I can see experience bars after being transported to another world.

The hall was bustling with people, and the noise was quite loud.

As soon as Lu Yuan walked in, his first reaction was to look up. The hall was very tall, with no windows visible overhead; all the light came from the huge crystal chandelier above.

Something inexplicable was burning inside the lamp, and many lamps made of electrical appliances hung around the room. The light shone down, illuminating the specially arranged decorations clearly, making the place feel less oppressive.

On both sides of the hall were arched passageways, with entrances leading to various rooms that stretched deeper into the mountain. Lu Yuan stood there for a moment, looking at them, but couldn't tell where they led.

Directly in front, there was a curved wooden counter, behind which stood several senior students, all wearing the Knight Academy badge on their chests, each busy with something.

Lu Yuan even saw a familiar face.

Lia was standing in front of the counter, slightly turned to the side, talking to a girl in front of her about something, and it looked like she wouldn't be able to finish for a while.

Lu Yuan didn't rush over. As soon as he stood in the hall, his sense of incongruity came over him. Everyone around him was busy, their steps quickening, but he just looked around, finding nothing to do.

This appearance immediately caught the attention of a female student at the counter.

She quickly walked around the counter to Lu Yuan's side, led him to a chair in front of the counter, and then asked, "Excuse me, are you here to accept a mission?"

"Yes," Lu Yuan handed over his mission log and badge together. "The guard at the front gate said that I would know what to do once I came in, and that someone would guide me on what to do."

The senior student took the task sheet, her eyes first falling on it, then looking down at the mark on the badge, her eyes immediately lighting up.

Two intermediate certifications.

When she looked at Lu Yuan again, her tone became more respectful. "Our mission has already begun. You'll need to wait here for a moment. A knight in charge of this project will assign you a task shortly. You can follow me."

Just as Lu Yuan was about to nod, a familiar voice suddenly broke in from the side.

"Hey, Lu Yuan, you're here too," Lia said, looking over at him with a hint of surprise in her eyes. "You got a mission too?"

"Yes," Lu Yuan nodded with a smile, "After passing the certification, I came here to take on some missions and earn some Knight Tokens."

Leah leaned closer, looked at the quest bar in his hand, then at the mark on his badge, and a look of surprise appeared on her face.

"It's true you know inscription, but I didn't expect you could also make medicine," she looked Lu Yuan up and down again. "Wow, you're amazing. You've been hiding this for a long time."

As she spoke, her eyes narrowed, a look of "you've been hiding your true feelings" landing on Lu Yuan's face. She slowly moved closer, her voice lowering, "Why did you take this mission?"

Lu Yuan frowned slightly. "What do you mean? Is this mission really that difficult or impossible to accept?"

Lia didn't answer immediately. She pulled Lu Yuan to his feet, moved to the side, and walked until they reached a secluded corner before stopping.

The senior student at the counter didn't rush her or bother her; she just waited quietly in place.

"Let me tell you," Leah said in a low voice, "I heard from the two knights in charge of my missions that your two missions involve heretics brought from the North, some wounded patients, and some potions they use."

"Those patients are acting very strangely. Their pathways seem to have been forcibly distorted by something, and the medicine they're using is highly contaminated. If you're going to participate in this mission, perhaps..."

She didn't finish her sentence, but the meaning was already clear.

Lu Yuan raised an eyebrow. He hadn't expected that Lia knew some of the inside information. He immediately asked a few more questions, "How did you know? Did the knight instruct you to do this?"

Leah hesitated for a moment, then spoke, slowing her pace.

"I participated in some exclusive missions of the Knight Academy. These missions are located in the Inscription Zone of the Tower of Hell, where you might come into contact with some unpleasant things. So my two knight teachers specifically gave me some instructions."

"They told me not to get involved with those heretics, because there's still no way to deal with the contamination they've caused. All the Knight Academy can do now is try to find people who have passed intermediate-level pharmacy and inscription certifications to reverse engineer those things and try to solve the contamination caused by the heretics, but the results are not ideal."

"If you're going to participate in this mission, you must be very careful."

After listening, Lu Yuan's eyes slowly narrowed.

It seems that Oden's prediction was correct, and the gray text hints were also correct. He probably already guessed what he should do next.

But that doesn't mean he's going to give up.

He has expertise in this area, which is perfect for testing various medicinal herbs and obtaining more formulas. If he does well, he should be able to earn a lot of Knight Tokens.

As for the path being distorted, Lu Yuan didn't believe that such a thing would happen to him. Forbidden studies were not comparable to other studies. More importantly, he also possessed the Sea of Knowledge.

What's there to be afraid of?

Of course, this does not mean he can act recklessly.

Seeing that he had taken his words to heart and was seriously considering them, Lia breathed a slight sigh of relief.

She didn't want Lu Yuan to get himself into trouble because of this kind of mission.

As long as nothing goes wrong, the people who came with her in the same year will definitely be her friends in the future, and they can help each other with many things. For both public and private reasons, she doesn't want Lu Yuan to have any problems.

"Yes, it's good that you know what I mean."

Leah waved to him, indicating that she had to leave first.

She was going to participate in a project of the Knight Academy, which couldn't be revealed, so she didn't tell Lu Yuan. Lu Yuan understood and didn't ask any further questions.

Lia turned and walked a few steps, then looked back at him again before merging into the crowd in the hall.

Lu Yuan withdrew his gaze, turned around, and walked back to the counter.

The senior student at the counter was still standing there waiting, without the slightest impatience on her face. When she saw him return, she asked first, "Did you explain everything clearly? Is there nothing else?"

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Lu Yuan nodded.

The senior student led Lu Yuan towards a curved passage on the right side of the hall, explaining things to him as they walked.

"Your mission this time is the latest one issued by the academy. A knight in charge of this mission will hand it over to you later. When you come back, just follow the knight's instructions. You don't need to report to our front desk. Of course, if you have any questions, you can come to our front desk staff at any time. We will provide assistance at any time."
