Chapter 88 Wanda's New Suit

Wanda stepped out of the portal, her red coat still stained with a few fallen leaves she'd picked up in the forest.

Lin Yan was sitting on the old sofa in the living room. Several Infinity Stones were spread out on the coffee table, and the scepter inlaid with the Mind Stone was placed next to him.

She kicked off her shoes and lay down sideways on the sofa, resting her head on the armrest, her long hair cascading down the edge of the sofa, her waist sinking into the cushions, the hem of her red coat brushing up to reveal a small patch of glistening skin on her waist.

Her legs, encased in tight pants, were crossed and rested on the other end of the handrail. She stretched out in front of Lin Yan like a cat stretching.

"How do you feel?" Lin Yan glanced at Wanda, and wondered why her figure seemed even more exaggerated.

"It's meaningless." She stared at the water stain on the ceiling, a hint of disappointment in her voice. "I don't like fighting."

She propped herself up with one hand, turned her head to look at Lin Yan, and said, "But seriously, I probably can't beat that Thor right now."

.

"It's alright. You've only been awakening your abilities for a short time. Thor is already 1500 years old." Lin Yan glanced at Wanda again, then looked away.

"1500 years old?!?" Wanda exclaimed in surprise, her upper body curves undulating with her movements.

"The Asgardian gods have very long lifespans. Fifteen hundred years old is just the beginning of their adulthood," Lin Yan explained to her.

"How long can I live?"

Wanda rolled over again, turning to lie on her side, propping herself up on the sofa cushion with her elbow and resting her chin on her palm.

This posture caused her neckline to slip down a bit more, but she didn't care at all, her gray-green eyes shining as she stared at Lin Yan.

"It's definitely longer than Thor's," Lin Yan said casually.

This isn't just to appease her; if chaos magic were fully developed, its lifespan would definitely surpass that of the Asgardian gods.

But Wanda's ending in the original storyline was just too tragic. She lost both her parents at a young age, her twin brother as an adult, then the collapse of Westingham, the corruption of the Dark Book, and finally, to save the multiverse, she tore herself apart.

"And what about you?" Wanda's voice grew closer.

Lin Yan's gaze swept over her.

When she leaned closer, the collar of her coat was askew, and the already loose fabric below her collarbone slipped open even wider, revealing glimpses of her full figure beneath the red fabric.

He suddenly realized that he had replicated too many human senses in this avatar, including the temperature that was now slightly rising in his blood vessels.

He hadn't felt this way in a long time; the last time was probably when he first merged with this avatar.

The body now sitting on the old sofa even had a slight, almost imperceptible burning sensation in the corners of its eyes and the base of its ears.

Lin Yan looked away and changed the subject, "You should get a suit of armor."

Wanda glanced down at herself, then looked up.

She noticed that Lin Yan had just looked away.

"Okay." She rolled over and lay face down on the sofa, propping her chin up with her hands, her eyes crinkling slightly. "Lin, what kind do you like?"

"I like—" Lin Yan repeated halfway before suddenly realizing something.

"I like it and I'll make it for you, whatever you want it to be used for." He stood up and walked towards the bedroom without looking back.

Wanda sprang up from the sofa, her bare feet pattering on the wooden floor as she followed his footsteps.

Lin Yan pushed open the bedroom door, and she squeezed past his arm and pounced on the bed first.

She sprawled out on her back, comfortably sinking into Lin Yan's unmade-up blanket, her long hair spread out beside the pillow, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Lin Yan standing in the doorway, bolder than when she was stretching on the sofa.

"What are you doing here?"

""

"Let's talk about the design of the combat suit," Wanda said, turning over to lie on her side.

Her already somewhat disheveled clothes became even more wrinkled with her movements, revealing a patch of fair skin below her collarbone.

She pointed to her clothes, "You said you wanted me to design it myself, so I have to ask you for my size. What style do you think suits me? Fitted or loose? Red or dark colors?"

Lin Yan leaned against the door frame, looking at Wanda, who had become increasingly alluring lately.

"How about this?" He thought for a moment, "I'll make you a battle suit that can change shape at will. You can control its color, style, and length with your mind. You can make it tight-fitting if you want it to be tight, or loose if you want it to be loose. You can switch between red and dark colors at will."

Wanda listened attentively, but her mind was elsewhere.

"However, it's a bit lacking in defense; it's not heavy armor and can't withstand high-intensity energy impacts."

"I like anything you give me," Wanda said, her eyes shining without the slightest hesitation.

Lin Yan sighed.

She's become bolder lately; she's no longer the little girl whose ears turned bright red when she eavesdropped on his conversation with the Ancient One in the hallway.

Now she would chase him barefoot from the living room to the bedroom, she would jump onto his bed first, and she would look at him without flinching with her gray-green eyes, saying things that she used to keep to herself.

Chaos magic is changing her body and also subtly altering the repressed parts of her personality.

Lin Yan raised his right hand, and a dark symbiote emerged from his palm. After wriggling a few times, it quieted down, like an obedient lump of ink.

He began to infuse starlight into the symbiote.

Starlight seeped into every inch of the symbiote's texture, and the black color was gradually diluted from the inside out, first turning into dark red, then into crimson, and finally condensing into a crystal-red color.

The crystals changed shape continuously in his palm, stretching, folding, and weaving, finally converging into a string of crystal-red necklaces.

The chain is slender, and the pendant is a teardrop-shaped crystal with a faint starlight flowing on its surface, resembling a frozen sunset in the dim light of the bedroom.

"Give it a try." Lin Yan released his grip.

The necklace floated up and automatically wrapped around Wanda's neck, the clasp gently closing at the back of her neck.

The pendant dangled down, landing on the fair skin below her collarbone, the crystal right next to the deep cleavage.

"Communicate with it using your mind, just as you would control chains with chaos magic."

Wanda obediently closed her eyes.

A crimson light emanated from the pendant, spreading along her neck to her shoulders, arms, and torso.

The light film covered every corner of her body, and then began to stretch, contract, and solidify.

A red, tight-fitting tactical suit emerged from the light membrane. The high collar hugged her neck, the sleeves tightened from her shoulders to her wrists, and the waistline was very narrow, outlining her alluring figure after being accelerated by the chaos magic.

Several crystalline red rune markings were embedded in the sides of the shoulders and arms; these were energy channels formed after the symbiote merged with starlight.
