Elven cultivators

Chapter 31 The Support of the Elders

Silvermoon Forest, Eternal Palace.

A dome hangs high, and drooping fluorescent vines sway gently, casting a pale green glow onto the round table.

The three elders sat around the table, each holding a bottle of medicine.

The bottle is translucent, refracting tiny iridescent colors under fluorescent light. The bluish-red liquid inside flows slowly, as if it were breathing with life within it.

The three elders stared intently at the medicine in their hands, their expressions revealing their astonishment.

"Can this potion really accelerate the speed of magic condensation?" The Third Elder couldn't help but ask, his gaze fixed intently on Darian standing in front of the round table.

Darian nodded solemnly: "I have conducted three complete tests on the potion, and the results were all perfect. After that, I had more than ten warriors and spellcasters of different ranks take the potion and conducted a two-week follow-up observation."

Darian was well aware of the importance of the Dragon Essence Potion, and the tests he arranged for this potion were far more rigorous and detailed than those for previous improved potions.

"The results prove that the Dragon Essence Potion can indeed accelerate the speed of magic power condensation. It is most effective for those at the Iron rank and below, with an average increase of 40% to 60% in magic power condensation speed after consumption, and there are no obvious side effects. The Silver rank is the second best, with an effect of about half that of the former. As for the Gold rank... it has not been tested yet."

The three elders exchanged a glance, and each could see the shock in the other's eyes.

It wasn't that they didn't believe Darian's words, but the significance behind this matter was too great, so great that even these seasoned elders couldn't help but repeatedly confirm it, fearing that their hopes would be dashed.

After the initial shock came an overwhelming sense of joy.

"It doesn't matter if it doesn't work on the Gold rank, as long as it works on the Iron and Silver ranks."

The Third Elder couldn't help but burst into laughter, "That kid Anton is really restless. The previous improved potion was already surprising enough, but I didn't expect there was something bigger hidden behind it."

His tone was full of admiration and amazement for Anton.

Even the usually serious and composed Second Elder's face was filled with joy.

Everyone present knew very well what a potion that could accelerate the condensation of magic power meant.

In the Dawn Continent, accumulating magic power is the most time-consuming and laborious process.

This is especially true for those who lack the necessary qualifications.

Even among elves with long lifespans, many have spent hundreds of years breaking through to the Black Iron rank.

However, if there were a potion that could accelerate the condensation of magic, this time could undoubtedly be greatly shortened.

In a hundred or two hundred years, the Silvermoon Clan will be able to cultivate a large number of Iron-tier warriors and spellcasters.

Even the proportion of Silver-rank powerhouses can be greatly increased.

The entire Silvermoon Clan's strength will leap to a new level.

Such a prospect is truly exciting!

While the several potions that Anton had previously improved were somewhat helpful to the clan, they were far less valuable than the Dragon Essence Potion.

The Grand Elder was relatively calmer and asked the most crucial question: "How much does this Dragon Essence Elixir cost?"

Darian was prepared; he took a roll of parchment from his sleeve and slowly unrolled it on the table.

The paper was covered with a list of materials and proportions, the ink still fresh, indicating that it had been copied recently.

"Most of the ingredients are common herbs that can be gathered in the forest or purchased in the surrounding towns, and they are not expensive." His fingers slid across the paper, pausing slightly on a line of text. "The only most important ingredient... is the blood of the lizardmen."

"Lizardman blood?"

The elder's expression shifted slightly, a hint of understanding flashing in his eyes. "Anton has been asking you to extract the blood of the lizardmen all these years in order to research the Dragon Essence Potion."

Darian nodded, his expression slightly strange.

In the past two years, in order to supply blood to Anton, the lizardman prisoners in the dungeon have been almost drained dry.

The Forest Guard even adjusted its combat training schedule, almost never using lizardmen captives as hunting targets anymore.

In other words, Anton's improved potion made a huge contribution to the clan, which is why the Forest Guard had no complaints and instead gave their full support.

Other young elves would never receive this kind of treatment.

And as it turned out, Anton did not disappoint.

"Lizardmen blood..." The Third Elder stroked his chin. "So, to mass-produce Dragon Essence Potions, we'll need to capture more lizardmen prisoners."

"Arrest them if you will." The Second Elder's expression was cold and hard. "Those reptiles invade Silvermoon Forest every year, killing our people. It's time for them to taste the bitterness of being invaded."

The Second Elder's words carried a hint of resentment that had been suppressed for many years.

More than seventy years ago, the Silver Moon Clan paid a heavy price in the war against Dragon City. The former clan leader perished, and most of their elite troops were lost. They have not yet recovered their strength.

As a result, in the face of the lizardmen's incursions over the years, the clan could only endure and defend, and this humiliation was deeply engraved in the hearts of all the clan members.

Almost every elf wished they could skin and dismember those cold-blooded reptiles.

Now, Anton's Longyuan Pharmacy provides an excellent reason.

If we can rightfully strike at our arch-enemy and accumulate strategic resources for our clan, what is there to hesitate about?

The Third Elder clearly shared the same thought. After the Second Elder finished speaking, he and the latter looked at the First Elder at the head of the table.

The elder remained silent for a moment, his young yet weathered face appearing exceptionally serene in the fluorescent light.

"Dispatch the Forest Guard." He finally spoke, his voice hoarse but firm. "Capture the lizardmen with all their might. All lizardman prisoners should be prioritized for Anton's research. Also..."

He turned to Darian, a hint of expectation flashing in his eyes, "Tell Anton that the clan will fully support his research from now on. Whatever materials or permissions he needs, just ask, and we will do our best to meet his needs."

"Yes, Elder."

Darian respectfully agreed, inwardly sighing with admiration.

Clearly, the emergence of Dragon Essence Medicine has given the Elders a new understanding of Anton's value, and they are preparing to provide greater support.

It is foreseeable that after today, Anton's status in the clan will rise to a new height, even surpassing that of his teacher.

There is probably only one person in the entire Silvermoon Clan named Anton who can be valued so highly by the Elders.

When Darian first taught Anton, he could see that Anton was extraordinary, but he never expected that Anton would achieve what he has today.

A master of both magic and martial arts, and a genius pharmacist—either one would be enough to draw attention, let alone having both of these accolades concentrated on the same person.

This completely changed his understanding of the word "genius".

Perhaps the hope for the clan's return to glory rests on Anton's shoulders.
