Attendants were on the other side. The purple light net was no longer used to block the entrance; it had been replaced with a restrictive formation.

Several purple light nets spread down from different angles, completely confining the enormous creature's range of movement to a small area in the middle.

With each step it takes forward, a purple net comes from the side, wraps around its arm or leg, and pulls it back.

It can break free, but each time it takes a breath or two to break free.

These last few breaths are the window for Blue Knight and Margaret.

The group quickly developed a good working relationship.

The Blue Knight used silk threads to continuously create wounds on its body, each sword strike carrying a crimson aura. The attendants tightly confined its range of movement, while Margaret and the Great Ascended relentlessly attacked it from the outside.

But all the wounds are healing.

The Blue Knight's sword wound healed the fastest; once closed, the scar was completely invisible.

The crater created by the Great Ascendant was a little slower, but it only lasted a few more breaths before new flesh surged up from the edges and filled the hole.

Margaret's water needles, needless to say, cause extremely limited damage.

But what she wanted was not harm. One water needle after another pierced the flesh, and a large amount of water remained inside the body. Once it accumulated to a certain amount, she was confident that she could unleash a vicious attack in a very short time.

The Blue Knight finally found an opportunity during its seventh catapult launch.

The silk threads tightened simultaneously from four directions, and crimson sword energy flowed down the thin sword, slashing at the giant creature's ankle.

He slashed twice in quick succession.

Both legs were severed at the ankles, and the massive body, having lost its support, collapsed with a thud.

The servant and Margaret acted almost simultaneously.

The purple net tightened suddenly around the waist, and dozens of water blades conjured by Margaret simultaneously slashed in. The two forces attacked from both sides, forcefully cutting the behemoth in two at the waist.

The upper half crashed onto the bloody ground, splattering a large patch of dark red debris.

The Blue Knight landed ten paces away, the crimson sword aura still lingering. She stared at the two severed pieces, her rapier held horizontally in front of her, waiting to confirm the outcome.

No result came.

The moment those two severed pieces hit the ground, the flesh beneath their feet began to move.

A large amount of dark red flesh surged up from the ground and frantically clung to the two severed pieces.

Between the upper and lower halves, new flesh grew directly from the cut to the other side, first forming tendons, then covering with muscles, and finally the dark red membrane closed from both ends toward the middle.

Less than ten breaths.

It stood up again.

The two severed legs had long since grown back, and not a single scar remained on the severed waist.

It tilted its head, its two misaligned eyes staring at the Blue Knight for a moment, and its large mouth on its belly slowly opened, revealing a dense array of teeth inside.

The Blue Knight lowered his rapier by half an inch.

Unkillable.

Unless it is shredded to pieces in an instant, as long as its body can still touch the flesh and blood beneath its feet, it will have inexhaustible strength and will always be able to stand up again.

Adrian's holy light descended from above, barely blocking out the increasingly intense sense of oppression.

This time, however, the holy light was thinner than before. The old bishop had turned to a very late page in his scripture, his prayers were being recited at a slower pace, and his face was deathly pale.

The heartbeat grew deeper and deeper.

The heartbeat that came from the deepest part of their being landed solidly in everyone's mind, one beat after another, no longer the faint tremor of before.

With each heartbeat, the flesh inside the hollow rose and fell, and the imposing aura of that colossal creature increased accordingly.

He didn't make a second cut from beginning to end.

The bone sword was held horizontally in front of him, and his whole body was covered in bone armor, but only one of the two afterimages remained.

The other disappeared shortly after the battle began, silently and without anyone noticing where it went.

Klaus's gaze passed over the head of that enormous creature and landed in the deeper, impenetrable darkness.

The green light on the bone ring flashed twice in the extremely dim light.

Lu Yuan squatted down next to the fifth bronze pillar, his palms pressed firmly against the pillar surface, his forehead covered in sweat.

The thread deep within his consciousness, which held the first three fragments, was still trembling violently, but its direction remained unclear; he only knew that they were nearby.

But the phrase "nearby" becomes meaningless in this hollow space, with seven or eight bronze pillars leaning crookedly in all directions, any one of them could be there.

He had already touched the fifth one from the nearest one, pressing each one down and trying to feel it with his mind. He hadn't felt anything with the first four, and the same was true for the fifth one.

The sensation of the fragments ceased the moment the palm touched them, while the threads continued to point deeper.

Lu Yuan released his hand and looked up to scan the surroundings.

Within the area illuminated by the holy light, there were still two pillars left untouched: one half-buried in the flesh and blood of the wall, and the other diagonally inserted at the edge of the hollow, further away from the battlefield.

Further out, in the darkness where the holy light cannot reach, there may be more, but he cannot see them.

On the other side of the battlefield, the Blue Knight's silk threads drew arc after arc in the hollow.

