Chapter 101 Asgard's Number One Brainless

Chapter 101 The Most Brainless Person in Asgard (Please Subscribe)

Both Odin and Frigga were quite enthusiastic towards Willy Wonka. It's just that their enthusiasm seemed to stem from different motives.

Frigga respected Willy Wonka as a strong person, and one who had a close relationship with Asgard.

Odin was probably just thinking about how to get something out of Willy Wonka.

"Willy Wonka, the warship I promised you last time is already ready. The weapon system has also been modified, and it's absolutely top-notch in space, definitely not inferior to warships from other factions."

Odin knew what Willy Wonka was concerned about, and he immediately reassured Willy Wonka that he had taken his needs seriously.

"Furthermore, we Asgardians have never sold a single warship. Willy Wonka, your fleet, using this warship for escort, naturally carries the Asgardian flag."

"It's not that I'm arrogant, but Asgard has a slight reputation in the universe, and ordinary forces wouldn't dare to set their sights on us."

""

Odin's words were convoluted, but the core point was that he wanted to show Willy Wonka that this warship was not just a warship, but also represented Asgard's attitude.

Using such warships as escorts naturally demonstrates to the powers of the universe that this fleet is under the protection of Asgard.

That's shameless!

Upon hearing Odin's words, Willy Wonka immediately understood what he meant; his words implied that he wanted more money.

So he kept quiet, no matter how eloquently Odin spoke, he just laughed it off. "You yourself generously gave me the warship; now you want more money? Too late!"

Before long, Odin's three crown princes were brought back to Asgard by Heimdall via the Rainbow Bridge.

Hela's nose twitched slightly; she smelled alcohol on Heimdall. Thor noticed it too, immediately realizing Willy Wonka had arrived.

Saul already knew from the last banquet that this fine wine was produced by Willy Wonka.

"Heimdall, as the eyes and gatekeeper of Asgard, you have become somewhat lax," Hela said slowly, her words full of criticism.

"Hela, as a warrior of Asgard, having a couple of sips of alcohol is nothing. This little bit of alcohol won't affect Heimdall's judgment or reaction."

"Oh? Is this something a crown prince should say? What a pathetic drunkard, to actually resonate with something like this."

Hela curled her lip and spoke sarcastically to Thor. However, she didn't dwell on the matter, but instead rolled her eyes at Heimdall and left first.

"Heimdall, don't take it to heart. That's just how Hela is; she's cold and aloof, not like a father's child at all."

"I'll come find you for a drink later, so be sure to save some for me," Thor said excitedly, having already spotted the barrel Heimdall had placed to the side.

As for Loki, he remained silent, as if he had something on his mind. However, everyone was already used to Loki's silence, so no one found it unusual.

Looking at the three very different crown princes, Willy Wonka felt that Odin, as the king of the gods, must be quite troubled. Sooner or later, these three crown princes would cause Asgard a great disaster.

"Congratulations, I should now address you as King Midgard," Hela said bluntly, showing no joy whatsoever at having quelled the frost giants' rebellion.

They regained Jotunheim, but lost Midgard. It seems that there was no difference for Asgard in the end.

Moreover, unlike Laufey, Willy Wonka and Midgard far surpass the Frost Giants in terms of top-tier combat power.

Before setting off, Odin, Hela, and the other two specifically analyzed the current situation in Asgard, with particular emphasis on the Ancient One and Willy Wonka.

So Hela isn't in a good mood right now. She thinks that Asgard, which is currently beset by internal and external troubles, is a disaster with crown princes like Thor and Loki.

Hela knew that only strength could restore Asgard's glory. If she could reach Odin's strength at this moment, all the problems would be solved.

But when she looked at Thor and Loki beside her, one was clueless and the other was unhappy.

"Asgard's information network is really impressive. It seems His Majesty the King of Gods has put in a lot of effort." Willy Wonka felt that Hela and Odin were not as pleasing to the eye as Thor.

Thor, instead of harboring any ulterior motives towards Hela, was pleasantly surprised and sincerely congratulated her, saying, "King Midgard! Willy Wonka, you must have a few more drinks later."

"I can't call myself the King of Midgard, nor do I have any ambition or intention to become king. I've simply made a small change so that more people are listening to me."

"After all, I am just a businessman, and what I sell is mostly food. I still need to rely on His Majesty the God-King and the various Crown Princes for support."

