You call Final Destination a safety education film?

Lin Ye suddenly received a notification from the system.

[The host's emotional value has been sufficient to redeem the complete "Final Destination" series.]

[Redeem or not?]

【whether】

The first time I used the system, I only had a few thousand emotion points. Forcing the search resulted in only being able to redeem a small fragment of "Final Destination".

Lin Ye finally managed to select a few usable clips for filming and editing.

He tried to modify it himself, but the shooting quality plummeted whenever he captured content outside the system's clips.

Perhaps this problem won't occur again once I improve my skills.

Lin Ye had a thought and brought up the system panel.

Hey!

[Host: Linye]

[Permissions: Level 1]

[Mood value: 208828]

【技能：厨艺2级（347/500）、吉他3级（546/1000）……】

[Already redeemed: The entire Final Destination series (3%) (+)]

My emotional value has actually soared to over 200,000.

Lin Ye decided to treat himself to an extra meal tomorrow morning.

Ok.

I bought an extra tea egg this morning.

As for spending 200,000 emotional points to complete the entire Final Destination series?

Lin Ye had no such plan.

There are two main reasons.

First, the initial search objective has been achieved, not only testing the system's incredible capabilities but also earning a substantial amount of emotional points.

Secondly, Lin Ye needs to start preparing for his graduation project, and it is estimated that he will be in the process of proposing and approving the project in a while.

The emotional value consumed by the system when searching for videos is only related to the required quantity and level of detail of the work. Therefore, there is an extreme possibility of "consuming a lot of emotional value but getting a piece of garbage."

Lin Ye decided to first accumulate a wave of emotional points.

……

The next morning at 10:00 AM.

School Publicity Department, Network Information Center.

The main task of the Network Information Center is to operate the school's official website.

There's hardly any work to do normally, and the team is generally quite relaxed; everyone's gotten used to this pace.

With little to no work to do, there is no output, and those who come here almost only have one path: to wait until retirement. Therefore, this place is jokingly referred to as a "retirement home".

Sun Changlin, the person in charge, strolled leisurely to his workstation, leaned back in his office chair, and chatted casually with his team members. Only after almost everyone in the office had arrived did he turn on his computer.

Why weren't yesterday's data reports updated?

Sun Changlin casually flipped through the diary, speaking in a very relaxed tone.

"I'm sorry, Minister Sun, I was a little late today because of traffic. I'll update the data right away."

The team member in charge of data statistics hurriedly turned on the computer, entered the password to log in to the backend, filtered the date, and selected to export yesterday's data.

He glanced at the data casually, and his eyes froze instantly.

"Minister Sun...please...please come over...and take a look."

His voice trembled uncontrollably.

Sun Changlin frowned upon seeing this.

It seems he's been too lax in his management; I never expected that something as simple as updating data reports would require him to personally go and do it.

Sun Changlin got up and strode over, about to say a few words of scolding, when his gaze fell on the computer screen and he froze.

The website's traffic curve started to surge from noon yesterday, breaking the school's website's historical peak over the past decade, and even the traffic fluctuated at a fairly high level in the evening.

The team member in charge of data collection investigated the source and found that the data anomaly occurred in the online voting section of the "College Student Safety Education Warning Film".

Strangely, one student's submission received 99.9% of the views, and the comment section was flooded with tens of thousands of comments.

Everyone in the office gathered around.

Sun Changlin's face darkened: "A student's submission can generate this much traffic? Investigate the data source! If there's a problem, take down the video immediately and issue a public reprimand!"

"This data is so obviously fake!"

"Students these days are going to extreme lengths to get awards and recognition!"

"This is so brainless! The blatant smearing is too obvious!"

The office staff were buzzing with discussion.

Everyone assumed this was data manipulation.

This happens every year, but this time the data is so outrageously abnormal that, in their eyes, it's like the data has gone completely mad.

"What if...it's true?"

In the corner, a young girl who had just been assigned here this year spoke softly.

Everyone in the office turned their attention to her.

The little girl shakily raised her phone and pointed the screen at them.

"This is the number one trending topic on Weibo."

Everyone looked at each other.

The team member in charge of data statistics spoke up at this moment: "Minister Sun, the data I checked is correct; they are all active accounts from different access IPs..."

Sun Changlin gave the order decisively.

"I'll report this to the school. You guys monitor the data fluctuations closely, and contact me immediately if there are any problems!"

"Please have staff in the comments section to maintain order and prevent any trouble!"

After that, the office, which had been rather leisurely in the morning, suddenly became lively. The sound of keyboards being typed and the tense communication of team members intertwined. Sun Changlin, who walked to the door, smiled.

"Hey, I never thought a 'nursing home' could get so busy."

……

Principal's Office.

Sun Changlin and Zhou Zhou, the head of the directing department, sat opposite the old principal.

"Did something go wrong with that 'College Student Safety Education Warning Video' submission contest you organized?"

"No, no!" Sun Changlin quickly stood up and explained, "We came to see you to report that a competition video went viral and became the number one trending topic on Weibo. We checked it this morning and all the data is real, ruling out the possibility of vote rigging."

"We directing students would never do such a thing." Zhou Zhou sat upright on the sofa, a humble smile on his face, but a hint of calculation was hidden in his eyes.

Your department does this kind of thing the most.

Zhang Changlin secretly despised him.

Zhou Zhou, the head of the directing department, continued earnestly, "President, taking advantage of the film's popularity, we can promote the school effectively, which will benefit the school's enrollment and program ranking."

The old principal tapped his fingertips lightly on the table, looking at him calmly without saying a word.

How could someone as shrewd as him not know what the other person was thinking?

"Director Zhou, have you seen the film that the student made?"

"Of course I watched it."

Zhou Zhou is lying.

If Sun Changlin hadn't come to him just now and told him that a video submitted by a student from the directing department had gone viral, he wouldn't even have known about it.

But this did not prevent him from finding the key to the problem.

When a student's work becomes popular, it naturally leads to thoughts of the guidance provided by the instructor.

As for who the mentor is...

Then it depends on their sincerity.

After all, the number of places for school promotion and awards is limited, and there will always be people willing to spend money to buy "teaching results".

As for the students, a few threats and some benefits will suffice.

Radish and stick, everyone who's tried it says it's great.

It's been like this for so many years anyway.

That's always been the case.
