Primordial Era: Starting with the Immortals of the Jie Sect to Prove the Dao of Hunyuan

"The five elements are the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys. Fire, wood, earth, metal, and water—the five elements' energies each return to their proper place, which is called 'returning to the origin.'"

Li Qing closed his eyes and looked inward. The five elements in his chest were now complete. The five colors of light—green, red, yellow, white, and black—flowed endlessly, generating each other and circulating without ceasing.

Above each of the five internal organs, there is a divine beast that controls the five elements.

This is the sign that the first stage of Taiyi Golden Immortal cultivation has been completed.

"Strive diligently in your cultivation to attain the Great Luo realm as soon as possible! However, for now, you must first undertake the second stage of cultivation for the Taiyi Golden Immortal, returning the Five Elements Qi to their innate state!"

Li Qing closed his eyes, and various scriptures and doctrines surfaced in his mind.

"Seven returns of cinnabar to the original state, nine returns of golden elixir to the true nature."

The so-called "returning to one's original nature" means reversing the acquired five elements into the innate primordial energy.

The Five Elements originated from the differentiation of the primordial state. Now, by reversing this process, we are essentially retracing a small part of the path of creation in a certain sense.

This road is neither particularly difficult nor particularly easy.

The difficulty lies in not finding the right method; even millions of years of arduous practice will be in vain.

The easy part is that if you have a wise teacher to guide you, although it is also difficult, as long as you have enough understanding and find the key points, you can still succeed naturally.

Li Qing's comprehension was undoubtedly extremely high. The Tongtian Sect Master had been preaching for five hundred years and had clearly broken down the key points of the teachings. He also understood them perfectly.

If you are too slow, the five elements will dissipate, all previous efforts will be wasted, and you will need to regroup them.

Since arriving in the prehistoric world, he has never lacked patience, and his greatest skill is this kind of meticulous work.

Time flies in the mountains; ten thousand years pass in the blink of an eye.

It floated in the ancestral aperture, emitting a hazy, clear light.

Wherever the clear light passed, the five elements in the chest, the power of the meridians, the flesh and bones all seemed to be cleansed.

Li Qing felt completely relaxed, as if he had been freed from invisible shackles.

"Is this the primordial energy?"

He stretched out his palm, and with a thought, a clear light appeared in his palm.

This clear light is unlike any of the five elements magic; it contains no attribute of metal, wood, water, fire, or earth, yet it seems to contain all attributes.

Using innate Qi to activate spells increases their power by at least 50%.
