You went on a blind date and presented an A-level wanted criminal as a meeting gift?

wrong!

Lin Chen's pupils suddenly contracted to a dangerous pinpoint.

Everything happened so naturally!

Would an S-class top assassin choose an elevator, the easiest route to be blocked, to escape?

This isn't escaping; it's walking right into a trap!

unless……

The elevator itself was not his escape tool, but his murder weapon!

That throat-slitting gesture wasn't a provocation, but a declaration—the real killing has only just begun!

A thought cleaved through the chaos like a thunderbolt. Lin Chen turned his head sharply, his gaze piercing through the still-swirling white smoke, and locked onto the direction of the VIP ward!

A diversionary tactic!

"not good!"

Lin Chen let out a roar and transformed into an arrow, rushing back into the ward.

Su Qingge was startled by his sudden action, but she reacted quickly and immediately gave instructions through her earpiece:

"Seal off the first floor! Everyone be alert, the target may be using a feint!"

However, it was too late.

When Lin Chen rushed back to the ward, it was empty, with only a mess on the floor and a faint, sweet fragrance.

This is no ordinary smoke grenade!

It contains a highly effective neurotoxin!

Although the dose is not enough to make someone unconscious, it can make someone's limbs weak and their reactions sluggish in a short period of time!

Where is Ye Qingcheng?!

Lin Chen grabbed a trembling nurse.

"She...she was escorted by her bodyguards, who said she needed to take the VIP elevator on the other side for an emergency transfer..."

Lin Chen's mind went blank.

He rushed out of the ward and saw Ye Qingcheng, supported by two bodyguards in black shields, staggering into an elevator at the other end of the corridor.

Her steps were unsteady, clearly indicating that she had inhaled a drug.

The two bodyguards also had flushed faces and stiff movements, as if they were mechanically carrying out some instruction implanted in their minds.

"Don't go in—!"

Lin Chen roared with all his might, the sound echoing through the corridor.

Ye Qingcheng, who was in the elevator, seemed to hear his voice. She turned around in confusion, her beautiful face filled with helplessness and bewilderment.

But her body wouldn't obey her commands.

One of the bodyguards had already pressed the close button with a blank expression.

The two heavy metal doors slowly closed under Lin Chen's furious gaze.

Completely isolate Ye Qingcheng's pale face.

The elevator doors closed completely in the next second.

"Click".

A very faint sound, like the clicking of a clockwork mechanism, came from a corner of the ceiling.

Followed by.

"boom--!!!"

A muffled explosion resounded from the top floor of the building, crashing down the elevator shaft!

The entire building shook violently!

The red floor numbers displayed above the VIP elevator flashed wildly, then went out instantly!

A steel main cable, thicker than an adult's arm, was snapped at the root in the explosion. The broken steel wires lashed against the well wall like wildly dancing venomous snakes, scattering large amounts of blinding sparks!

weightlessness!

The ultimate feeling of weightlessness descends instantly!

The elevator car, weighing several tons, turned into a free-falling metal coffin, and with a piercing shriek that tore through the air, it began its mad descent into hell from the twelfth floor!

"ah--!!!"

Inside the elevator car, Ye Qingcheng and her bodyguards' screams, distorted by weightlessness and filled with extreme terror, echoed through the gaps in the elevator shaft, so piercing and chilling that they sent shivers down one's spine.

"Ye Qingcheng!"

Lin Chen's eyes were bloodshot, and all the blood in his body rushed to his head at that moment!

An unimaginably violent force exploded throughout his body in an instant!

Without the slightest hesitation, Lin Chen rushed to the tightly closed VIP elevator door.

He took a deep breath, his chest bulging.

Then, he forcefully inserted his ten fingers into the crack in the door, which was only a few millimeters wide!

"Open it for me!!!"

A beast-like roar exploded from deep within Lin Chen's throat!

The muscles in his arms bulged instantly, forming hard, iron-like lumps, with veins like ferocious dragons, spreading from the back of his hand all the way to his neck!

"Crunch...squeak...squeak—!"

A sickening metallic creaking sound rang out, and scorching sparks flew from the friction.

The two elevator doors, made of special steel and impervious to bullets, were actually pried open inch by inch by his brute force!

Su Qingge and the group of special police officers following behind were all horrified and their minds went blank when they saw what was happening before them.

Is this... is this still a power that humans can possess?!

boom!

The elevator door was completely torn open, revealing a dark, bottomless elevator shaft behind it.

A strong wind rushed up from below, making Lin Chen's clothes flutter loudly.

In my sight, the elevator car, now a blurry black shadow, was hurtling towards the abyss amidst a shower of sparks.

Inside the sedan chair, Ye Qingcheng's pretty face, contorted with fear, flashed by in an instant.

Time seemed to slow down countless times at this moment.

Lin Chen looked down at the darkness that represented death, his eyes showing not a trace of fear.

He turned to Su Qingge, who was completely petrified, and left her with a single sentence.

"Come pick me up downstairs."

Before he could finish speaking...

Amidst the incredulous gazes of everyone, he leaped into the air.

Like a wingless eagle, it resolutely leaped into that dark abyss that devoured everything!
