Great Wilderness Lord: System Intelligence Updated Daily

Chapter 88: Treat others as they treat you.

They gave the Rock Bear tribe no chance to catch their breath.

The second day after the war.

early morning.

The genius was just beginning to emerge.

Yang Erde's team was already fully prepared to set off.

The main force of the Cangmang Territory, along with the hunters of the Fire Wolf Tribe, were combined into a single force and marched in a mighty procession toward the northeast.

Prepare to retaliate in kind.

Yang Erde rode his red horse at the very front.

He held in his hand a simple map passed down through generations of the Fire Wolf tribe.

The location of the Rock Bear tribe had already been marked by the old chief. All that was needed was to cross the ridge in front of them and walk another seven or eight miles to reach it.

Saintess Hero rode a captured wildebeest beast beside Yang Erde.

She made a point of changing into clean clothes.

Her dark red long hair was also braided into a thick braid, hanging down her back.

Her amber eyes would occasionally glance at Yang Erde at the front, while her fingers unconsciously fiddled with the bone ornament at her waist.

The old chieftain sat in a carriage, his body still wrapped in bandages, but he was in much better spirits than yesterday. He lifted the curtain, his aged eyes fixed on the distant mountain ridge, unable to imagine that the Fire Wolf tribe, which had been oppressed for generations, would one day be able to turn the tables and attack the overlord tribe.

Reinhardt also rode alongside Younger.

The aura of a fourth-tier powerhouse faintly emanated, intimidating the wandering magical beasts around and protecting the team.

Glenn and Alice were positioned on the left and right sides, respectively.

Alice had just broken through to the third tier in battle yesterday, and she was still full of energy and eager to try again. Her fiery red high ponytail fluttered in the morning breeze.

The team crossed the mountain ridge.

My vision suddenly opened up.

The old chief leaned out of the carriage and pointed ahead:

"My lord, that's the territory of the Rock Bear Clan!"

Yang Erde looked in the direction he was pointing.

The Rock Bear tribe was situated on a flat area between two hills. The tribe was surrounded by a wall made of thick wooden stakes, about two people high, with the tops of the stakes sharpened to a very point.

The security measures were also quite tight.

Every few steps along the wall, you can see a sentry post where several Rock Bear Clan subhumans are standing guard.

The village is sparsely populated, with only a few dozen houses in total.

Although they are called houses, they are actually similar to those of the Fire Wolf tribe, both being sheds made of logs and animal hides. They are just a bit larger than the huts of the Fire Wolf tribe, but they are not particularly sturdy.

In the very center stood a large tent.

It stood much taller than the other huts around it, and a faded bear-head flag was planted on top of the tent to signify its status.

"That's Iron Bones' tent."

The old chief pointed it out, his tone somewhat complicated.

The last time he came, he was obsequious, but this time, the two sides were on different levels, all thanks to the young human lord beside him.

Jan Erde pulled on the reins.

He examined it carefully for a moment.

The Rock Bear tribe's reaction was quieter, or rather, more confident, than he had expected.

Although only a small number of able-bodied men, the elderly, and children remained in the tribe due to the army's departure, these Rock Bear tribe sub-people had great confidence in their chieftain and believed that the expedition was a sure thing.

"They don't know the news yet?"

Alice tilted her head as she looked at the leisurely Rock Bear tribe demi-humans in the tribe.

"It's better if they don't know, it'll give us a chance to catch them off guard."

Yang Erde didn't care how the Rock Bear tribe reacted.

Even the allied forces, which had come with great fanfare, had been completely wiped out. No matter how much the elderly, weak, sick, and disabled people who remained in the tribes struggled, their fate was already sealed.

At this time.

Reinhardt suddenly narrowed his eyes:

"Those sentries on the wall seem to be us; they're looking this way."

The arrival of the large army caused quite a stir.

The Rock Bear tribe could not possibly be completely unaware of this.

After the sentry reported the news.

The horn sounded immediately, its deep sound spreading across the plain.

They had assumed it was the chieftain leading his army in triumph.

They were preparing to leave the tribe to greet them.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the Fire Wolf tribe had led humans to attack.

He was immediately thrown into chaos.

The woman, holding her child, hid inside the house.

The old man leaned on his cane, his steps trembling.

Only a few strong soldiers who remained grabbed their weapons and rushed toward the wall, attempting to put up a last-ditch resistance.

"It's the Fire Wolf Tribe! And humans too!"

"Why did they attack?!"

"Where is the tribal alliance? Where is the chieftain? Could it be...?"

"Don't panic! The tribe's walls are sturdy; they can't break through!"

"But...but those human armors..."

"What's wrong with armor? We're the strong Rock Bear tribe! Weak humans aren't anything to be afraid of!"

The Rock Bear Clan's squad leader shouted loudly.

To boost morale.

But he himself couldn't stop trembling.

Even his voice was trembling.

Instead of immediately ordering an attack, Young gave Glenn a wink.

Glenn nodded.

With a wave of his hand.

The knights immediately raised several long poles high.

At the top of these long poles, several heads were suspended by ropes, swaying slightly in the morning breeze.

These were the corpses of the high-ranking members of the Rock Bear tribe.

Chief Ironbone, Elder Ironhammer, Second Elder Irontooth, and Young Chief Golden were all present, not one missing.

They were all beheaded.

On the Rock Bear tribe's side, a deathly silence fell on the wall, followed by a panic of extreme terror!

"Chief...Chief?"

One of the sentries suddenly collapsed to the ground, unable to get up for a long time.

"That's the Grand Elder! The Grand Elder too...!"

"And the Second Elder..."

"Impossible, absolutely impossible!"

Panic spread rapidly through the Rock Bear tribe like a plague.

From the chieftain to the elders, and then to the young chieftain, the tribe's strongest fighters were all killed without exception, which was nothing short of a bolt from the blue for the Rock Bear tribe demi-humans.

The woman held her child and cried out.

The old man's vision went black, and he fainted.

Even the soldiers on the walls were trembling with disbelief as they gripped their weapons.

Reinhardt rode forward.

The longsword was drawn.

At this moment, the fourth-order battle qi was released without reservation.

Golden battle aura swirled around him, and an invisible pressure descended from the sky like a mountain, enveloping the entire tribe.

On the top of the wall.

The few remaining Rock Bear warriors trembled.

"Four...fourth tier...!"

"This group of humans actually has a fourth-tier powerhouse!"

The squad leader gritted his teeth, trying to rebuild the scattered morale and inspire the tribe's will to resist:

"Don't be afraid, there aren't many of them!"

"We have city walls; we can defend it!"

"For the tribe, for the sacrificed chief, let's fight them to the death!"

And so.

The few remaining Rock Bear Clan soldiers climbed over the wall.

Grip the spear tightly and draw the bow.

Yang Erde shook his head: "Break down the gate!"

"Yes, my lord!"

Reinhardt immediately accepted the order.

Infuse the fourth-tier longsword with metallic battle aura.

He casually waved his hand forward.

A golden sword light shot out with unstoppable force.

The Rock Bear tribe's proud gate and sturdy walls were utterly powerless against Reinhardt's casual sword strike, and were completely destroyed.

A huge gap was created.

"charge!"
