Douluo Continent: Huo Yuhao's Path of the Knights

On the cracked and broken land, two figures, one red and one white, are fighting each other.

The fight between the two figures produced powerful sounds with every punch and kick, and the aftershocks left the once normal open space riddled with craters.

After blocking the big boss's punch again, Huo Yuhao found an opportunity to counterattack. He turned his body to the side and delivered a side kick to Kongwo's waist.

Kongo's body trembled, and the ground beneath his feet cracked instantly, but he was not knocked back and remained standing in place, taking the brunt of Huo Yuhao's kick with his own body.

Seeing that he had failed to repel Kuuga, Huo Yuhao's pupils contracted. He immediately tried to pull back his leg, but Kuuga grabbed his right leg.

it's over...

The moment Huo Yuhao had this thought in his mind, he felt himself being lifted up by a tremendous force and then slammed to the ground.

bang~

The crimson figure crashed heavily to the ground, creating a large crater in the already cracked surface.

Huo Yuhao, clad in armor, struggled to get up from inside the pit and continue fighting.

But soon, the boy's body trembled, and the armor could no longer be maintained, dissipating on the spot.

"Phew~"

Without the support of the armored vehicle, Huo Yuhao's body could no longer hold on, and his body, which had not yet been able to get up, fell back into the pit.

"Six minutes and forty-eight seconds, not bad, kid. You're lasting longer and longer against this guy!"

After glancing at the time, the armored man stepped into the pit and helped the exhausted boy up.

"Judging from your fight with the young man, you're already able to unleash about 20% of Kabuto's power, which is quite impressive."

"I...I will...keep trying...Armor Guy..."

Huo Yuhao was breathing heavily; the armored vehicle was taking a tremendous toll on him.

Moreover, the energy expenditure from fighting against someone as powerful as a boss is incomparable to that from fighting against those Zerg larvae.

"Your morning training is almost over. After you've rested, you can continue sparring with me this afternoon."

"Okay... Helmet, Armor Guy."

Huo Yuhao was helped back to rest, but even though it was supposed to be a rest, he didn't idle while recovering his strength. Instead, he tried to integrate the mental energy "bubbles" in his sea of consciousness.

"A Sea of Spirit—I've never even heard of it from anyone else in this world, yet this young man managed to create one. Hmm, he's really becoming more and more like the protagonist!"

Watching Huo Yuhao enter the sea of consciousness and remain motionless as if in deep meditation, the armored man couldn't help but nod in admiration.

Such an opportunity, so extraordinary—what else could this be but the chosen one of the world?!

"If the boy is truly the chosen one of the world, then taking him out for a stroll will require some special methods."

Now that the boy had joined them, the armored man planned to take Huo Yuhao out to explore and grow. Even if it didn't improve him in any particular way, it would at least enhance his experience in fighting monsters.

This way, the boy will have a slightly easier time dealing with the alien insects after they leave this world.

"However, we'll have to wait until we find the Lost Ship, otherwise it will be almost impossible to take the boy out for a stroll."

As the armored man spoke, Huo Yuhao, whose consciousness had entered the Sea of Spirit, opened his eyes.

"Has the absorption been completed, young man?"

"Yes, I've absorbed some, but it will take some time to adjust."

Huo Yuhao nodded slightly. There were an unusually large number of mental energy "bubbles" in his sea of consciousness, making it impossible to absorb them all in a short period of time.

It can only be absorbed and digested little by little over time.

"But Armor Bro, what exactly are those mental energy bubbles? Although there isn't much information inside them, they're all so strange. Most of them are either eating or sleeping, and a few times they seem to be thinking about something called Bingbing, which seems to be a person's name."

Huo Yuhao asked the armored man a question, but the armored man shook his head:

"I don't know either, but we checked, and the mental energy bubble is probably the remnant soul left behind by some kind of creature. Moreover, the degree of damage is very small. It seems that it had a good chance of continuing to live before it was alive, but for some reason it became a remnant soul."

"So that creature's soul can actually live on in my spiritual sea forever?"

"Originally, that should be the case."

The armored man nodded slightly; their current methods of examining souls could only uncover this much.

Having never had a similar experience, Huo Yuhao couldn't imagine the possibility of other beings' souls existing in his sea of consciousness.

In his view, the souls of other beings lived within his spiritual sea, coexisting with him—this situation…

"This feels really strange..."

Living with other people and having no privacy at all, that kind of experience probably wouldn't be very pleasant, right?

"Alright, young man, let's not talk about that remnant soul for now. I've checked it, and that remnant soul is just a remnant soul. It has no consciousness and won't actively harm you."

"I understand, Armor Guy."

Huo Yuhao responded, then took out the book on level-three soul tools from his spatial soul tool, adjusted his posture, and began to study.

Now that he has arrived at the Second Ring Road, it is time to start learning about Level 3 Soul Tools!

Huo Yuhao's actions were observed by the armored figure beside him, but she did not say anything, simply staying silently by the boy's side.

The armored man knew the reason for the boy's urgency and was also aware of the hatred he carried.

That hatred was the driving force behind the boy's desperate struggle forward, but it was also the prison that trapped him in his life.

Revenge is an indispensable obsession for teenagers, but once this obsession is fulfilled, confusion is likely to follow.

A young person should not be trapped by hatred for their entire life, or at the very least, should not remain trapped by hatred even after taking revenge.

……

Thanks to the help of the man in black, Huo Yuhao's recovery speed is now beyond human comprehension. He was exhausted in the morning, but after only resting for noon, he was lively and energetic again in the afternoon.

"Come on, kid, let's do the armor-breaking attack like before!"

"it is good."

Wearing the armored suit, Huo Yuhao placed his right hand on the armored insect device and then forcefully pried open the device's single horn.

The cold, mechanical voice rang out again:

Cast Off!

Change Beetle!

Huo Yuhao's heavy armor began to disintegrate, then sprang open in an instant, revealing red armor beneath the heavy armor, while a single horn slowly rose.

Kabuto - Rider Mode!

Gazing at the imposing armored figure, the armored man nodded and said:

"Wow, that's cool, kid. If you yelled 'cast off' again, it would be even more impressive. But since you've already transformed, I can't be left behind!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a peculiar belt suddenly appeared around the armored man's waist. In the center of the belt was a black base with a fox-shaped pattern on it.

"This time... let's go with this one!"

As he spoke, the armored man took out a pink, toy-like prop.

The armored man loaded the pink prop onto the right side of the black chassis and then snapped his fingers.

"Henshin!"

SET

ARMED HAMMER

READY FIGHT!

The Extreme Fox helmet covered the armored man's body, and then a pink hammer appeared out of thin air in the armored man's hand.

Huo Yuhao had seen Armor Guy's transformation many times. Unlike the big shots who transformed instantly without making a sound, Armor Guy's transformation was more flashy, and he had a wider variety of weapons after transforming.

Besides the hammer, Huo Yuhao had also seen the armored guy use a shield, a crossbow, and even a water gun!

Most of those weapons were made of a special material and looked like large toys, but their power was far beyond that of toys.

Having been beaten many times, Huo Yuhao deeply understands this.

Of course, Huo Yuhao initially had one question about the armored man's transformation.

So why does Armor Guy wear armor to transform?

Won't wearing armor and transforming into a human hinder your movement?

He even asked Armor Guy about this, but the answer he got was that the armor was put into Doraemon's four-dimensional pocket when he transformed.

So what is Doraemon's four-dimensional pocket?

"Don't get distracted, kid, training is about to begin!"

"Okay, armored guy!"
