Douluo Continent: Huo Yuhao's Path of the Knights

A few days later, Huo Yuhao walked towards his dormitory after completing the Level 2 Soul Master assessment.

The Level 2 Soul Master assessment was no longer a problem for Huo Yuhao.

"As the teacher said, the next step is to temporarily focus on cultivating soul power."

Looking at the brand-new Level 2 Soul Master badge in his hand, Huo Yuhao pondered his future plans.

"There are less than two weeks left until the holiday, I need to hurry!"

The semester at the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy is only five months long, and Huo Yuhao enrolled a little later than expected.

Therefore, after he completed the Level 2 Soul Master assessment, there was not much time left before his vacation.

"I wonder when Armor Guy and the others will be back..."

Huo Yuhao murmured something under his breath, but then stopped thinking about it.

He should focus on doing his current job well!

Huo Yuhao headed towards the dormitory, but halfway there, he saw Senior Hu, who had previously mentored him.

"Hello, senior."

"It's Yuhao! You've passed the Level 2 Soul Master assessment?"

"Yes, senior, I just got back from finishing."

"Wow, Yuhao, you're amazing! You became a Level 2 Soul Master so quickly, in less than four months..."

Senior Hu couldn't help but admire, but then sighed:

"I have to say, Yuhao, being your senior must be a lot of pressure. Anyway, let's not talk about that. Let's talk about your new roommate instead."

"My new roommate?"

"You just went to take the Level 2 Soul Master assessment, so you don't know yet, but our academy specially recruited another student today."

"Special admissions, now?"

Huo Yuhao blinked slightly, his brows furrowing.

They have less than two weeks left before their holiday, and it feels a bit strange that they joined the Sun Moon Royal Soul Guidance Academy.

Wouldn't that person be on vacation soon after joining the academy?

Or will the college assign a teacher to teach the other party individually?

Seeing Huo Yuhao's puzzled look, Senior Hu smiled:

"I know what you're thinking, Yuhao, but it's not what you think. The other party isn't a student from the Soul Guidance Department, but a student from the Real Control Department."

"A student from the Department of Real Control Engineering?"

Huo Yuhao had heard of this department; the Actual Control Department was a special department of the Sun Moon Royal Soul Master Academy.

The Department of Practical Control does not teach the production of soul tools, but rather the practical application of soul tools. Its core is to efficiently combine martial souls with soul tools to make up for the shortcomings of pure soul masters or pure soul instructors.

"Since you're a student in the Department of Real Control, your talent for cultivation must be very high, right?"

"That's right, your roommate is a level 29 Great Soul Master, while the other person is only eleven years old!"

"An eleven-year-old level twenty-nine Great Soul Master?!"

Huo Yuhao looked at Senior Hu in disbelief.

An eleven-year-old level 29 Great Soul Master is absolutely astonishing news for Huo Yuhao, who is also eleven years old but has only level one innate soul power and is currently barely at level eighteen.

Seeing Huo Yuhao's surprised expression, Hu Xuechang's smile widened even more.

However, when he thought that the other party's talent in soul tools was no less than that of the freshman in soul power cultivation, this senior student suddenly couldn't laugh anymore.

The pressure of being friends with a genius is immense!

Of course, the pressure of being a genius senior is even greater!

"But why was someone like that assigned to my dorm?"

Huo Yuhao was puzzled. His cultivation talent wasn't particularly good, and this wasn't exactly a secret, but the freshman was still assigned to his dormitory.

"I heard this was arranged by the dean himself. It seems he wants you to be able to cooperate with each other in the future, so he plans to start cultivating your teamwork now."

"Cooperation?"

"Yes, that freshman has strong cultivation talent, while Yuhao, you have excellent talent in soul tools. Therefore, the academy wants to cultivate both of you geniuses at the same time and foster your teamwork. We hope you can cooperate with each other."

"I see."

Huo Yuhao nodded. After Hu Xuechang's explanation, he understood the academy's arrangements.

"By the way, Senior Hu, could you tell me my roommate's name?"

"Tian Ce Jian is a descendant of the Tian Ce family. His family was once very powerful, but for some reason it declined. I don't know much about them, that's all I know."

"Thank you, senior."

"Alright, let's not talk about that anymore, Yuhao. I need to hurry up and study too. Although my talent is not as good as yours, as your senior, I should at least wait a while before you surpass me."

Hu Xuechang patted Huo Yuhao on the shoulder half-jokingly, and after saying goodbye, he quickly left.

"My new roommate... doesn't seem like someone easy to get along with."

In Huo Yuhao's memory, most people with high cultivation talent were eccentric or extreme in personality.

Those geniuses all have their own pride and are completely blind to those who are less talented than them.

As for those with even less talent, they would even deliberately humiliate and abuse them, even if those people had done nothing wrong...

Painful memories from the past surfaced unexpectedly, causing Huo Yuhao to furrow his brow.

The boy clenched his fists, the humiliation and injustice he suffered as a child still vivid in his mind.

He never forgot those grudges and hatreds; sooner or later, he would make those people pay the price!

"Phew~"

Taking a deep breath, Huo Yuhao forced himself to calm down his agitated emotions.

Now is not the time for revenge. He is not strong enough yet, and he does not have enough power. Therefore, what he needs to do now is to study hard, cultivate diligently, and strengthen himself little by little!

In this academy full of opportunities for him, he grows stronger little by little until he takes revenge on those people!

Feeling his heart gradually calming down, Huo Yuhao took another step and quickly headed towards his dormitory.

Although he didn't have a good impression of those geniuses, Huo Yuhao didn't want to generalize and directly define his roommate, whom he had never met, as the person he hated the most.

At the very least, we need to spend some time together before we can make a judgment.

"I never expected that I would be assigned a roommate. I thought I would be living alone in the dorm from now on."

Although he lived in a double dormitory, Huo Yuhao subconsciously assumed that he would not have any roommates because he had always lived alone.

That would be true under normal circumstances, but it is not the normal situation now.

"Luckily, I don't have many things, so I haven't used the space on the other side."

Huo Yuhao was relieved. Because his daily life was quite busy, his living conditions were simple and he didn't have many things, which were all stored in the space next to his bed.

"I don't know if the other person is in the dorm right now. I should hurry back and check. If they're not there, I should pack my things quickly. If they are, I should say hello and see what kind of person they are."
