Fanatics of the Magic Academy

Rose walked out of the underpass; there was a reason he refused Tiana and her father.

First, regarding his identity, based on his experience using [Materialism] several times, he has roughly determined that he has been depleted.

Maintaining a materialistic state for about an hour consumes 1 point of focus, and his 12 points of focus are not enough to cover the consumption throughout the day.

Spending a long time with these two people could easily expose her true colors. Tiana is alright, but I'm afraid she might be sold off by her father one day.

Secondly, although his physical strength has not fully recovered, his concentration has returned to 6 points, so he is not completely without the ability to protect himself.

Even if Tiana doesn't give him food, he can find a way to get it; if he gets really hungry, he'll just steal it!

However, this solution should only be used as a last resort.

Because he was a young child, he certainly couldn't get food, so he had to rely on the ancient dragon faith and prayer.

However, the prerequisite for initiating prayer is faith, and the restoration of faith will inevitably lead to the restoration of the physical characteristics of the believer.

If things aren't handled properly, it will definitely cause trouble.

Rose walked out of the underpass and ate her bread in a hurry. There was no point in hiding or hoarding it; it might even attract the attention of the homeless people in the neighborhood.

It's better to eat it now to quickly restore your stamina.

He began to consider what to do next.

Under his heightened sense of rationality, Rose felt that his thinking was exceptionally clear and his considerations were becoming increasingly rational.

First, you have to survive.

Second, conceal the identity of the believer and only use prayer as a last resort.

Third, he should find a way to advance in rank and discover a path to learn magic. With the blessing of [materialism], he can completely cultivate both magic and prayer.

Once he learns magic, he will be able to legally use a large amount of intelligence and faith points, which will make his survival more secure.

He remembered being dragged into the bathroom by that guard like a stray dog, and the feeling of helplessness and despair he never wanted to experience again.

After finishing his bread, he licked his fingers, feeling that he had regained some strength. He then opened the control panel.

prayer:

[Vitality Flow], [Lightning Gun], [Lightning Strike], [Electric Shock], [Ancient Dragon Meditation]

He began to take stock of the prayers he had as a [Glimmering Ancient Dragon Follower].

First is [Activate Internal Flow], which consumes 5 points of Focus to convert the current active in the Ancient Dragon's body into your own, temporarily increasing Strength by 15 points and Agility by 10 points, lasting for 2 minutes.

Putting everything else aside, the fact that he, a 6-year-old child, could punch someone so hard that his eye socket was split open is incredible. His physical abilities are comparable to Lu Zhishen's. It's simply amazing.

The left punch deals high damage, and the right punch deals high damage.

Next is the [Lightning Spear], which consumes 4 points of Focus. It transforms into a small lightning spear in your hand, which can be thrown. Its damage is affected by Faith, with a maximum bonus of 40 points of Faith.

This reminded Rose of the ancient dragon from her past life, which drew a thunder spear from the void that pierced the heavens and the earth, capable of killing Rose dozens of kilometers away with just its radiation.

This is clearly an imitation of Gu Long's moves, but an ultimate, ultimate youth version.

Next is [Lightning Strike], which consumes 9 points of Focus and summons lightning to pour down from the sky. The damage and range of the lightning strike are affected by Faith, with a maximum bonus of 40 points of Faith.

This is clearly a powerful prayer skill; it consumes a lot of resources but also deals high damage.

Next is [Electric Shock], which gathers lightning in the hand and can be used to strike quickly. It consumes 0.5 Focus and the damage is affected by Faith, with a maximum of 40 points.

This is clearly a prayer attack of the basic attack type, a youth version of the "Palm Thunder" skill.

Finally, there is the [Ancient Dragon Meditation], the most fundamental prayer for Ancient Dragon believers, which consumes no resources.

Close your eyes and imagine the ancient dragon flowing and swirling within your body; you can then begin your meditation.

The ancient dragon's inner flow is active within the body and communicates with the spirit.

It can quickly restore focus, replenish energy, and heal injuries.

