Fanatics of the Magic Academy

Rose arranged for Tiana to sit on the sofa at Hope's house.

Tiana was fast asleep, covered with a blanket.

Rose needs to deal with what happens next.

After advancing to the [Shining Ancient Dragon Follower] level, Rose felt a faint sense of slumber.

It was as if something was inviting him, and the way to go to that invitation was quite simple—

Engage in a deep [Gu Long Meditation].

However, what Rose was unsure about was what he would face after accepting the invitation.

How long will it take?

After evaluation and deliberation, Rose decided to put this on hold for the time being.

After handling the funeral arrangements and settling everything down, Rose will decide whether to accept the invitation.

Rose had a feeling that if he accepted the invitation, he would learn everything about his beliefs.

He had a premonition that all the mysteries about faith would be solved.

For example, the strange gods he worships, the absence of blood sacrifices in his lineage, and the strange conditions for advancement.

This might take a considerable amount of time, so Rose decided to settle everything first before facing this challenge.

Having figured things out, Rose ate some food and then engaged in a light form of "Ancient Dragon Meditation".

An electric current originating from an ancient dragon surged and circulated within his body.

Rose felt that after advancing to [Shining Ancient Dragon Follower], the effect of [Ancient Dragon Meditation] had improved significantly.

Significant improvements have been made in nutrient utilization, conversion efficiency, focus recovery, and physical conditioning.

Rose even felt that his stats would improve if he performed a deep Ancient Dragon Meditation.

His body will be tempered to become stronger and more refined, like a young ancient dragon.

However, now is not the time, because entering the [Deep Ancient Dragon Meditation] now would mean accepting the invitation from that unknown being.

But he still had other things to take care of.

Forehead......

In fact, although it was called an unknown existence, Rose already knew in his heart that the existence was the god he worshipped.

That deity, whom I've only met twice, the deity of the Ancient Dragon followers—

What was it called again?

God's.

After believing in gods for so long, in the end, you don't even know who you're believing in.

Soon, Rose woke up, her concentration fully restored, and her physical fatigue disappeared.

It can only be said that this is truly the foundational prayer of the "Gu Long believers".

Rose was able to learn a whole set of spells so quickly because of the rapid mana regeneration from [Ancient Dragon Meditation], which allowed her to ignore concentration and grind spell proficiency at will.

Rose casually activated [Materialism], lay down on the sofa, and opened the panel:

Name: Rose

Age: Six years old

Class: Shining-level Ancient Dragon Follower

Power: 12

Agility: 12

Focus: 52

Rationality: 0

Faith: 43 (increases by two points after a save throw and disintegration)

Traits:

[Fanatical Materialist] (Golden Trait):

1. Fanaticism: Your sanity cannot be increased; you can only increase your faith.

2. Materialism: By consuming Focus Points, you can temporarily convert all Faith Points into Reason.

3. Frenzied Rationality: When rationality drops below 0, it will be forcibly locked to 0, and negative rationality will be converted into positive faith points.

The Path of a Gu Long Follower:

【Bright Ancient Dragon Followers】:

Promotion requirements:

1. Faith Points: 150

【？？？】：Not unlocked. Please achieve 【Bright Ancient Dragon Follower】 first.

prayer:

Divine Prayer of the Divine Rank:

[Vitality Flow], [Lightning Gun], [Lightning Strike], [Electric Shock], [Ancient Dragon Meditation]

Bright-level divine spell prayer:

[Lightning Spear], [Precision Lightning Strike], [Lightning Guidance], [Lightning Entanglement], [Dragon Thunder Protection], [Steady-State Static Accumulation], [Ancient Dragon Healing]

First, he has already advanced to the [Shining-level Ancient Dragon Follower] level, removing the restrictions on increasing his faith.

Then the [Path of the Ancient Dragon Follower] revealed the next path:

The advancement requirements for [Bright Ancient Dragon Follower] are straightforward and simple—

Get your faith to 150 points.

Rose thought she was seeing things at first glance.

After taking another closer look, I realized I hadn't misread it.

No, advancing to the [Glimmering Ancient Dragon Follower] level requires 25 Faith points, while advancing to the [Shining Ancient Dragon Follower] level requires 40 Faith points.

Why does it take a full 150 points for the Bull Demon to reach the [Bright Ancient Dragon Follower] rank?

Rose frowned, then thought about it and realized it made sense.

The term "Bright Ancient Dragon Follower" should correspond to a third-circle mage.

According to Kenneth, a mage's advancement to the third ring will be a qualitative change.

First, there is a leap in life, with a significant increase in lifespan, averaging 150 years.

It was only then that Rose realized the true value of Rauken's third-circle mage.

Although Kenneth's later years were very miserable, Ross can imagine that Kenneth was definitely a big shot in his prime.

Even in Lovillia, his status should be quite remarkable.

Rose glanced at the [Bright-level Divine Prayer], but didn't know its power.

In any case, it consumes a lot of mana; even the least mana-consuming [Lightning Guidance] requires 10 points of focus.

However, perhaps for Ancient Dragon believers, mana is the one thing they have in abundance.

Because the foundational prayer of Gu Long believers, the "Gu Long Meditation," can improve concentration after a good night's sleep.

The [Thunder Spear] is an upgraded version of the [Lightning Spear], with a Faith modifier limit of 150 points, and is used for ranged prayer.

【Precision Lightning Strike】 is an upgraded version of 【Lightning Strike】, which can summon a pillar of lightning to pour down and strike, a powerful prayer-like attack.

【Lightning Guidance】 is an upgraded version of 【Electric Shock】, a basic attack-type prayer.

【Lightning Entanglement】 is similar to the first-level storm magic 【Storm Blade】, which can wrap lightning around weapons and the body to enhance basic attacks.

【Dragon's Blessing】 is a buff-type prayer, similar to 【Vitality Flow】, but 【Vitality Flow】 acts within the body.

【Dragon Thunder Blessing】acts externally, strengthening the body, reducing physical damage, and increasing speed. If I had to explain it...

It is more similar to the first-circle storm spell, "Transform into Clouds".

[Steady-state electrostatic accumulation] is rather strange; it can cause electric current to wrap around another person, continuously damaging their physical body.

Furthermore, when the opponent is attacked from the outside by prayers related to the ancient dragon faith, it will resonate with them from the inside, causing even greater damage.

Similar to a debuff? Applying a continuous negative effect to the opponent?

Finally, there is the [Ancient Dragon Healing], which uses the electric currents from the ancient dragon to rapidly circulate within the body, quickly clearing away foreign objects and negative effects.

【Gu Long Meditation】has a similar effect, but it is not as fast as 【Gu Long Healing】.

Furthermore, there is indeed some kind of relationship between the two; the stronger the ancient dragon current accumulated and generated within the body during [Ancient Dragon Meditation], the better.

The better the effect of the 【Gu Long Healing】.

From this perspective, the lineage of Gu Long's followers is quite comprehensive.

Rose has not yet witnessed the so-called blood sacrifice.

Rose fell into thought: Could it be that the book "The History of the Suppression of Believers" was lying?

No, that doesn't make sense. The author of this book wasn't trying to glorify the Magic Federation; he consulted a considerable amount of historical materials and related resources.

It was only in the end that it was written into the book. The author's writing is quite objective, after all, he even exposed the dirty secrets of the Damn Magic Federation Observation Point.

So where did the problem lie?
