Yu-Gi-Oh!: Don't you have your own cards?

Sometimes, the relationship between Duel Monsters and Duelists is like that of a married couple who have been together for many years.

To spend a lifetime together, to protect each other, and to miss each other when we haven't seen each other for a long time.

At this moment, Kong Que Wu no longer wanted to see that [Masked Beast Death Guardian].

"Don't just stand there, Sister Wu!"

"The effect of 'Shallow Graveyard' applies to both sides; you also have to choose one monster to play on the field."

Looking at the boy opposite her, with his sunny smile and holding up the [Masked Beast Death Guardian], Kong Que Wu's delicate hands trembled slightly involuntarily.

She let out a long breath.

"I choose the Amazonian fighter in the cemetery."

And so, [Masked Beast Death Guardian] returned to Yutian's field.

You Tian glanced at the area where the peacocks were dancing and pondered for a moment: "Two already? Then let's leave it at that!"

"I change [The Chains of the Amazons] to Defense Position, set three cards face down, and end my turn."

……

Twenty years ago, Kong Quewu's parents met with an accident and both tragically passed away. Since then, she has been facing the world alone.

A few years later, in order to make a living, she became a casino dealer on a cruise ship.

After working as a croupier for many years, Peacock Dance discovered something.

That is: humans are not much different from animals.

Animals will fight and disguise themselves to survive and satisfy their desires.

And people are the same.

The people at the gambling tables were like a pack of wolves. They seemed to get along well, but in reality, they were wary of each other and always plotting to devour the others.

Those who approached her because of her beauty were like hypocritical peacocks. They appeared glamorous, but in reality, it was nothing more than a disguise to satisfy their sordid desires.

She herself was like a tiger in the jungle. She wandered alone through the forest, driven by a single belief: survival!

Today, he saw a different species, namely—the Wandering Sky.

This guy is practically a trap, a shotgun, and a poacher!

Why does he always try to take advantage of others?!

No! I can't watch this boy sink into the world of the minotaurs!

Minotaur have no future!

Axe King's style of combat is the way to go!

I have to get him out of here! I'm going to beat him!

At this moment, Peacock Dance had forgotten that the purpose of this duel was to push her to her limits.

Currently, my [Amazonian Pet Tiger Lion] can destroy his [Masked Monster Deathbringer], but after that monster dies, it will forcibly control one of my monsters...

"My turn, draw a card!"

"You Tian, I've already told you, the same tricks won't work on me anymore!"

The heavens are silent.

"I summon [Princess of the Amazons] from my hand once again. Based on the princess's effect, I add the quick-play spell [Amazon's Secret] from my deck to my hand."

You Tian's pupils contracted slightly.

"When an Amazonian monster is summoned to my field, the Amazonian Pet Tiger in my Graveyard can be Special Summoned automatically."

[Amazonian Tiger Cub] [Defense: 500]

"Then, the effect of [Amazonian Spirit Sorcerer] in the graveyard activates, and I Special Summon this card in Defense Position by returning [Amazonian Princess] to my hand."

"If this card is successfully Special Summoned, I may search my Deck for one more [Fusion] card."

Peacock Dance hand card +1.

You Tian nodded slightly: "You summoned so many monsters all at once?"

Peacock Dance: "It's not over yet! I'll flip and summon the Amazonian warriors that you resurrected with your 'Shallow Burial' again."

"Let's fight, Yuten!"

"I'll attack your Earth Spirit Master Ors with [Amazonian Fighter] first. While the Field Spell [Amazon Village] is on the field, all Amazonian monsters gain 200 ATK."

"Therefore, the attack power of the [Amazonian Fighter] is—1700!"

[Earth Spirit Master Aus] [Defense: 1500]

boom!

The young magician was unable to stop the opponent's attack this time.

"The Earth Spirit Master Os has been destroyed, therefore, the Amazon's Chain Master will also return to my field."

The young chain-wielder, as if finally freed from the demon's control, returned to the peacock dance stage in great panic.

"Now, all you have left on the field is that [Masked Beast Death Guardian] with its back facing down!"

"I attacked the Masked Beast Death Guardian with the [Amazonian Pet Tiger Lion]!"

"When the Amazonian pet tiger/lion attacks, its attack power will increase by 500 points!"

[Amazonian Pet Tiger/Lion] [Attack Power: 2700→3200]

The beast's sharp blade sliced open its back, revealing the monster.

