Douluo Continent: Huo Yuhao's Path of the Knights

About one or two months later.

Standing on the streets of Mingdu, the capital of the Sun and Moon Empire, the armored man raised his hands high:

"Wuhu has successfully become the world's highest city... no, Mingdu! It's so beautiful, Mingdu!"

Huo Yuhao: "..."

Feeling the strange looks from those around him, eleven-year-old Huo Yuhao felt a little embarrassed.

Unlike the boy's embarrassment, the armored man and the man in the trench coat were completely unaffected by those around them, as if they had experienced similar things many times before.

"Let's go, young man, let's go see the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy, the most prestigious soul tool academy in the Sun Moon Empire."

They continued to split up, with the armored man taking Huo Yuhao with him and the man in the trench coat acting alone.

As Armored Brother led Huo Yuhao toward the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy, Huo Yuhao couldn't help but recall their cross-border trip.

Due to their identity issues, the armored men had to resort to special means to obtain legal status.

He is no longer Huo Yuhao of the Star Luo Empire, but an eleven-year-old boy from a remote village in the Sun Moon Empire.

And the armored guy and the big boss naturally became his nominal guardians.

Although……

Huo Yuhao stared at the armored man in front of him, then glanced back at the direction where the big boss was.

Although they were only relatives in name, Huo Yuhao could feel genuine warmth from Armored Guy and Boss.

The care they showed me was something I had never felt from anyone other than my mother.

They were like my own family...

As Huo Yuhao was deeply moved, the two arrived in front of the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy.

"It looks quite impressive, but it seems like the enrollment period has already passed."

After looking around, the armored man couldn't find any signs that said "recruitment".

"How about we come back next year, Armor Guy?"

"We've already made an agreement, how can we go back on our word? Besides, we're already here. Even if we can't get in through the regular admissions process, we can try the special admissions process."

"Can I also get special admissions?"

Huo Yuhao's gaze fell on the tall and exquisite building, but he quickly looked away.

Such a top-tier school must require exceptional talent to gain admission through special enrollment...

"You always have to give it a try, young man. Opportunities are always earned. If you want to become stronger and move up in society, you often have to fight for them!"

Get stronger...

Huo Yuhao nodded vigorously, his pessimism turning into determination, and his gaze toward the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy no longer wavered.

Armor Guy is right. If he doesn't try and fight, he will never have a chance to become stronger!

His talent was already inferior to others, so he could only become stronger and fulfill his obsession by seizing more opportunities!

"Okay, armored guy, I'm willing to give it a try!"

Seeing the boy's eyes brighten, the armored man nodded:

"Okay, let's give it a try."

……

After a brief exchange, the armored man and Huo Yuhao understood the requirements for being admitted to the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy through special admissions.

Because it is a special admissions program, the requirements are higher than those for regular admissions. Applicants must either have exceptional talent or a good background.

In addition, special admissions require corresponding assessments, and only those with confirmed potential can be admitted to the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy.

"The assessment includes talent testing, knowledge of soul tools, practical combat, comprehension, etc. You don't need to be perfect in every aspect. As long as you show enough potential, you can be admitted exceptionally. However, you need to apply three days in advance to take the assessment."

A relevant person in charge explained in a flat tone, her gaze casually sweeping over Huo Yuhao before landing on the armored man.

Why is this person wearing armor that isn't even a soul tool?

The armored man ignored the strange look in the other person's eyes and applied for special admissions as usual.

"Fill out the information here, then go back. You'll get preliminary results in three days. Come back then to find out if you're eligible for further assessment."

The relevant personnel then handed over a blank form.

"it is good."

Following the instructions on the form, Huo Yuhao wrote down his current situation.

After filling out the form and handing it to the other party, Huo Yuhao prepared to leave with the armored man.

But after the person in charge saw Huo Yuhao's information, she suddenly spoke up again:

"Little friend, are you sure you didn't fill in the wrong information!?"

"no."

Huo Yuhao turned around and answered softly.

"So your martial soul is the Spirit Eye, a spirit-type physical martial soul?!"

"Yes."

Huo Yuhao's eyes flashed, and his Spirit Eye Martial Soul was instantly released, with a platinum-gold soul ring surrounding his body.

Upon seeing that Huo Yuhao truly possessed the Spirit Eye Martial Soul, the person in charge was initially taken aback, then smiled and nodded.

"Very good. Please make sure to come back in three days. Your talent is good, and your martial soul is very suitable for the development of soul tools. As long as you perform normally in the subsequent assessment, there is a great chance that you will be admitted through special admission."

"Thanks."

……

Back at the rented hotel, the Kabuto insect device left inside flew up to greet Huo Yuhao, but Huo Yuhao was still thinking about what had just happened.

Compared to Shrek Academy's strict requirements on soul power level, Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy places more emphasis on the potential of soul tools.

"How is it, young man? You can take the test in three days. If all goes well, you will be a member of the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy."

The armored man patted Huo Yuhao on the head, but Huo Yuhao suddenly remembered something.

Huo Yuhao hesitated for a moment, then looked up at the armored man:

"By the way, Armor Guy, if I really get into the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy, will we have to part ways?"

"Yes, after all, the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy is a boarding school, so most of your food, clothing, and lodging will be provided at the school."

"So, where will you guys go after I enroll?"

"Don't worry, young man, we won't give up on you. You're already one of us. Unless you choose to give up yourself, we definitely won't abandon you."

The armored man, who understood Huo Yuhao's feelings, spoke with certainty and his gentle voice gradually calmed Huo Yuhao's tense heart.

"However, we will be leaving for a period of time while you are at school. We will not be leaving the Sun and Moon Empire, but leaving this world."

"Leave this world?!"

Huo Yuhao suddenly remembered that Armored Guy and the others were not from this world. If that was the case, then they might indeed have a way to travel between worlds.

"What are you guys doing, armored guys?"

"We need to find items to repair your belt. After all, there are Zerg in this world, and we can't stay here all the time. So we need to give you the power to fight against the Zerg."

"A power capable of fighting against the Zerg..."

Huo Yuhao murmured softly.
