortunately hit by the flesh.

They were knocked down by the impact, and the parts of their bodies that had been hit by the golem's flesh began to corrode.

"Ahhh..." The screams of the two cultists reached Lindsay's ears. They were struggling and spinning on the ground, in great pain.

This golem can even self-destruct? It's immune to ranged damage, explodes when destroyed, and its flesh has a corrosive effect, making it a real pain to deal with.

"Guards, do you see those cultists? Go around those golems and deal with them, interrupt the ritual. Leave these lumps of flesh to me and the adventurers!"

Karina ordered the guards to retreat and circle around the enemy, while she slowly advanced and pushed towards a golem.

Linsel glanced towards the cave entrance and saw that the cultists who had retreated behind the golem were now all facing inwards, surrounding the ritual circle, holding weapons and remaining silent.

Alright, alright. Since they're holding a ceremony right in front of us, let's follow the female knight's instructions and have the guards disrupt their ceremony!

Lindsay and his two companions understood that although these golems were slow, they still had to be kept in check and could not be ignored.

It would be best to eliminate these golems to avoid any unexpected trouble.

Although one has been dealt with, the remaining four golems are still crawling towards Linse.

Lindsay drew Brand's sword, "Broken Arrow" wielded a dagger, and "Iron Spear" still held a spear. Together with the female knight, they each engaged in one-on-one battles with the four flesh golems.

Fortunately, these golems are not only slow, but their attacks are also slow, so even a novice adventurer can dodge them.

That makes things easier.

Linsel swung his Brand sword and slashed at the golem in front of him, the sword getting stuck a short distance inside the flesh.

He swiftly drew his transforming two-handed sword, easily dodging the golem's claws and attacks from the rough wooden club, and once again slashed along the gap he had just cut.

This time, he cut almost halfway down, but he discovered that the two fleshy areas that had been cut through the golem's outer surface began to re-adhere and recover after touching each other!

Is it necessary to use holy water to quickly defeat this enemy?

On the other side, "Broken Arrow" dodged the attacks of chunks of flesh from left and right, while constantly stabbing with his dagger, but the effect was not very good either.

He sprinkled holy water on the golem, which slowly began to cause some significant damage.

"I can only keep the chunk of meat occupied and distract it. Captain, hurry!"

The female knight Karina gripped her hand-and-a-half sword with both hands, slashing incessantly like Lindsay, but unlike him, she was making continuous swings, giving the chunks of flesh no chance to reassemble.

Linsel noticed out of the corner of his eye that although the female knight's move was very tiring, it was also quite effective. So he imitated her and used his long-handled sword to increase the speed of his slashes.

"This is so troublesome." After firing a few shots, the Silver-ranked adventurer "Iron Spear" jumped back, creating a little distance between himself and the enemy.

He held a long spear, the pointed tip of which flashed slightly, influencing the flow of the surrounding air at the spear tip, giving the air color and shape, a swirling silver-white light enveloping the spear tip.

"Meteor Spear!"

He roared and thrust forward, his spear piercing straight through the flesh golem, while the tip of the spear began to spin rapidly.

Then, the moment "Iron Spear" fell to the ground, the golem exploded in all directions.
