After escaping from the restroom, Su Liu returned to the Kadokawa booth, which was covered with huge posters of "Date A Live" and "The Devil Is a Part-Timer!". Not far away on the otaku dance stage, a group of girls were dancing "Senbonzakura" in perfect unison.

The old venue of the Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center felt a bit cramped under such a large flow of people, with otaku sitting on the cement floor everywhere, busy exchanging postcards.

Chen Duling, who was originally here, has disappeared.

Su Liu looked around, his gaze sweeping over the rows of stalls filled with doujinshi and keychains, trying to find her.

"No way! Is that a cosplayer too?"

Not far away, a group of men and women were lining up in twos and threes, vying to take a photo with a man.

The man looked to be around 40 years old, with thinning hair and a receding hairline that stubbornly outlined an M shape. He was wearing a black leather jacket and dark suit pants, and stood there awkwardly, clearly at a loss for what to do, yet still trying to appear serious.

Su Liu walked over quickly and carefully examined the man, who was completely out of place with his surroundings from head to toe.

He looked like an old-fashioned geek, as if he might pull out a thermos at any moment, sipping his own tea while pointing and commenting on the monsters and demons he saw.

But it is perhaps this sense of incongruity that attracts one cosplayer after another to collect them.

"Alright, alright, stop filming!" the man reprimanded the people around him in a deep voice.

When this person put on a stern face, he exuded a kind of imposing, dignified aura.

Seeing that everyone else had already left, Su Liu went up to join in the fun.

The man had never seen such a bizarre scene in his life: a person wearing a yellow bodysuit and carrying a bag of fertilizer.

"Uncle, you're at your age and you're here to a comic convention?" Su Liu struck up a conversation.

The middle-aged man replied stiffly and awkwardly, "Just passing by, taking a look around."

"You need to buy a ticket to get in." Su Liu noticed his eyes darting around as he spoke, constantly glancing into the distance, and asked, "Are you looking for someone?"

The man seemed to have his secret exposed, and coughed a few times in an attempt to cover it up.

Su Liu immediately took advantage of the situation and started playing detective games.

"At your age, you're probably not here to find friends or a partner. Is it a son or a daughter?"

An impatient look appeared on the old-fashioned man's face. "This has nothing to do with you."

Sure enough, he was the parent who was troubled by his child's addiction to anime and manga.

"I want to advise you to give your child some space. Pushing too hard will only push him further away."

Su Liu is just that kind of person who loves to teach others.

"What do you know?" The man finally broke down, his tone agitated. "She's a senior in high school this year. Senior year is the most important year of a person's life. How can she waste her time on something like this?"

"You and your child must argue a lot at home, right?"

"I'm her father, isn't it my duty to discipline her?" the man retorted confidently.

"So people like you are the real culprits behind the problems in parent-child relationships in East Asia." Su Liu's voice carried a mysterious sense of justice.

"What? What did you say?!"

The man was stunned. The topic had suddenly escalated to such a high level, with grand narratives like "East Asian parent-child relationships," which left him feeling both bewildered and impressed.

What if there was no finish line in a relay race?

The man scratched his sparse hair, completely baffled as to what Su Liu was talking about.

"A relay race. Even if you're completely ignorant, you should at least know what a relay race is."

"I've seen it, so what?"

Su Liu pointed at him and asserted, "Your child is running a relay race that will last for decades and has no finish line. It's all your fault."

"Are you talking to me about education?"

"Now that you're here, why are you hesitating? Why don't you go inside and find him?"

"I, I..." The man stammered for a long time, his shoulders slumped, and he let out a long sigh, "She, she runs away as soon as she sees me."

"Hmm, I see." Su Liu stroked his chin. He had initially thought Su Liu was a domineering parent who came to the comic convention to arrest people. Now, seeing Su Liu's cautious and conflicted appearance, Su Liu seemed more like a bewildered old father.

"I have an idea," Su Liu said, a sudden inspiration striking him.

At the corner of the staircase, far from the central booth, Su Liu and the middle-aged man were like two secret agents plotting something.

"Is this... alright?" The man's voice held an extreme degree of uncertainty.

"Of course, that way no one will recognize you."

The middle-aged man was awkwardly wrapped in that bright yellow bodysuit, with his signature Jin Ke La woven bag over it; while Su Liu had changed into that slightly old-fashioned black leather jacket and dark suit pants.

"But this is...too improper."

"Now you can walk out and see your daughter without any worries, isn't that the most important thing?" Su Liu took out another mask and put it on him.

The man took a deep breath, as if he had made a solemn decision to sacrifice himself, and resolutely walked out.

"Finally!" Su Liu breathed a sigh of relief, finally turning back into a human from a banana.

To prevent him from secretly changing clothes in the exhibition hall, Chen Duling kept a close eye on his little movements from the morning onwards, and did not give him a chance to bring spare clothes into the venue.

Unfortunately, how could such a thing be difficult for Su Liu?

Now that he's back to human form, he should hurry up and show off in front of her. Su Liu, wearing a leather jacket that exudes an elder's aura, weaved through the crowd, searching everywhere for Chen Duling.

But after searching high and low, I still couldn't find it.

Just as he took out his phone to call Chen Duling, a commotion suddenly broke out in the distance.

Amid the noisy crowd, cheers and encouraging shouts could occasionally be heard.

What happened over there?

Su Liu felt the people around him converging in that direction like a river, so he followed the flow of people.

"Su Su!"

Chen Duling's voice suddenly pierced Su Liu's ears. Looking in the direction of the sound, Su Liu saw her frantically waving her hands in their direction. Damn it, she'd told her not to yell like that!

She ran quickly through the crowd, her face showing urgency!

"Why are you dressed like that? I just heard someone say that a guy named Jin Ke La was being chased over there. I thought it was you, I was so worried!"

"Huh? Who?" Su Liu scratched his head, wondering if that uncle had done something strange.

"Huh? If you're here, who's that Jin Ke La over there?" another clear voice rang out.

He then noticed that there was a familiar face following Chen Duling, the girl who had cosplayed as Kurumi Tokisaki earlier.

"...Ahem, let's hurry over and take a look." Su Liu immediately changed the subject.

The three of them followed the surging crowd and finally managed to squeeze to the source. There, in front of a booth, were layers upon layers of spectators, as if they were watching some grand spectacle.

Su Liu led Chen Duling and Tokisaki Kurumi through the crowd of onlookers to the innermost part of the area.

In the center of the crowd, a thin figure was chasing after Uncle Jin Ke La, who was wearing a yellow bodysuit, around the booth.

Su Liu looked up and realized it was the voyeur.

Oh no! His heart skipped a beat; this person had come for revenge.

"Hey, Jin Ke La! Fight back! Don't run!" Someone in the crowd, eager for a good show, shouted at the top of their lungs.

"Go, Uncle Jin Ke La! Don't let him catch you!"

The uncle, perhaps hearing the shouts of the crowd, actually began to confront them head-on.

As a domineering parent, he was truly something else. Facing an opponent much younger than himself, he not only quickly took control of the situation but even gradually gained the upper hand through sheer force.

"Golden Fertilizer!" Kurumi Tokisaki suddenly shouted from beside Su Liu, "Go for it, don't lose to him!"

She turned her head excitedly, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Su Liu and Chen Duling, "You definitely won't believe it, but he's my dad!"

Su Liu was taken aback. Ah, so that's how it is. Even disguised like this, his daughter could still recognize her father at a glance.

The farce eventually ended with the intervention of security forces, and both the man and the voyeur were expelled from the exhibition hall.

Kurumi Tokisaki followed her father with a beaming smile.
