American comic book: Absolute Spider-Man
Chapter 68 Farewell, the Curtain Rises
A week later, Bruce and Alfred couldn't resist their curiosity and went to New York.
Inside the secret production workshop of Parker Tower, Peter led them on a tour of the production processes for nanoparticles and conventional Iron Man armor.
Bruce looked at the arc reactors that were lighting up, his eyes filled with envy.
Agent Affleck was assessing whether Parker Industries' private army, fully equipped with these power armors, could withstand an attack aimed at decapitating the government he served.
He quickly came to the answer: it was unstoppable, utterly unstoppable.
Thinking about this, he couldn't help but feel a little irritated.
The world's high-tech weaponry is monopolized by these tech giants that governments cannot control. So who really calls the shots in this world?
Peter led the two to the next production workshop, where dozens of senior engineers in the field of biochemistry were working together to configure the Extremis virus.
Production of the Extremis virus is still not high; even with Parker Industries' current capabilities, the daily output is only two to three units.
After Peter introduced the Extremis virus to the two, Alfred could only marvel at the terrifying technological foundation of Parker Industries, but Bruce was different; he thought of Martha.
Bruce Wayne is similar to other Batmen from different universes in one respect: they are not willing to possess superhuman powers unless absolutely necessary, whether it is through human modification, external armor, or stealing divine power.
When the bats patrol Gotham, they never wear exoskeletons designed to deal with powerful villains; they wear regular Batsuits, even if it means they'll be beaten half to death if they suddenly encounter a formidable foe.
Peter thought this behavior was just making things difficult for himself, but the bats just loved doing it.
Bruce might not use the Extremis virus on himself, but he will use it on Martha.
He had already experienced loss once when his father died by gunshot, and he didn't want to experience it a second time.
"Mr. Parker, what do I need to do to work for you, and what will I get in return?" Bruce asked, looking through the glass at the Extremis virus being artificially synthesized in the laboratory.
Peter saw the excitement in Bruce's eyes: "The job is simple, the same as what you did before: fight criminal organizations. Use whatever methods and procedures you like, as long as you can dismantle those human scourges."
Peter tapped on the lab glass: "Parker Industries will sponsor all the funding and equipment you need. If you demonstrate sufficient talent, you can join any department in the company, whether it's management, operations, communications, or research. All of the company's business and technical secrets are open to those who can prove their worth."
Bruce looked at Peter: "Doesn't that mean they're sponsoring us for free?"
"That's one way to put it." Peter led them into the elevator.
The elevator reached the top floor, and Peter led Bruce and Alfred into his office: "I don't ask much of you. I simply want to sponsor the first wave of people in this rotten society who awaken their will to resist. If you ever decide you don't want to stay, you can leave anytime."
The veteran agent, Alfred, felt a pang of regret. After all, being a secret agent was a job with a lifetime guarantee, and switching jobs often meant treason: "Mr. Parker, your generosity is touching, but the nature of my job probably doesn't support me switching jobs."
Peter made a phone call right in front of him. The call was quickly answered, and Peter put it on speakerphone, saying to the person on the other end, "Mr. Prime Minister, may I ask you for someone?"
The person on the other end of the phone didn't even ask Peter who he wanted: "Of course, Mr. Parker, you just need to tell me his name and position."
Alfred's job transfer didn't even require his consent. Soon, Alfred's cell phone rang, and his boss told him to do his best to complete the tasks assigned by the new boss.
"And what about you, Mr. Wayne?" Peter asked Bruce.
"I'm joining."
……
One month later, in the underground training grounds of Wayne Construction Company in Gotham.
Bruce is undergoing his daily training.
Peter funded Bruce to set up the construction company, helping Bruce generate income so that he wouldn't have to work on construction sites during the day and sacrifice sleep at night to fight criminals.
Peter walked into the training field and asked Bruce, who was wielding a vibranium bat axe, "Have you come up with any ideas for the armor I asked you to design?"
Bruce shoved the axe into the weapon cabinet beside him and scratched his head somewhat sheepishly. "Not yet. I can't imagine what kind of craftsmanship could forge armor capable of destroying a large planet with a single full-force strike. It's simply beyond human imagination. As for what you said about forging it in the core of the sun, enchanting it with the gods, and tempering it in the deep sea, that's really beyond my comprehension."
After Bruce joined the team, Peter mentioned the idea of the Hellbat Armor to Bruce. However, Bruce had only been in the industry for a short time and his knowledge and understanding of supernatural powers were still very limited.
"Don't rush. The world is in such a crazy state that you'll keep encountering things that will shatter your worldview. Maybe then you'll have some ideas."
Bruce gave a wry smile: "I don't really want that day to come. After all, the world is already crazy enough."
Peter patted him... Hmm, this Bruce is too big, it's too awkward to put my hand on his shoulder.
Peter patted Bruce's arm: "Be content. Bruce from other multiverses is an orphan. You have Martha by your side. It's a blessing from heaven."
Bruce was no longer surprised by Peter's otherworldly identity and his pronouncements. During this time, he also extracted a lot of information from Peter about his fate.
"Peter, what brings you here today? Are you finally going to make a move against the sugar daddy behind Party Animal?"
"No, I've come to say goodbye."
……
Let's turn our attention to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
On Earth in an unknown universe, a technologically advanced portal gradually opens, and Reed Richards leads the Fantastic Four out of the portal.
By observing the spatial fluctuations as Peter traversed the universe, Tony and his team of scientists discovered a portal that could traverse the multiverse.
As the most outstanding explorers on Earth, the Fantastic Four were entrusted with the important task of leading the charge.
Three men and one woman, dressed in protective suits, walked through the ruins of the city filled with rubble.
On the other side of the earth, a red figure sat on a throne made of steel, with six gems of different colors shining brightly on his forehead and chest.
A figure made entirely of steel walked up to him: "Father, someone has broken through the world barrier."
The red figure toyed with a steel mask: "This day has finally come. Go, and devise a plan."
