Chapter 8: Must-Do Activities at the Hospital?
Suren stood in front of the wooden door, his brows furrowed.
He looked back down the corridor, which was pitch black.
Ross tensed instantly when he saw him suddenly turn around: "What's wrong, Mr. Suren?"
"Is something wrong? Or is there a monster lying in ambush?"
She's in last place right now; what if a monster appears behind her...?
Thinking of this, she couldn't help but shiver.
"Something's definitely not right, something's really not right."
Suren looked down the corridor, her tone cryptic, "There should be a group of warm and hospitable nurses here."
"Nurse...?"
Ross leaned closer to Suren, not daring to turn around at all.
"Yes, the kind of nurse who looks a bit abstract but has a great figure and can do robotic dance."
M1911 twirled in his hand, and Suren looked regretful, "I even saved some bullets to give them a physical examination."
Ross stared blankly at Suren's earnest complaint about why no monsters had appeared, completely bewildered.
How exactly does this man's brain work?
Weren't we here to find someone? Isn't it a good thing there are no monsters?!
Chrisbella, held in his arms, trembled and remained silent. She couldn't understand a word Suren was saying and could only frantically pray that this madman would forget her existence.
"never mind."
Suren sighed, looking utterly bored. "Let's go in and see the little girl."
"Ms. Ross, this is the end. You will soon be able to see your daughter."
He raised his leg and kicked the wooden door.
"Bang!"
The wooden door collapsed with a crash.
A burst of light exploded from inside the room, instantly engulfing everyone.
A chaotic and tragic scene flashed before everyone's eyes.
—This is Alessa's memory.
In the video, a thin, helpless little girl is surrounded in a corner by her classmates, who point at her and yell at her:
"A bastard without a father."
"Witch".
"..."
The scene shifts, and the little girl hides in the toilet out of fear, only to be spotted by the cleaning worker, Colin. In the dimly lit toilet stall, his lewd face and restless hands are everywhere.
The scene then shifts to a magnificent hall, where fervent believers hold torches aloft, and a woman in a bishop's robe stands on a high platform, loudly proclaiming judgment.
"There's no need to weep for the devil."
"We have won once again!"
That person was Chrisbella.
Behind her, the little girl was tied to a ladder, her whole body covered in wax, and flames rose from her ankles, quickly engulfing her.
The last thing I remember is the little girl with severe burns all over her body being taken to the hospital by the police.
She survived by sheer luck, but had to endure endless pain and the torment of changing dressings day after day in the hospital's basement.
Ultimately, hatred grew, darkness descended, and engulfed the entire town.
"call--"
The light faded, and the image disappeared.
Suren blinked, and the scene before her eyes changed.
This was a dilapidated underground ward, with black tar constantly seeping from the walls and the air filled with the smell of burnt flesh.
In the center of the room was a hospital bed covered by a dirty curtain.
Beneath the hospital bed was not the ground, but a constantly burning flame, as if the bed and the person on it had been scorched by the flames for decades.
Beside the hospital bed, a figure with an overwhelming presence stood silently.
A triangular helmet, a bare and muscular upper body stained with blood, and a giant sword standing upright in front of it.
Not long ago, Pyramid Head had slaughtered believers upstairs like cutting melons and vegetables, but now he stood guard by Alessa's bedside like a loyal knight.
"kindness……"
Suren raised an eyebrow as she watched this scene.
The nurses outside are gone, and the nurse who always took care of Alessa in the original story has been replaced by a woman with a triangular head. Why does this little girl always keep good things to herself?
Just then, a little girl dressed in blue emerged from the shadows.
Dark Alessa.
She looked at Suren, her tone questioning:
"Who are you? Why are you disrupting my plans?"
"Moreover, there is a familiar aura about you, an ancient, powerful scent that doesn't belong to humans."
"Maybe I have a special constitution from childhood."
Suren shrugged, not appearing reserved despite the fact that the other party was the final boss of Silent Hill.
"I'm here mainly for two things."
"First, I was asked by this lady to help her find her daughter."
Suren pointed to Ross behind her, who was still immersed in Alessa's memories, "Secondly, it's to find someone."
As he spoke, he handed Mary a photograph. "Have you seen this woman before?"
Dark Aresa didn't even glance at her; her dark eyes remained completely unmoved. "I've never seen this woman before."
Suren's expression remained unchanged as Alessa continued speaking.
"But I saw a man who entered Silent Hill a couple of days ago, seemingly searching for something, but he disappeared quickly."
Dark Alessa's voice was cold: "He didn't enter my world; he fell into the abyss of his own heart."
Suren narrowed her eyes slightly, a guess forming in her mind: "Any distinguishing features?"
Dark Alessa waved her hand, and an image appeared in mid-air.
In the video, a man with blond hair and wearing a green jacket is walking down a street, occasionally prying open the windows of cars on the side of the road to pick something up.
James Sunderland?
Suren watched his back as he collected supplies like in a game, and a smirk appeared on her lips.
Was he still dragged into this?
Silent Hill is too idealistic.
The sins and dark side within each person will reflect different inner worlds.
Alessa controls Silent Hill, a place of vengeance, while James...
This wife-murdering maniac has clearly entered his own world of atonement.
When James came to the firm to commission a task, he claimed that he had received a letter from his wife Mary, who had passed away three years earlier.
But as a time traveler, Suren knew very well that Mary did not die of illness, but was smothered to death by James with a pillow.
Unable to accept the fact afterward, James's overwhelmed grief caused him to automatically hide the memory and fabricate a lie that he could accept.
Ultimately, his inner darkness and guilt were drawn to Silent Hill, and he became completely immersed in it.
Even though James made a commission to the firm and didn't go to Silent Hill, he was still dragged into it by uncontrollable forces.
Composing herself, Suren looked at Dark Alessa: "Shall we make a deal?"
"Send me into this man's world, and at the same time return Sharon to this lady."
As he spoke, he lifted Chrisbella in his hand: "In exchange, this woman is yours."
Dark Alessa tilted her head, a playful glint in her eyes: "The worlds of Silent Hill are interconnected; sending you there would be easy for me."
"But... why should I make a deal with you?"
A cruelty beyond her years was revealed on her youthful face. "This woman is in your hands now. If I kill you, I can have her too."
As her words fell, the man with the triangular head, who had been standing quietly, slowly raised the large sword in front of him.
"Sizzle—"
The broadsword was dragged on the ground, sparks flying as the imposing figure took a step forward.
