Warhammer: My buddy has too many secrets!
Chapter 9 The Ever-Evolving Orcs
The battle inside the Cobra destroyer had been completely turned around. Lancelot, who was pondering how to establish communication with the Lamenters Chapter, led the Krieg Death Soldiers who had been with him back to their armory.
"Sir, do you need more manpower or more ammunition?"
The political commissar of the dead soldier Krieg questioned Lancelot.
Now that the audio channels have been restored, they know that reinforcements are on their way. Furthermore, due to the infighting between the Greenskins and the Genestealers, the number of enemies in their armory area is extremely small. The political commissar believes that a counterattack can be launched now, but orders from higher up are still needed.
However, Lancelot did not order them to switch from defense to offense. Instead, he ordered them to continue guarding the armory and then went into the armory himself.
Most of the equipment stored here belonged to the Astronautical Army, including some land-based tanks. Lancelot walked deep into the warehouse, then gently reached out, and the equipment suddenly disappeared from the warehouse.
The Space Marine basic forging templates you obtain require materials to disassemble and reassemble, and the higher the relevance of the disassembly materials used, the higher the production efficiency.
Although you could produce a bullet by digging up two lumps of soil and throwing them into a mold, that would be too time-consuming.
Lancelot was preparing to give the Lamenters Chapter a big gift.
The reason is simple: those who carry firewood for the masses should not be left to freeze to death in the wind and snow. Many Space Marine legions actually look down on the most ordinary mortals of the Imperium, but they forget that they were also mortals who grew up step by step!
The Emperor created them to protect the mortals they despised most. For this, the Weeping Legion, who were willing to stand up for mortals at any cost, should be rewarded from any perspective, not suffer a cruel fate!
Therefore, production needs to be accelerated as quickly as possible. As for the equipment that disappears inside the ships, it's not tax that the Empire has to pay... In fact, it can be transformed into something of higher value in our own hands!
With that in mind, under Lancelot's deliberate manipulation, all the tanks, guns, and ammunition that had been brought in were stuffed into the forging templates, and the random templates were operating at full power.
After browsing the armory, Lancelot took a little here and a little there. On the surface, it didn't seem like the inventory had decreased much. However, when Lancelot came out of the armory, there were about 300 sets of power armor, along with matching ammunition and motorcycles in the Guardian's space.
Lancelot then drew his sword, ready to cause trouble for the Greenskins warlords, when at that moment, an officer in the command center informed Lancelot via the communications channel that the Weeping Legion had launched a boarding operation.
A day in Warhammer always begins with a boarding maneuver, and at the same time, Lancelot's Keeper of Secrets panel displays the following message:
The Oath of the Second Legion has been activated.
The overall increase of 10 combat points didn't really make Lancelot feel much; it just meant that he could use his power sword a little more smoothly.
But it seems Lancelot underestimated the blessing this would bring to the Son of Saint Geres.
The shuttle unleashed lasers that tore through the ship and crashed into the orc pirates' junk ship. The Weeping Ones were waiting in ambush, seemingly having finally come to the real world from the warp. They could feel their previous physical weakness disappearing, replaced by a surge of power that filled their entire bodies!
As the hatch opened, battle cries echoed before the green-skinned orc heretics.
"We shall not betray the blood of Saint Gilles!"
The children of angels stormed into the greenskin orcs, delaying them for a while, before Lancelot finally stormed into the greenskin's ramming ship.
But here, the battle was basically over. Lancelot's inviolable domain had covered the warship, rendering the orcs' firepower useless. They could only engage in melee combat, but in melee combat against the offspring of Saint Gilles, only death awaited them!
Only a bunch of ownerless orc boys were left running around, then being called out one by one. A large number of bastards were trembling as they fled, only to be kicked to death by Lancelot.
He had already seen members of the Lamenters Chapter, dressed in bright yellow power armor with a black and white checkered pattern and a tearful red heart on their left shoulder, standing near the massive corpse of the orc warlord.
Lancelot glanced around at the battle scene. Everything had settled down, but one thing made Lancelot's expression change slightly.
He reached out and picked up a rifle near the body of the green-skinned mechanic.
The reason this gun caught Lancelot's attention was that the rifle used by the green-skinned orc was beginning to show some precision mechanical structures.
In the past, the green-skinned orcs' ordinary rifles could fire bullets using my imagination, without any triggering device or bolt assembly.
But now, with the protection of an inviolable domain, a rifle needs to follow the laws of physics to function properly.
In this short period of time, these green-skinned orc mechanics actually managed to patiently produce normal firearms under their own pressure.
This discovery made Lancelot realize that his inviolable domain could only kill the green-skinned orcs on the first encounter.
Even without the power of my divination, this fighting machine, produced for war, can still be found in its genes to figure out how to produce a truly valuable weapon.
If I were to fight a Greenskin Orc army for a long time while operating an Inviolable Domain, I might be able to forcibly transform the Greenskin Orcs' weapons and equipment into a regular army.
But if that's the case, the best strategic option for me would be to suddenly appear on a battlefield full of greens, instantly disable their weapons, and then carry out a decapitation strike, giving those greens no time to react.
He couldn't help but imagine this scene: when he descended from the heavens with his inviolable aura onto the Greenskins' battlefield, he could silence all the orcs' weapons in an instant. If he did this a few more times, his reputation among the Greenskins might even surpass that of Old One-Eye...
Lancelot was thinking this, and at that moment, the Weeping Ones, who were already cleaning up the battlefield, naturally saw the dark angel in front of them, who was wearing black armor and a hood.
They naturally noticed Lancelot examining the weapons of these green-skinned orcs, and in fact, they themselves were somewhat puzzled by these weapons.
Because their guns malfunctioned.
When they just boarded, there was a very dangerous situation: their shuttle landed in an open area, a position that was easy to be targeted by concentrated fire.
Even though the Space Marines' terracotta power armor is extremely sturdy, in this galaxy, aliens that cannot penetrate terracotta armor have long been extinct.
For the green-skinned orcs, who are influential throughout the galaxy, their weapons—rifles pieced together from scrap metal—provide astonishing firepower, capable of tearing through the armor of Space Marines with the slightest carelessness.
Therefore, even the Emperor's angels had to be extremely vigilant. However, when they came out, they found that all the guns in the hands of those green-skinned orcs were out of order and unusable. They could only fight hand-to-hand with their melee weapons.
Although the Lamenters are sons of Saint Gilles and value honor, their honor does not extend to these aliens. With guns in hand, they naturally intend to suppress these orcs.
Thus, without long-range fire support, even the massive green-skinned warlord was beheaded by the Weeping Band after being pierced through the chest by a hot melt bomb.
The alien's face was filled with resentment before it died, but the Lamenters Chapter showed no pity for it, instead pondering the reason for this unusual situation.
Could it be...?
Their gazes turned to Lancelot, the mysterious dark angel.
So Lancelot also took off his helmet.
Perhaps because he was a transmigrator, Lancelot was not used to wearing a helmet. Even though the helmet contained various data that Space Marines relied on for survival, Lancelot still preferred to see the universe through the face of his own body.
This is both a habit and a sign of respect.
At that moment, the chapter leader of the corresponding Lamenters chapter also removed his helmet.
"It's an honor to meet you, my brothers in arms!"