Margaret's water control techniques gradually took effect; more and more water accumulated inside the thing, and she was already able to trip it up by pulling on its movements.

The Ascended Ones' weapons came in turn, and taking advantage of a lull, he had already cut two pieces of flesh from the creature and put them into the box.

The behemoth had been cut in half and pieced back together, but for now, a few people could still hold it down, and it looked like it could last for a while longer.

Lu Yuan didn't stop; he got up and ran towards the pillar that was half-buried in flesh and blood.

He pressed his palm against the pillar, where the flesh and blood were sticky and hot. He moved his hand down two inches and found a small piece of bronze that hadn't been covered yet. He lowered his consciousness into it, and the thread trembled and broke again. There wasn't another one.

When Lu Yuan pulled his hand away, a strand of black, sticky liquid came out from his fingertips.

He frowned and flung it away, his gaze sweeping over the last pillar that was slanted into the edge of the hole.

The one furthest away, separated by a large patch of flesh and blood, was just outside the boundary covered by the servant's purple light net.

He ran over, squatted down, and pressed down on the pillar.

still none.

I checked all seven pillars, but there wasn't a single fragment.

Lu Yuan squatted on the spot, his heart sinking.

The thread was still trembling, pointing directly downwards. The fourth fragment lay beneath this void, out of his reach.

Just then, his gaze fell upon something.

Klaus originally had two afterimages, but now only one remains by his side. The other one is now silently moving into the darkness, clinging to the wall at the deepest part of the cave.

The afterimage moved extremely slowly, inching along the fleshy wall, almost blending into the darkness behind it. If Lu Yuan hadn't been crouching at this angle, he wouldn't have seen it at all.

Lu Yuan stared at the afterimage for a moment and immediately understood Klaus's plan.

Klaus was heading down, and the afterimage was scouting ahead for him, acting as an anchor. Lu Yuan remembered Klaus's seemingly teleporting ability; now he realized it must have been the afterimage acting as an anchor point.

The fragment was also down there. Klaus was determined to go even deeper.

Without further hesitation, Lu Yuan turned and ran towards Klaus.

In the very center of the battlefield, the silk threads surrounding the Blue Knight suddenly tightened, binding the enormous creature's left arm. It struggled twice in confusion, the threads trembling, but it didn't break.

The Blue Knight seemed to have nails stuck to its feet, managing to hold onto its left arm with sheer force.

The enormous creature seemed somewhat displeased. Its massive maw opened sharply towards the Blue Knight, and a deep roar erupted from its mouth.

Margaret's water blade pierced through from the side, cutting a deep gash in its ribs.

A large amount of water rushed into its body through the wound, and half of its body visibly swelled up, with water surging and crashing inside its body.

Margaret continued to manipulate the water, allowing it to seep deeper into its body, slowing its movements as much as possible.

Klaus did not look at the battlefield.

His gaze fell into the darkness at the depths of the void, as if sensing something. The green light on the bone ring flashed a few times, and the vanished afterimage finally stopped somewhere he couldn't see.

"You guys hold them off."

Klaus suddenly spoke, his voice not loud.

The Blue Knight paused for a moment while manipulating the silk threads, and the Great Ascended One's pupils turned as well. This command was too unusual.

Right now, the group is completely unable to kill this enormous, special entity. If Klaus hadn't kept delaying the retreat, they would have run away long ago.

Before anyone could react, a figure darted in from the side.

Lu Yuan ran to Klaus's side, panting and bent over. Before he could say a word, Klaus had already looked down at him.

Why are you following me?

"I have to go down with you." Lu Yuan took a couple of breaths, keeping his words brief and offering no further explanation.

Klaus stared at him for a moment, lost in thought.

But since Lu Yuan said that, he must have his reasons.

Bringing down a second-tier opponent would definitely be a burden, but considering Lu Yuan's somewhat mysterious methods...

Klaus's eyes flickered, and the bone armor tightened by half an inch.

"Stay close."

Without saying anything more, he grabbed Lu Yuan's arm.

The next moment, Lu Yuan's vision suddenly went black.

His body was enveloped by an immense force, and all he could hear was the sound of the wind and the creaking of the bone armor.

He couldn't see anything, nor could he step on anything. He was being dragged and rushed in a certain direction.

Less than a breath.

He regained his sense of solidity beneath his feet. Lu Yuan suddenly opened his eyes and found himself standing in a completely unfamiliar place.

The battlefield was gone. The Blue Knight, Margaret, Adrian, and that colossal creature were all gone. All that remained were walls of writhing flesh and a stench ten times stronger than before.

Klaus's afterimage stood three steps away, slowly dissipating. They had entered a deeper area.

On the other side of the battlefield, the Blue Knight was the first to react.

She glanced back at the spot where Klaus had just stood; it was now empty, and Lu Yuan was no longer there.

The two disappeared at the same time, leaving no trace.
