Yu-Gi-Oh!: Don't you have your own cards?

Seeing the Executioner Macula heading straight for him, You Tian calmly spoke up: "That won't do~"

"Open the Faceless Void card, Quick-Play Spell [Book of the Moon]."

"With the effect of [Book of the Moon] activated, this card can change 1 monster on the field to face-down Defense Position."

Buzz! A soft beam of moonlight shone from the Book of the Moon, illuminating Macula the Executioner.

Then, Machula flipped over.

"Damn it!" Seeing his attack thwarted, Malik was filled with resentment.

"Round over."

You Tian nodded slightly.

"My turn, draw a card."

He glanced at the card he had drawn, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Is this a case of "the dead coming back to life"?

Although, with the Millennium Scales around me, the Winged Rathalos's attacks weren't so easy to kill me.

However, if I am attacked, I will still suffer great pain.

If I use [Monster Resurrection] to revive the Winged Dragon of Ra, will I be able to stop Malik from using Kill again?

Oh no!

You Tian shook his head.

Using the Winged Dragon requires reading the ancient Egyptian text on it, which we don't recognize.

This method works for games and for seahorses, but not for myself.

Well then, that's settled!

"I activate the Spell Card from my hand, [Monster Resurrection]."

"What I wish to resurrect is the [Masked Beast Death Guardian] from my graveyard!"

[Masked Beast Death Guardian] is resurrected! [Attack Power: 3300]

Everyone: "Great! Yuten has summoned another powerful monster! This time, Malik is definitely going to lose!"

Seeing himself finally resurrected from the graveyard, the Death Guardian shed tears of joy. "Waaah, Master, thank you for still thinking of me!"

You Tian: ...

"Battle has begun. Go forth, Death Guardian, attack the [Executioner Macura] he's covering."

The Death Guardian wiped away his tears and entered battle mode. He lay prone on the ground and charged towards the [Executioner Macula], who was currently in a covered state.

boom!

Unsurprisingly, [Executioner Macula] was defeated!

"Hahaha! You've fallen for it, You Tian."

Unexpectedly, Malik, whose only barrier had been breached, burst into laughter again.

"【Macula the Executioner】effect activated: The turn this card is destroyed by battle, I can activate a Trap Card from my hand!"

"I'm going to activate this card from my hand: [Zombie's Gem]!"

In an instant, a bright light shone from You Tian's grave. Then, the light flew straight into Malik's hand.

"You can take one Spell Card from your Graveyard that was sent to the Graveyard this turn!"

"And what I want, of course, is the [Monster Resurrection] that you sent to the graveyard this turn!"

Game: "Oh no! Malik got [Monster Resurrection] again! Now he can resurrect from the graveyard again!"

Jōnei glanced at Yūten with a hint of worry.

"It's alright, You Tian now possesses a millennium-old artifact, the Winged Dragon's attack won't do anything to him!"

Malik looked into the city with a slightly mocking gaze.

Hmph! Idiot! Laco has another effect!

When You Tian saw that Malik had used a trap to obtain [Monster Resurrection] again, he clicked his tongue in disapproval.

He was naturally aware of the effects of [Macula the Executioner].

However, in this turn, Malik only has one card in his hand, and even if the Executioner's effect is activated, he can only use one trap at most.

If Malik draws a trap in the next turn, or replenishes his hand in some way, he will be in an even more passive position if he tries to destroy the Executioner later.

Therefore, he decisively attacked with the Death Guardian.

However, what he didn't expect was that Malik was holding this card.

"That concludes my round."

Now it's Malik's turn again.

"My turn, draw a card!"

"Hahahaha!" Malik couldn't help but burst into laughter again when he saw the card he had drawn.

"You Tian, it seems you're doomed this time!"

You Tian frowned slightly.

Malik...

"I will activate the [Monster Resurrection] card I obtained from you from my hand!"

"Rise again! [Ra's Winged Dragon]!"

Fierce flames erupted once again from Malik's grave.

huh~~

With a sharp screech, [Ra's Winged Dragon] descended onto the field once more.

Jonouchi: "Hang in there, Yuten! If we can just withstand one more pull effect, Malik is doomed to lose!"

"Hmph!" Malik snorted disdainfully.

"Idiot! Do you think I'll ever use the power of the Phoenix God again?"

Upon hearing himself called an idiot, Jonouchi immediately flew into a rage. "You bastard! What did you say?!"

Malik ignored everything inside the city and turned his gaze to You Tian.

"Let me show you Ra's third ability!"

Game: "What! Ra actually has a hidden ability?!"

Then, Malik clenched his fists and crossed them in front of his chest.

An ancient, obscure language was chanted from Malik's mouth.

As he chanted, Malik's entire body seemed to dissolve into mist and slowly disappeared.

Everyone was shocked. "This is!!"

You Tian's gaze was stern.

Is it coming? The fusion with Winged Rathalos.

Before long, Malik had almost completely disappeared. Where he had stood, only an eye and the arm that had been wearing the Duel Disk remained.

Where is he?

"Hahahaha!"

Suddenly, Malik's laughter came from above the Winged Dragon's head.

Everyone looked in the direction of the sound and saw that Malik had already merged with the Winged Dragon of Ra!

Castle Life: "W-this!"

He was so shocked that he couldn't speak.

The game's pupils constricted; the seahorse stared in disbelief at the unscientific scene before it.

The others were even more dumbfounded.

"Hahaha! Ra's last special ability is that it allows players to merge with a god!"

"The player sacrificed all but 1 point of health, converting the rest into attack power!"

Malik LP: 2600→1

【Ra's Winged Dragon】【Attack Power: 2599】

"This! I never expected that Ra would have such an ability!" Yugi couldn't help but exclaim.

Jonouchi: "Hmph! Even if you summon a Winged Dragon of Ra with 2599 attack power in one turn, you still can't defeat the [Masked Beast Death Guardian] on the field!"

Upon hearing this, Malik let out a cold laugh.

"Oh? Is that so?"

He turned his gaze to the Death Guardian on the parade ground.

"Hmph! I'm going to attack your monster! Divine Flame Cannon!"

"What!" everyone exclaimed in surprise.

"Has Malik gone mad? Ra's attack power is only 2599, she can't possibly beat You Tian's Death Guardian!"

You Tian also frowned deeply at this moment.

The Winged Dragon of Ra on the field, upon hearing Malik's command, had begun to condense its divine flame cannon.

Just then, Malik spoke again. "At this very moment, I will Special Summon this thing in my hand!"

hum!

As Malik slammed a card onto the Duel Disk, a strangely shaped, purple-colored monster was projected.

[Curse of the Heretic] [Attack Power: 1700]

You Tian: So this is the card!

"Hahaha! This guy can be Special Summoned during monster battles, at which point I recover 1000 HP!"

Malik LP: 1→1001

"It's not over yet! This card can increase its attack power by 1000 points by liberating itself during the battle phase!"

"I'm going to dedicate all the health I just recovered, along with [Curse of the Heretic], to Ra! Therefore, Ra's attack power is 4599!"

Everyone: "What?!"

Malik LP: 1001→1

【Ra's Winged Dragon】【Attack Power: 2599→3599→4599】!

Game: "Oh no! Even with the Millennium Scales, Yuten can't escape unscathed from such a fierce frontal attack!"

Jonouchi: "Yutian!!"

The next moment, the divine flame cannon condensed by the Winged Dragon of Ra was suddenly launched.

boom!

"Aaaaaah!!!"
