Douluo Continent: Huo Yuhao's Path of the Knights

The roar continued incessantly as the crimson motorcycle hurtled straight toward Huo Yuhao.

The crimson car body, like a red lightning bolt, rapidly magnified in the boy's vision.

Huo Yuhao was startled. He first rolled to the side to try to avoid the oncoming two-wheeled vehicle.

The bright red car body grazed past the boy's body. Without hesitation, the boy got up from the ground and ran to the side.

"Hey buddy, don't... no, why did you say it again? Cough cough, kid, don't run, come at the motorcycle!"

Upon hearing Armored Guy's voice, Huo Yuhao actually stopped and turned to rush towards the motorcycle.

Armored Man: "!"

Upon seeing Huo Yuhao not only stop running but instead charge straight at them, the armored man was startled.

The boy probably won't actually rush over...

He'll probably avoid it, right?

Will he?

Despite thinking this, the armored man still slowed down slightly.

However, Huo Yuhao, who was charging towards him, had a completely different idea from the armored man.

Since the armored guy told him to charge forward, he couldn't run away!

Ultimately, with their drastically different ideas, Huo Yuhao had a close encounter with the motorcycle.

Fortunately, at the last moment, the armored man braked suddenly, minimizing the damage the motorcycle could cause to the boy.

bang~

Even so, Huo Yuhao was still sent flying by the impact.

The boy's body rolled on the ground, kicking up dust, until it finally came to a stop after traveling quite a distance.

"Yuhao, how come you actually bumped into me? Why didn't you dodge?!"

The armored man stopped his motorcycle and rushed to Huo Yuhao's side to check on his injuries.

Fortunately, due to the armored man's extreme braking and the boy's previous powerful physical enhancement, Huo Yuhao's injuries were not too serious.

At least I don't have to rely on my knight's belt to keep me alive like before.

"No, no, that's not how you escape from Gala. When I was chasing you in my car, you should have yelled, 'I don't understand, Captain, this is too dangerous!' Then I should have continued, 'Don't run! Come at the motorcycle!'"

"How can you stop and rush towards your motorcycle the moment I say just one sentence? This isn't a getaway, I don't accept it!"

Huo Yuhao: "?"

Armor Guy is saying some weird things again.

However, Huo Yuhao, looking disheveled, realized that he seemed to have misunderstood Armored Brother's meaning.

It seems I... don't need to charge straight in?

"Kid, I was just kidding, I didn't mean for you to actually charge at me! Besides, this is escape training, the impact resistance training is yet to come!"

"Sorry, Armor Guy, I misunderstood."

"Sigh, it's my fault for not explaining clearly. Kid, remember to dodge next time."

"Okay, Armor Bro."

After a minor hiccup, Huo Yuhao continued his training.

……

"Transform, boy! Let me see your transformation!"

The armored man and the big boss stood in front of the boy, ready to check on Huo Yuhao's transformation.

Huo Yuhao nodded vigorously, then took a deep breath and extended his hand.

Sensing the summons, the Kabuto Insect Device quickly flew into Huo Yuhao's hand, where it was tightly gripped by the boy's right hand.

The boy placed the Kabuto Insect Gadget on the knight's belt, and a mechanical sound began to play:

Henshin!

Hard armor appeared out of thin air from his waist and quickly covered the boy's entire body.

"It's very good, but you're a bit short. It will be more suitable for you when you grow up a little more."

Looking at the slightly shorter armored figure in front of him, the armored man commented.

"Alright, it's your turn next, young man. After all, the speed of the Masked Form isn't fast, so I'm not suitable to teach it. I'll guide you after you master the Armor Burst."

As he spoke, the armored man looked at the trench coat man who had already transformed. At this moment, the big boss had changed his appearance.

At this moment, the opponent was covered in a layer of pure white light armor that was not yet fully awakened, which contrasted with the black tight-fitting battle suit underneath, with gold edges winding like fine strands of light.

The helmet was rounded and understated, with short, blunt horns. The pair of crimson compound eyes were calm and undisturbed, showing no sharpness, only a pure, nascent quality.

Because it was training, the man in the trench coat only transformed into his weakest form.

"This young man's Rider power is called Kuuga, and he's the senior figure among the Heisei Riders. Of course, he's also the senior figure among us. As for how he is, you can experience it for yourself, young man."

After saying this, the armored man stepped back a short distance, making room for the two of them.

And so this training-style match began.

Gazing at the white knight not far away, Huo Yuhao couldn't help but feel a little nervous.

This was only his second transformation, and his opponent was a seasoned veteran with immense strength, having experienced countless battles.

"Don't be nervous, kid. Go for it! Getting defeated is normal, because everyone in our team has been beaten by this guy before, and we all failed!"

Hearing the armored man's encouraging words, Huo Yuhao gradually calmed down.

The boss is very strong, and I can't defeat him in my current state. I don't need to defeat him; I just need to do my best!

What he thought became Huo Yuhao's motivation. The young man's eyes sparkled, and his Spirit Eye Martial Soul was activated.

Huo Yuhao's azure eyes met Kuuga's deep red eyes, and he entered a meditative state.

The standoff didn't last long before Kuuga suddenly threw another punch, his dark right fist striking like lightning!

So fast!

By the time Huo Yuhao reacted, Kuuga's fist had already landed on his face armor.

bang~

Huo Yuhao couldn't stop himself from backing away, but before he could regain his balance, Kong Wo kicked him straight down to the ground.

Kabuto's body crashed to the ground, raising a little dust.

That boss's attack was incredibly fierce!

Catching his breath, Huo Yuhao quickly rolled to the side, barely managing to dodge Kong Ge's foot that landed on the ground.

bang~

Significant cracks appeared in the ground, even extending to Huo Yuhao's front.

Even after missing his kick, Kongwo didn't stop, but rushed towards Huo Yuhao.

Hurriedly scrambling to his feet, Huo Yuhao raised his arms in front of him, adopting a defensive stance to try and defend against the big boss's attack.

However, Kuuga's fist was not so honorable to be lowered; with just one punch, Huo Yuhao's arms went numb.

If it weren't for the protection of the Knight Armor, Huo Yuhao felt that this punch could have broken both of his arms.

And this was only one strike; the subsequent punches left Huo Yuhao utterly powerless to retaliate.

When the final punch landed on the boy's chest, Huo Yuhao finally couldn't hold on any longer and flew backward.

bang~

The boy fell to the ground, and the Kabuto armor could no longer be maintained, automatically deactivating the transformation.

At this moment, the armored man came to Huo Yuhao's side and helped the exhausted Huo Yuhao up:

"Young man, congratulations on your achievement—your first setback after transforming!"

Huo Yuhao: "?"
