Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory
Chapter 10 My First Experience with Liquor-Filled Chocolates
With Pierce's mediation, Nick Fury abandoned his overt plans against the Totland Group.
Everyone was happy; Willy Wonka's request was merely to save face. As long as S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't treat the Totto Land Group as an enemy at this juncture, everything would be fine.
As for the future?
Various extraordinary events, plus an alien invasion, are enough to keep S.H.I.E.L.D. extremely busy.
Willy Wonka's focus is now on the upcoming press conference. The chocolate factory has produced enough liqueur-filled chocolates that, as the product's creator, Willy Wonka is confident he can usher in a new era.
As the first rays of morning sunlight shone on the Totland Building, Willy Wonka, having finished breakfast, appeared in the conference room, looking refreshed and energetic.
There were only a handful of people in the conference room. These were not the typical professional workers found in large corporations, but rather the true giants within the group, the tentacles extended from Willy Wonka, each wielding unparalleled influence within the company.
Frank, the Charlotte family's longtime butler, still holds the reins of the group's finances.
Constantin is the leader of the Charlotte family's armed forces in the United States and the head of the North American armament of the Totland Group.
Alfok is the head of the South American armaments department of the Totland Group, and is also responsible for all sugar-related businesses within the group.
William is the Asia head of the Totland Group's Armed Forces and is also responsible for all fruit-related businesses within the group.
Michael is the head of logistics for the security department and is also responsible for the regular training of all security personnel.
Robert is the current president of the Totland Group.
Richard, the General Manager of the Group's Human Resources Department, is the most direct embodiment of Willy Wonka's will.
The families of these seven individuals can all be seen as natural extensions of the Charlotte family. During the war, Willy Wonka took in seven children, and these seven children and their families effectively became Willy Wonka's retainers.
Even though the fathers of the other six men besides Frank have passed away, the sacred oath they made together back then still binds the family members.
And they, as Willy Wonka's sharpest spear and strongest shield, are now summoned and gather in New York.
The last time so many people came was when Professor Willy Wonka and his group were at their most imposing.
In front of each person was an exquisite tin box, inside which was Willy Wonka's new product: liqueur-filled chocolates.
"There are two things I wanted to discuss with everyone today. The first is the launch of our new product."
"These liqueur-filled chocolates are not the same kind as the ones I made for you when you were little. I've made some unique improvements. Please try these chocolates first."
Richard was the youngest person present, but he was the one most impressed by the liqueur-filled chocolates.
When he was a child, he ran away from home after a fight with his father, but he forgot to bring any money. He was eventually found by Mr. Willy Wonka in one of the company's candy stores on that rainy night.
Mr. Willy Wonka first gave him a chocolate with a liqueur filling to fill his stomach, and then cooked him a sumptuous meal.
Although his father, Richard, later scolded Mr. Willy Wonka for giving a five-year-old a chocolate liqueur, he thought it was the second most delicious treat after marshmallow chocolate.
Later, even though he kept pestering Mr. Willy Wonka to try the liqueur-filled chocolates again, Mr. Willy Wonka always refused.
He immediately said he wouldn't let his father know. But Mr. Willy Wonka still refused, saying it wasn't that he was afraid his father would overturn his desk, but that it was simply inappropriate.
He still remembers the scene: Mr. Willy Wonka flicked his nose and said, "Little Richard isn't a man yet, alcohol is too early for you."
Later, as he grew up and his father passed away, Mr. Willy Wonka never made liqueur chocolates again.
Richard actually knew that the first liqueur-filled chocolate he ate was made from his father's treasured liqueur. Mr. Willy Wonka was discussing new products with his father at the time, and the one he ate was the world's first liqueur-filled chocolate.
With a hint of nostalgia in his eyes, Richard opened the box in front of him.
The box contains three individual small packages, each package being an exquisite heart-shaped box.
Upon opening this exquisite box, a fish the size of a thumb comes into view.
"Wow!"
"OMG!"
A gasp of surprise erupted in the conference room, accompanied by the sight of fish swimming in mid-air.
They all seem to float in the air without anything to rely on, the fish swimming in the air, every scale detail is fully captured, it is exceptionally exquisite.
Richard could even read a sense of panic in the fish's movements.
That's right, chocolate fish, exuding a wonderful aroma. These chocolate fish didn't go far; instead, they circled around the person opening the package, occasionally swimming back into the heart-shaped packaging, as if they were very curious about this "home."
Willy Wonka watched this scene with a smile, and said, "Catch them all and eat them. Their vitality only lasts for a short while after opening the packaging. They'll soon turn into lifeless chocolate fish."
Upon hearing this, Richard reached out and pinched the swimming fish. The fish immediately stopped moving and turned into an ordinary piece of chocolate.
He put the chocolate in his mouth, and an extremely unique sensation was transmitted to his brain.
Saliva production increases, and when this saliva comes into contact with the chocolate, it surprisingly has a sherry-like flavor.
This chocolate turned the saliva that came into contact with it into a liquid, which was indeed different from the liqueur-filled chocolates I had eaten before.
Richard chewed carefully. The chocolate was solid with a filling in the middle, and it tasted like a piece of gummy candy.
The gummies reset the mouth, allowing the user to directly enjoy the next piece of chocolate.
A brilliant product!
After Richard swallowed all the chocolate in his mouth, he couldn't help but exclaim, "This sip of sherry is absolutely top-notch, and paired with the sweetness of the chocolate, it's so delicious!"
"Richard, is yours sherry-flavored? Mine is sweet wine."
Michael quickly added, then picked up the empty packaging to see if there were any flavor instructions.
On the side of the heart-shaped packaging, there is a line of small, cursive text: "Liquor-filled chocolates, evoking the taste you miss most."
"Mr. Willy Wonka, does this chocolate taste different to each person depending on their individual preferences?"
Willy Wonka smiled and nodded, then pressed his hands down in a gesture of calm.
"Wait a little longer, something even more amazing is coming."
