Journey to the West: Upon seeing the Yellow-Eyebrowed Demon, why not pay homage?

Chapter 25: Caught in the middle, powerless to control one's own destiny!

Black Wind Mountain.

Black Wind Cave.

The Dragon Girl slammed the Black Bear Demon heavily to the ground and said coldly, "Do you know what to do next?"

The black bear spirit hurriedly held up the cassock with both hands, his face beaming with smiles and his tone obsequious: "Master, this cassock is for you."

Sudhana and the Dragon Girl shook their heads: "Do you know where this robe came from?"

The black bear spirit paused for a moment, then asked, "Is there some hidden story?"

"Simply put, this robe was bestowed upon the Tripitaka Master by Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva; how can I, as the Bodhisattva's right-hand attendant, accept it?" said Sudhana.

Black Bear Spirit: "..."

He suddenly realized that the pool was much deeper than he had imagined.

Moreover, I was blind in this pool of water and knew nothing about it before being thrown in.

"Master, what should I do next?"

Coming to his senses, and suppressing the chill in his heart, the black bear spirit asked with a devout expression.

"The best course of action is for you to leave the cassock in the cave and come with me immediately. This is also the main reason why I brought you back to Black Wind Cave."

"The worst course of action is for you to wait here for those two to come and collect their debt, then, after being defeated, offer them the brocade robe with both hands and beg them to spare your life," the Dragon Girl Sudhana replied.

The black bear spirit hesitated, "Leave with you? Where to?"

He hadn't forgotten the awful things he'd done, and he was sure the other person wouldn't be completely unperturbed either.

Therefore, I worry that this journey might be a one-way trip!

Just as Sudhana was about to say that he had an affinity with Buddhism, she suddenly sensed two figures flying down in front of the cave. She hurriedly took out a willow branch, stuck it to the stone door, and sighed:

"It's too late. You only had a few breaths to make a decision, and you missed it."

The black bear thought to itself: Isn't that because it's afraid of your revenge?

"Clang, clang, clang..."

Outside the cave.

Sun Wukong raised his golden cudgel and pounded on the black stone gate, gazing at the emerald light emanating from it, and said, "Sudhana, Dragon Girl, aren't you afraid that associating with demons will tarnish the reputation of Guanyin Bodhisattva?"

Sudhana raised her head and said, "Great Sage, although this demon was wrong in one thought, he also possesses Buddha-nature. That is why I saved him and prepared to convert him."

"How about this? I'll act as a mediator and resolve your dispute. I'll get him to return the robe to you, and you can forgive him this time."

"Spare him? What about my score?" Huang Mei suddenly asked.

Sudhana Dragon Girl: "..."

She couldn't answer that question.

After all, Huang Mei fought against the nearly insane Black Bear Demon to save her, and almost lost his life in the process.

In fact, if it weren't for the Bodhisattva's decree, she really wouldn't want to care about the life or death of the Black Bear Spirit anymore!

Black Bear glanced nervously at the Dragon Girl, then took a deep breath and asked in a low voice, "What do you think of the one outside?"

Huang Mei said, "Return the cassock, bow your head and submit, kowtow and admit your mistake."

"Impossible, absolutely impossible!" the black bear spirit declared resolutely.

Of the three things the other party requested, he could only accept the first one at most.

"Then there's nothing more to say," Huang Mei said indifferently.

The black bear spirit looked helplessly at the Dragon Girl Sudhana, pleading for help: "Master, please think of another way."

Sudhana Dragon Girl: "..."

She did this lousy job against her will!

After much deliberation, the Dragon Girl slowly said, "Sun Wukong bears a great responsibility entrusted by Heaven and cannot wait here for long."

The only option now is to wait for Sanzang to come and take him away.

Once Huang Mei loses Sun Wukong's assistance, your current predicament can be resolved.

The black bear spirit secretly breathed a sigh of relief: "So, it turns out the advantage is actually still with us!"

Time flies, and the sun and moon pass by.

Two days and one night passed in the blink of an eye. Sun Wukong grew increasingly impatient and couldn't help but say to Huang Mei:

"Brother, it seems they're determined to be cowards. Should I go to the South China Sea and invite the Bodhisattva over? Once the Bodhisattva arrives, this situation will surely be resolved."

"this……"

Huang Mei feigned hesitation, but secretly transmitted his voice, saying, "Wukong, I have a plan."

Sun Wukong blinked and secretly asked via telepathy, "What do you mean?"

Huang Mei thought to himself, "You're using the excuse that the pilgrimage can't be delayed to pretend to have a big fight with me."

Then I stormed off and went to Guanyin Temple to bring Susu with me.

She was far more skilled in transformation than I was, so I had her transform into Guanyin to trick me into opening the stone door.

"Of course, you'll also need to cooperate with me. After I leave, immediately pluck a hair from your head, transform it into a little monkey, and send the other side to the South China Sea to seek help!"

Hearing this, Sun Wukong suppressed his excitement and quietly agreed. He then began to act, saying in a deep voice, "Brother, don't hesitate. You can wait, but I can't!"

Huang Mei's expression changed drastically, and he coldly retorted, "What do you mean you can't wait?"

Sun Wukong said helplessly, "You forgot, I, Old Sun, still have a mission to retrieve the scriptures."

Huang Mei retorted, "Is brotherhood less important than this damned pilgrimage mission?"

Sun Wukong said, "Brotherhood is important, but the mission to obtain the scriptures is just as important."

Moreover, the Bodhisattva is a good person, and I don't understand why you are so opposed to this.

"She's nice to you, so you think she's a good person. But she's never been nice to me, so of course I don't think she's a good person."

The Dragon Girl Sudhana inside is her close attendant. If I invite her here, she will definitely side with the other side. How can I take revenge then?

Huang Mei glared and spoke, his face full of irritation.

Sun Wukong scratched his cheek and said, "Please, just try to understand me, okay?"

Huang Mei stared intently at him: "Fine, fine, I won't make things difficult for you!"

After saying that, he turned around and transformed into a golden light, disappearing swiftly into the horizon.

Sun Wukong sighed and, as planned, plucked a hair from his body, which transformed into a small monkey: "Go to the South Sea and invite Guanyin Bodhisattva to come here."

The little monkey nodded, then suddenly transformed into a golden light and vanished in an instant.

Inside the cave.

The black bear spirit let out a long breath and grinned, "Just as the sorcerer predicted, Sun Wukong can't afford to delay at all!"

Unlike this fellow, the Dragon Girl felt a vague unease.

But no matter how she reviewed the situation, she couldn't find any clues.

After all, Sun Wukong couldn't afford to wait any longer, and Huang Mei truly wanted revenge.

When ideologies clash, aren't they bound to be like fire and water?

After a long while.

Radiating white light, Guanyin, with an otherworldly and ethereal aura, descended slowly from the void: "Wukong."

"Greetings, Bodhisattva."

Sun Wukong's fiery eyes immediately recognized the Bodhisattva's true form, but he clasped his hands together and bowed in worship.

Bai Susu nodded slightly and handed a wisp of hair to the other person: "I already know about the matter, you may step back."

"Yes."

Sun Wukong obediently stepped aside and watched as the fake Bodhisattva came to the door.

"Pengzhu, why aren't you opening the door?" Bai Susu asked.

The Dragon Girl with Good Fortune raised her hand and put away the willow branch, then turned to look at the Black Bear Spirit.

The black bear spirit understood immediately, abruptly opened the door, and then pounced on Bai Susu, raising his cassock with both hands, saying:

"Greatly Compassionate Guanyin Bodhisattva, Black Wind is willing to take refuge in the Buddha!"