【Masked Beast Death Guardian】【Defense: 2500】

boom!

Defeat the Masked Demon Beast Death Guardian!

You Tian: "At this moment, the effect of [Masked Beast Death Guardian] activates again. I can equip one [Masked of Last Words] from my deck to your [Amazonian Pet Tiger Lion] and gain control of it!"

Unexpectedly, the peacock dance was interrupted by raising her hand.

"I've already told you, the same tricks won't work on me!"

"I unleash a quick-play spell from my hand: [Amazon's Secret Art]!"

You Tian: "As expected."

Mai Peacock: "Based on the effect of this card, I can send the Fusion Material Monsters specified by the Amazon Fusion Monster Card from my hand or field to the Graveyard, and Fusion Summon 1 of those Fusion Monsters from my Extra Deck!"

"I'm sending my Level 7 [Amazonian Pet Lion] and [Amazonian Pet Cub] to the Graveyard for a Fusion Summon!"

"Fusion requirements: Amazonian monster of level 5 or higher + Amazonian monster".

"King of the jungle, freed from your chains, devour your enemies with your fangs!"

"Fusion Summon! [Amazonian Tiger Lion King]!"

Attack power: 2900 → 3100

You Tian raised his head, looking at the giant tiger on the opposing team's field, slightly lost in thought.

"Since the [Amazonian Pet Tiger Lion] has entered the cemetery, your [Mask of Last Words] is ineffective!"

You Tian remained silent.

"It's not over yet! Little brother Youtian, my Battle Phase is still ongoing. Right now, you don't have any monsters on your field!"

"Go forth, [Amazonian Tiger and Lion King]!"

The giant tiger opened its scarlet vertical pupils, its breath mingling with the stench of blood, and suddenly attacked You Tian.

boom!

Another cloud of smoke and dust filled the air.

"It's done... huh?"

When the smoke and dust cleared, You Tian was completely unharmed.

"How is this possible?!" Kong Quewu exclaimed in surprise.

You Tian gestured to Kong Que Wu, and a trap card appeared from the smoke and dust.

"I activated this card, 'Security Ball,' which can change the appearance of one monster you control."

"Therefore, [Amazon Tiger Lion King] has switched to a defensive stance and cannot attack me."

Peacock Dance: ...

After a moment of silence, Kong Quewu slowly exhaled a breath of stale air.

"I place a card face down, and the turn ends."

It's time for You Tian's turn again.

"Younger brother You Tian," Kong Quewu said.

You Tian raised his head.

"You probably have a lot of cards used to counter your opponent's monsters, right?"

"I currently have four monsters on the field: [Amazonian Tiger King], [Amazonian Fighter], [Amazonian Chain Master], and [Amazonian Spirit Master]. You can only win one or two at most."

"Next turn, I will summon a new monster and deplete your health."

"Hey, your dueling skills are very high; you shouldn't be any worse than me..."

"How about it? From now on, let's use some decent cards instead of those... bull cards."

You Tian rubbed his chin.

"A great duelist once said, 'The final outcome of a duel cannot be judged by a momentary advantage.'"

Kong Quewu was stunned.

Isn't this what I said at the very beginning?

Wait, how come even my lines are so awesome?

Peacock Dance wanted to persuade You Tian, but You Tian had already started doing it.

"Sister Wu, in fact, there are no limits to what minotaurs can do!"

Peacock Dance: ?

"At the end of your turn, I activate the face-down Spell Card [Scapegoat]. Depending on its effect, I can summon four Sheep Tokens on the field."

Meow~ x4.

In an instant, four adorable little sheep appeared on the field.

Kong Quewu frowned.

He had seen Jonouchi use this "Scapegoat" card before and knew its effects.

This card is usually used for defense, right? Why would Yuten activate this card at this point after he's already attacked?

The peacock dance's question was quickly answered.

You Tian: "My turn, draw a card."

"I activate the spell card from my hand again, [Pot of Greed], draw two cards."

Yu Tian: "Now, I have 4 monsters on the field, and you also have 4 monsters on the field, which meets the activation conditions."

"I activated the hidden trap card, [Swap Hero]."

"This card can be activated when both players have the same number of monsters on their fields; we exchange control of those monsters!"

Peacock Dance: "Nani!!!!!"

You Tian smiled.

"Sister Wu, I'll gladly accept your four monsters on the field~"
