The glory of the past is gone, and the glory of the future is yet to come.

The Buddhist community can only have one ancestor of all Buddhas, and that is the present Buddha, Tathagata!

Donglai Buddha saw right through his little scheme, but didn't care, and smiled, "What is it?"

"The Buddha has summoned me," Ananda said softly.

Donglai Buddha raised an eyebrow and waved his hand, saying, "Lead the way."

The Buddha calmly said, "So much time has passed, has the Future Buddha uncovered the hidden truth about Huang Mei?"

Not stealing is one of the five fundamental precepts of Buddhism. If someone steals your treasures, they are a false Buddha who has become a demon; you cannot let this go unchecked.

Donglai Buddha shook his head: "Huangmei is my successor. If nothing unexpected happens, the entire Tushita Heavenly Court will belong to him in the future, and those treasures will naturally follow suit. How can taking what is yours be considered stealing?"

Turning around suddenly, one sees Guanyin with a faint smile on her face, leading an old Buddha statue slowly inside.

"Ancient Buddha," Tathagata greeted politely.

"Venerable One," Dipankara replied gently.

"Take a seat." Tathagata waved his sleeve, and a golden lotus platform instantly appeared beside the Buddha of the East.

Dipankara slowly stepped onto the lotus platform and greeted the Buddha from the East, saying, "Maitreya."

"I have met the ancient Buddha." The smile returned to the face of the Buddha of the East, but his voice was indifferent.

He was quick-witted and understood the other party's intentions; it was already quite respectable of him to greet them with a smile.

Randeng said, "Guanyin has already told me the whole story. Maitreya, in this world, everything must be done with a legitimate reason and a just cause."

"Now, let me ask you this: Huang Mei descended to the mortal realm, a false Buddha transformed into a demon, and interfered in the Journey to the West. Who authorized him? What's his purpose?"

The Buddha Donglai was seething with anger, but outwardly remained composed, shaking his head and saying, "No!"

"If there's no plan, how can it work?" Ran Deng pressed.

The Buddha from the East remained silent.

This is something he cannot solve either.

Moreover, when the present Buddha and the past Buddha reach an agreement, and he is in the wrong, how can he continue to insist?

"If the Buddha of the East is unwilling to harm his disciple, I can help you capture him," Guanyin said with a smile.

This is the happiest moment for her recently, even if it comes at the cost of her dignity and face!

Donglai Buddha shook his head and said, "No need for the Bodhisattva to take action, nor for the World Honored One to worry. I will go and find Huangmei to find out the situation!"

The Buddha knew he couldn't push him any further; if things really came to a head, it would only make him a laughingstock to outsiders.

"If that's the case, then I, along with the ancient Buddha Guanyin, will wait here for your news."

"Yes." Donglai Buddha sighed inwardly, then turned and transformed into a rainbow and departed.

Under normal circumstances, the Buddha of the East would not appear before him in his original form.

Huang Mei's heart skipped a beat: "What does this mean?"

The Buddha from the East said, "I never expected that Guanyin would admit that she is inferior to you and stop fighting you in secret. Instead, she went directly to Tathagata and, on the grounds that her name is not legitimate, joined forces with Dipankara Buddha to put pressure on me."

If it were only Tathagata, I could manage. But with Dipankara Buddha added, I am truly...

However, you don't need to despair or be pessimistic.

I've thought of a solution for you. You can go from the open to the covert, train subordinates, and let them take over the missions for you.
