The Whale Bone Hall is a guest room in the Dragon Palace specifically for receiving distinguished guests.

After sending a message to Heita saying "All is well," Zheng Tianxing put his phone away.

He turned to look at Yasuri Nanami and asked, "How was your trip to this other world?"

"The Dragon Palace is even more magnificent than I imagined."

Nanami shed her usual solemnity in front of outsiders, her lips slightly upturned, but her tone remained calm.

"I never imagined that I, who initially only lived on a small island, would one day be able to see such a fairytale-like scene..."

She paused, then added softly, "Lord Tianxing, the outside world is indeed a wonderful surprise."

"Hmph~ Now you can feel the sincerity of my invitation, right?" Tianxing laughed. "Speaking of which, what do you think of the combat system in this world?"

Dressed in Buddhist robes, Nanami poured Tengyo a pot of tea like a high monk, then spoke with some excitement: "This world is even more peculiar than the DanMachi world. Mermaid Jujutsu... is quite an interesting martial art—"

Her smile held a hint of danger.

"I'm looking forward to a thrilling battle in this world, so please feel free to use me in the future!"

After she finished speaking, she looked up at Tianxing, then clenched her right hand slightly, as if she had grasped something invisible, and then gently pushed it.

A gentle stream of water brushed across Tianxing's cheek, carrying away the tea stains that had somehow gotten stuck in his hair.

Tianxing felt a moment of embarrassment, then coughed dryly, forcibly changing the subject and trying his best to maintain the composure that a god should have, saying, "Hmm... Mermaid contortionism is surprisingly practical for washing one's face."

"Lord Tianxing is indeed unconventional," Qi Shi echoed in a cold tone. "However, these are merely minor skills. What interests me more are the applications of 'Overbearing Aura' and the techniques of 'Life Return,' which you mentioned earlier."

She paused briefly, her expression returning to calm: "I can sense a peculiar power emanating from Her Majesty Otohime. Her words seem to carry particular weight because of that power. However, merely observing from the sidelines ultimately has its limitations."

"If I could have a brief exchange with Her Majesty Otohime, I should be able to quickly grasp the intricacies and master this technique," she said calmly, then added softly, "It's just that she does seem... somewhat fragile."

She looked up at Tianxing, a dangerous glint in her eyes: "A minor injury shouldn't be a big deal, right?"

Tianxing suddenly felt a headache coming on.

Ever since he pulled Nanami back from the brink of self-destruction and together they played pranks on her younger brother, she seems to have awakened some strange personality trait—

In public, she remained aloof and restrained, maintaining the near-perfect teacher demeanor he demanded.

But in private, she increasingly liked to say things with a dangerous undertone, deliberately trying to provoke him.

Tianxing sighed helplessly and could only offer a compromise to try and dissuade her: "Find some time later to spar with Tiger. He should have mastered some of the use of Haki as well. As for the life return... I'll think of a way later."

Just as the two began discussing the training plans for their clan, Alphia knocked on the door and came in.

Seeing the girl in front of him change into a brand-new maid outfit, Tianxing's eyes lit up—this maid outfit, which was similar in style to the lavish mistress's, suited Alphia perfectly.

"Nice outfit." He nodded slightly. "Is there something you need, Alphia?"

"Lord Tianxing." Alphia bowed slightly, her tone steady, "After you performed a miracle by using the sea fire to alleviate the symptoms of the people of Flevans, their faith in you has increased even further."

"Furthermore, at your behest, the self-salvation ideas promoted by the nun have been widely accepted. Now, most people are actively participating in the expansion of Mermaid Island."

She paused briefly before continuing her report: "Currently, the more important projects include the small clinic next to the Mermaid Cafe, the church on Mermaid Street, and the formation of a joint patrol team."

"All of these projects have received King Neptune's approval."

Tianxing nodded: "Yes, well done. People only have the right to be saved if they learn to save themselves first. We can't keep cleaning up their messes forever."

He then changed the subject: "How do you feel about this world? Don't you feel... that enhancing your vitality has become easier?"

"That's true," Alphia nodded. "The food in this world contains much more energy than the food in our original world, and the effects of daily exercise are also significantly better."

"Especially the meat of sea monsters," she added. "After eating it, I could clearly feel my physique continuously improving. I imagine Master Nanami must have had a similar experience."

"My improvement wasn't significant, so I didn't pay much attention to it before. Maybe the longer I stay, the more noticeable the effect will be."

Tianxing deduced that this was mostly related to differences in individual strength: "Then the improvement on the Negation Ji side should be more obvious. Have her come see me later."

He looked at Alphia: "Besides that, are there any other feelings?"

"There's one more thing," Alphia's tone tightened slightly, "I seem to... be able to use what you call Haki."

"While manipulating magic in this world is somewhat difficult, as you said, there exists another force that can be driven by will."

"Whenever I recall the scene of my sister being bullied, I can clearly feel its presence."

Having said that, she raised her right hand.

A faint black aura appeared on the surface of his palm.

Nanami stepped forward, reached out and gently touched her arm, closed her eyes to feel it for a moment, then slowly withdrew her hand, a faint smile spreading across her lips.

"I think I understand what's going on."

The slums of Fishman Island, Fishman Street.

This is one of the areas on the entire Fishman Island that is furthest from the Sun Tree Eve.

Initially, Fishman Street was a large shelter for orphans. However, as the activities of fishman traffickers became increasingly rampant, the number of orphans increased rapidly, management gradually spiraled out of control, and it eventually became a chaotic and oppressive place.

Arlong and his crew had just successfully intercepted a pirate ship and were now strutting confidently down the streets of Fishman Town.

However, when Arlong saw that there were many more soldiers from the Dragon Palace on the streets, as well as a group of humans he had never seen before, helping to expand the Fishman Street, his brows furrowed tightly.

"How did these humans end up here?" he asked coldly. "After destroying countless families, do they think they can atone for their sins by doing something like this?"

Jinbe, who was standing nearby, had already noticed his arrival. He raised his hand to greet Dr. Edward and the nun who were busy with their work, and then turned to Arlong: "Arlong, I heard that you sank another pirate ship that was hiding fish-man traffickers. Well done."

He paused, his tone softening slightly: "These people are the outsiders that Big Brother mentioned before, temporarily residing on Fishman Island. It's best if you don't get into a conflict."

"Hmph." Ah Long snorted coldly, "I don't need your reminder. Since it's someone Big Brother mentioned, I naturally won't act recklessly."

After a brief introduction, Edward's gaze fell on Hachi, the octopus-man. The bandages on Hachi's body were wrapped haphazardly, and his professional instincts kicked in, so he immediately stepped forward to try and re-treat his wounds.

Xiao Ba looked down at its injuries and thought they weren't too serious, but since someone was willing to help, it readily cooperated.

Meanwhile, the nun had somehow moved to a corner and started chatting with a group of fish-man children. Before long, the children, who had initially been wary and uneasy, gradually relaxed.

Ah Long witnessed all of this, and his heart was filled with mixed feelings.

He still hated humanity—that hatred was so deep-rooted that it was almost unshakable.

But beyond hatred, he showed an undisguised appreciation for his own kind.

He saw Xiao Ba's relaxed smile after the bandages were reapplied.

He also saw that the fish-man orphans had become less gloomy around the nun.

That originally cold heart began to waver slightly.

If Tiger is right... these people probably also have a painful past.

Perhaps they are different?

The thought had barely formed when he forcibly suppressed it. He wouldn't accept humans so easily.

"How...boring."

Ah Long gave a low snort, turned around and left Fishman Street, leaving this place that inexplicably annoyed him.