Slowly increase the maximum potential of Strength, Agility, Faith, and Concentration.

Note: Using this product may lead to increased nutrient depletion!

Amazing! Incredible! It combines mana regeneration and health regeneration, and can also slowly increase stats.

Improving battery life and enhancing character development—truly the most fundamental prayer of Gu Long believers.

The only drawback is that it will lead to increased nutrient consumption, which is easy to understand, as energy is conserved.

However, it's insignificant compared to its effects.

This shows that Gu Long's followers can be said to be well-rounded in all aspects, a perfect all-rounder with no weaknesses.

As the saying goes, "Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will win every battle."

Despite his limited concentration, Rose did not actually use these prayers.

However, after gaining a general understanding, I had a better grasp of the prayers of Gu Long's followers, so I wouldn't be caught off guard if I were to use them.

Coming to her senses, Rose was already walking on the streets of the slums; it was getting dark.

It's called a street, but it's really no different from a garbage dump, with piles of trash and tattered tents everywhere.

Several homeless men stood in front of the tent, leaning against the wall or bending over so low they started convulsing, clearly having gotten too much marijuana.

Rose couldn't help but sigh:

"The Magic City is truly a place of outstanding people and abundant resources!"

Just as he was about to walk away, his exceptional observational skills, granted by his high level of rationality, led him to discover something unusual.

He discovered that the homeless man, bent over at the extreme, with his arms hanging down and his whole body convulsing, was actually looking at him!

Despite his eyes rolling back, Rose felt a strange gaze upon him.

Rose then noticed the source of the gaze: the "tumor" on the back of the homeless man's head!

Just as it was getting dark, Rose didn't see clearly. Now that he focused his attention, he realized that the tumor on the back of the homeless man's head was actually an eye!

The eye darted restlessly as the homeless man's body twitched.

And next to that eye, on the side of the homeless man's neck, there was a tiny fleshy bud swaying.

With her keen observation, Rose discovered that the fleshy bud was clearly a small hand with distinct joints!

This horrifying scene almost made it impossible for Rose to maintain her materialistic state.

The blood vessels in the whites of his eyes gleamed with a golden light, and his pupils were almost constricted into vertical slits.

"What the hell is this?! This poet?!"

If he were to open the panel at this moment, he would find that the values of Faith and Reason on the panel would flash alternately.

But soon, Rose regained his composure, the alienation originating from the ancient dragon cultists began to dissipate, and his pupils returned to their original azure round pupils.

He sized up the homeless man, thinking to himself:

Why did he become like this?

"Did they get some kind of contamination, eat something, drink some kind of medicine, undergo some kind of experiment, or...?"

Rose looked at the needles scattered haphazardly on the ground.

"Because you took drugs?!"

Is there something wrong with this medicine?!

Rose frowned. "Drugging drugs is a bit too much, to be honest."

Who would be so bored as to scheme against a group of homeless people?

With that thought in mind, Rose turned into a dark alley.

He had just turned in when three people followed closely behind and also turned in.

The three men were of different heights: one was tall and thin, one was short and thin, and one was tall and strong.

The tall, thin man held a small knife, the short, thin man held a piece of cloth, obviously for sealing mouths, and the tall, strong man held a long knife.

The three of them went inside and found that the little fat sheep was nowhere to be found.

The three of them had been watching that little fat sheep for a long time. The little fat sheep was clearly not a child raised in the slums, but he didn't seem to be from a wealthy family either.

Healthy and developing well, this is definitely top-quality goods.

Whether you sell it alive, dead, broken up, or a combination of all three, you can get an excellent price.

The tall, thin man said to the tall, strong man:

"Boss, where did that fat sheep go?"

The tall, burly man looked around; all he saw was darkness. He frowned and cursed.

"Damn it, this is really weird. In just a short while, how come that little fat sheep didn't..."

Before he could finish speaking, a childish voice came from behind him.

"Hey, what are you looking for?"

They turned around and what came into view was—

Vertical, gilded pupils that pierce the darkness!
