Chapter 81 Diana, The Showdown

"Of course," Diana smiled. "I watched you grow up, how could I let you go alone at a time like this?"

Clark nodded. "Thank you, Aunt Diana. Let's go."

The two flew together toward Zod's spaceship, their figures captured by satellites and cameras around the world, and then broadcast to every corner of the globe.

People saw a person in a blue suit and a woman holding a shield flying towards the three huge alien spaceships. At that moment, countless people were shocked.

There are actually such supernatural humans in the world.

On Zod's spaceship, General Zod stood in the command room, looking at the two people flying in through the huge porthole.

Standing beside him was a female adjutant named Fiora, who was also wearing black armor.

"He is Jor-El's son," Fiora said coldly. "He looks no different from an Earthling, but Kryptonian blood flows in his veins."

General Zod's gaze was fixed on Clark: "Who is that woman next to him?"

"I don't know." Fiora pulled up the scan data: "Her physical abilities far surpass those of Earthlings; she might also be a descendant of extraterrestrials."

"Whoever she is," General Zod said coldly, "anyone who gets in our way of rebuilding Krypton is an enemy. Let them in. I want to talk to Joe Wren's son."

The spaceship's hatch slowly opened, and Clark and Diana flew inside.

The spaceship's interior was a cold, metallic structure, filled with an alien technological feel. Several Kryptonian soldiers led the way, taking the two to a spacious hall.

General Zod was standing there, with Fiora and several other Kryptonian warriors behind him.

"Karl El, you've finally arrived," General Zod said first.

"My name is Clark Maximoff," Clark calmly corrected. "I am an Earthling."

.

General Zod narrowed his eyes slightly: "You have Kryptonian blood flowing in your veins, you are Jor-El's son, and you cannot deny that."

"I have never denied my bloodline." Clark met Zod's gaze without backing down. "But I was raised by parents on Earth. I identify with Earth. My home is Earth."

General Zod was silent for a moment, then slowly spoke: "I understand your feelings for Earth, but don't you want to know the fate of Krypton? Don't you want to know the story of your birth parents?"

“I know,” Clark interrupted Zod, “My father told me everything. Krypton was destroyed because of excessive resource exploitation and internal decay.”

"My father, Jor-El, wanted to save Krypton, but he failed."

General Zod's expression grew even more somber: "Since you know that, you should understand why I want to rebuild Krypton—not for power, but for the continuation of our race."

"At the cost of Earth?" Clark's voice turned cold.

General Zod did not deny it: "Earth has an environment suitable for Kryptonians to live in. We can terraform this planet and make it a new Krypton."

"As for the Earthlings, they can live if they are willing to obey, and if they are not, they are the enemy."

"This is Krypton's only chance to continue, and I hope you can join us as the son of Jor-El and rebuild Krypton's glory together."

After listening to Zod's words, Clark's face remained unwavering, his eyes calm and resolute: "I refuse."

Three words, loud and clear.

General Zod's expression froze: "What did you say?"

"I said, I refuse."

Clark said, word by word.

"If you want to rebuild Krypton at the cost of Earth, that means killing seven billion Earthlings."

"I will not allow this to happen. You keep talking about the continuation of Krypton, but your method is just another form of destruction. Krypton is already destroyed; that was its fate. My fate is to protect Earth, to protect my family, my friends, and every life on this planet."

General Zod's eyes blazed with fury: "You're just as naive as your father!"

"Jor-El's naive thinking led Krypton to its destruction. I thought you'd be different; I was wrong. Since you're unwilling to join us, you're the enemy!"

He waved his hand, and Fiora and the other Kryptonian warriors immediately went into battle mode: "Grab them."

The battle erupted in an instant. Fiora charged at Diana first, her speed astonishing as she punched Diana in the face.

Diana raised her divine shield to block with a loud clang, sparks flying from the shield. Diana was jolted back a few steps by the immense force, but she quickly regained her balance and swung out the Lasso of Truth to Fiora.

On the other side, Clark faced off against General Zod and two Kryptonians.

The two stood face to face, and a tense atmosphere filled the air.

"This is your last chance," General Zod said in a deep voice. "Join me."

"No." Clark's answer was still just one word.

General Zod stopped talking and charged forward, throwing a punch at Clark.

Clark dodged to the side and simultaneously threw a hook punch, which General Zod also dodged.

Their fists clashed in mid-air, each collision unleashing a massive shockwave that made the spaceship's metal walls vibrate and hum.

The Kryptonian warriors wanted to help, but were kept away by the aftershocks of their battle.

"Your strength is greater than I expected," General Zod said as he fought.

"But you haven't received any real combat training. You're just a kid who grew up on Earth and don't know how to use Kryptonian power at all."

"Try it and you'll see." Clark blocked Zod's powerful punch.

He then threw a punch that struck Zod squarely in the chest, sending Zod flying backward before crashing heavily into the wall, leaving a human-shaped dent in the metal.

Meanwhile, the battle between Diana and Fiora has also reached a fever pitch.

Fiora is Krypton's military adjutant, possessing exceptional combat skills; every punch and kick is swift and deadly.

Despite being a demigod, Diana felt immense pressure from the Kryptonians' power and speed.

"clang!"

Fiora slammed her fist into the divine shield, and Diana's arm went slightly numb, but she gritted her teeth and didn't take a step back. The Lasso of Truth danced like a serpent and finally wrapped around one of Fiora's arms.

"Got you." Diana suddenly pulled Fiora, causing her to lose her balance and fall forward. Diana took the opportunity to kick her in the stomach, and Fiora groaned as she flew backward as well.
