Warhammer: My buddy has too many secrets!

Chapter 10 For the Second Empire!

"For the Emperor."

Malakin removed his hat and then answered Lancelot in this way.

Looking at the exceptionally handsome face before him, made even more striking by Saint Gereschi, Lancelot couldn't help but sigh slightly.

Prior to this, the Blood Angels were essentially a group of vampires. The arrival of the Primarch improved this situation, but when Sanguis died, in addition to the negative effects of Blood Thirst, the Blood Angels also developed a genetic defect called Black Fury.

However, the gene seed of the Weeping Legion accidentally eliminated the negative effects of Black Fury and Bloodthirst when the curse was established. Instead, they inherited the noble qualities of angels, being friendly to mortals and loyal to their brothers.

They can be described as perfect Blood Angels, but in this shitty Warhammer universe, good people are always bullied, and sometimes they may become as obsessed as Dark Angels!

With that thought in mind, Lancelot looked at the "honest" Weeping Legion and the Sons of Saint Geres in front of him and decided to get to know them well in order to solidify the great friendship with the Second Empire!

But how should we begin?

As Lancelot was thinking this, an opportunity came through the sound channel.

"Master, the orcs' offensive is gradually subsiding, but the gene stealers are still rampaging."

As Astartes, nothing fosters friendship more than battle, and since the fighting here has not yet subsided, it is not time for idle chatter.

Lancelot nodded slightly and put on his helmet. At that moment, Malakin heard the information on the audio channel and also put on his helmet, preparing to lead the Weepers and Lancelot to wipe out the filthy four-armed aliens.

Collapse, collapse, collapse.

The aliens roared in the darkness, but for Lancelot, once he appeared on the battlefield, the movement trajectories of all enemy units were already conceived in his mind.

The heavy iron helmet moved incredibly lightly through the tunnel, and Lancelot's figure wielding the power sword was like a white sun crashing into a tide of aliens in front of the Weeping Ones!

The power sword danced at high speed, and the exquisite swordsmanship was flawless even in the eyes of the children of Saint Geres. Under the dazzling light of the blade, even Malakin, the leader of the Weeping Chapter, was speechless.

Lancelot's swordsmanship was so skillful; perhaps he was a company champion, or even a chapter champion, of the Dark Angels?! But for some reason, his attire seemed somewhat different from that of the current Dark Angels—ancient and mysterious. Which branch of the Dark Angels did he belong to?

Malakin, the leader of the Lamenters' Chapter, thought to himself.

This was also his first time fighting alongside the Dark Angels. His understanding of the First Legion was limited to a few words; he only knew that they were the first army created by the God-Emperor.

Just like that saying goes.

If the Emperor wants to defeat you, he will send out Ultramarines.

If he wants to punish you, he'll send out space wolves.

If he doesn't want to see you in the galaxy, he will send out dark angels.

From ancient times, the Dark Angels have been slaughtering countless aliens unseen by humans. They are the Emperor's executioners, rumored to be silent, efficient, and ruthless, but...

Karakin looked at Lancelot not far away.

He had no intention of prying into the thoughts of his comrade-in-arms, but it seemed that the other party was not the dark angel people had heard of. He was powerful and indeed ruthless to his enemies, but not to his allies.

After the battle, I should ask myself, at least I need to know which Dark Angel faction the other side belongs to.

Karakin thought to himself.

As a chapter leader, he had to think more than an ordinary Space Marine. As a warrior, he naturally understood that friendship was precious in a war-torn galaxy.

The Lamenters Chapter is scorned because of their origins... but that doesn't mean the brothers in the chapter don't yearn for friendship and recognition. Just as Lancelot said before, they bear the blood of Sanctuary and naturally hope to bring glory, not shame, to Sanctuary.

They didn't know how long they had been in the warp.

But now, with the Emperor's protection and having escaped the warp storm, if they can gain the friendship of the Dark Angels, perhaps the Lamenters Chapter can be freed from its cursed name!

With that thought in mind, the Lamenters and Lancelot charged into the ranks of those half-blood thieves.

Lancelot's inviolable domain descended, and a vast amount of information began to churn in Lancelot's mind.

This realm is not like the exorcism zone of the soulless or the space necromancers, which directly isolates the influence of the warp. This is because the warp is a projection of people's mental state, and the human soul is deeply bound to the warp. If the warp were truly isolated, it would cause psykers to go mad, and soldiers would also gradually go mad.

However, for Lancelot, the Inviolable Domain merely stabilizes the real universe and does not directly sever your connection with the warp. It simply renders any psionic attempts to interfere with the real world through psionic energy futile.

This would create ripples in Lancelot's territory like a pebble dropped into water, as if it were providing him with a location lock!

Genestealers also wield psionic powers. Purebred cunning individuals can use psionic powers for mind control and can also form a hive consciousness, sharing thoughts, communicating encryptedly, and commanding without delay with all hybrids.

This ability is very strong, but in the face of an inviolable domain, every attempt he makes to command through psionic energy will highlight his position to Lancelot.

With Lancelot's intervention on the battlefield, the half-blood chicken thieves were also bewildered to find that they had lost their commander and could only fight on their own, no longer posing any threat.

Lancelot strode forward, charging toward the unit with the strongest psionic signal at the bottom of the ship. The Weeping Ones surrounding Lancelot, though unaware of his specific purpose, followed him like daggers, piercing into the ranks of cultists and aliens!

Boom boom boom!

The high-speed armor scraped against the metal floor with a loud, piercing sound.

With the help of the Weeping Ones, Lancelot rapidly approached the psionic signal, and the other party finally noticed something amiss after Lancelot got close and began to try to escape.

But in the end it was all in vain!

His location had been marked by Lancelot, and the weeping companions had already surrounded him based on his position!

The tall, deformed figure suddenly stopped fleeing, its eyes locking onto the figure ahead. The bright yellow helmet was exceptionally conspicuous, and the angelic wing patterns on it gleamed with a cold, sharp light under the emergency lamp.

Malakin lightly tapped the hilt of his chainsaw sword with his fingertips, and the massive chainsaw instantly hummed as it was drawn from its sheath. Beside him, three warriors from the Weeping Legion formed a triangular battle formation, the sounds of their explosive guns being cocked echoing in unison.

Even in the face of such a fierce battle, the pureblood gene stealer did not panic at all. It suddenly arched its deformed body, and the sharp claws of its muscular forelimbs pounced down with a stench, so fast that it was just a gray-black afterimage!

As a pure-blooded gene stealer, its claws can easily tear through Space Marine armor, and it is incredibly fast. Its chitinous carapace also makes it immune to most energy guns.

But its sudden attack was nothing more than a death struggle in the eyes of the well-prepared mourners!