Saul immediately patted his chest and promised that he would be the first to support the Totland Candy Store once it opened.

The small banquet for a few people was prepared quickly, and everyone took their seats at Odin's invitation.

Willy Wonka raised his glass and clinked it with Odin's. They drank glass after glass of wine, and soon they were both tipsy.

These few drinks were just a quick rinse for them, but everyone present was preoccupied with their own thoughts, and the wine didn't intoxicate them; they were intoxicated by their own state of mind.

"Your Majesty, do you know anything about the Skrulls?" Willy Wonka asked, emboldened by his drunkenness.

Odin pondered for a moment, "I've dealt with them before. They're a major power in the universe, but they've declined somewhat recently."

""

At this point, Odin glanced at Hela, his voice unusually soft.

"Back when Asgard was conquering all sides, Hela led her troops in a few battles against those green-skinned people. But after Thor was born, I didn't pay much attention to things outside Asgard's borders."

"What, are these insects causing you trouble? But wait, your fleet hasn't even set sail yet, how could you be dealing with Skrulls?"

Odin was puzzled, as he hadn't paid attention to Earth's affairs for a long time since meeting the Ancient One.

Recently, Heimdall has only been keeping an eye on Willy Wonka and the Hulk, while Odin, the Skrull, has been completely ignored.

They're just small insects; they're not worth his time or energy.

"It's about some Skrull refugees who came here decades ago and now want to take over the place and make Earth their new home."

Willy Wonka was just chatting casually, only mentioning the matter to Odin as a topic of conversation over drinks. Willy Wonka already had a plan for dealing with these little karaomi.

Once he obtains the spaceship from Asgard, he will eliminate all the Skrulls hiding on Earth before the fleet sets sail.

What was said in jest was taken seriously by the listener, and Saul lived up to expectations, immediately grasping the key words.

"The Skrulls want to occupy Midgard?" After receiving Willy Wonka's affirmative answer, Thor immediately spoke to Odin: "Father, we should send troops immediately and let the Skrulls know that Midgard is our Asgardian territory, and anyone who dares to covet our land will pay the price."

Odin's vision went black; he never expected Thor's reaction to be so intense.

"Sol, you're drunk!"

"Father----"

"Shut up! The guests are still here. What kind of behavior is this, shouting like that!"

Odin used his divine power to seal Thor's mouth shut, then turned to Willy Wonka apologetically and said, "The boy was a bit impulsive and drunk. Please forgive him."

"Not at all, Your Highness Sol is both generous and has a broad perspective."

Odin didn't want to continue on this topic; a few Skrulls couldn't possibly cause any trouble on Earth.

So he abruptly changed the subject.

"Willy Wonka, how's the wine in our Asgard? This time, it's the finest wine I kept from my campaign against the Dark Elves. It's priceless!"

"Hela can testify that there were five barrels of fine wine. I made a pact with her that we would drink to our hearts' content after we returned victorious from defeating the Dark Elves. Of those five barrels, only this one remains."

"This is a one-of-a-kind item; every cup we drink is one less available. Every sip reminds me of those glorious days."

Willy Wonka's eyelids twitched, and his previously hazy, drunken eyes cleared instantly.

"Oh? No wonder it's so intoxicating, it must be a fine aged wine."

"Willy Wonka, the Asgardian army is about to return in triumph, and my warriors raved about the wine from last time."

Odin poured Willy Wonka a glass of wine, which Willy Wonka then raised and drank in one gulp.

"Brother Willy Wonka! Could you sponsor me some more fine wine? Not too much, just the same as last time."

"Brother, you've even brought out your best wine, but even this fine wine isn't enough for the victorious army. As for me—I'm truly short of funds."

Willy Wonka was stunned. He knew Odin was shameless, but he never expected Odin to be this shameless.

Can he tolerate someone trying to take advantage of him without any real words?

Last time it was a full ten thousand barrels of wine. Although that's insignificant compared to the value of a warship, the last transaction is over.

This time, Odin wanted to take 10,000 barrels of wine for free, but he couldn't do a losing business like that.

"Odin, Asgard is a large and powerful nation. Surely they can afford to be unable to provide the wine needed for a banquet?"

"I'm a businessman. If this product is given away for free, then I won't need to do business anymore, will I? Odin, please consider my brother's situation."

Willy Wonka casually released the restraints Odin had placed on Thor. "Your Highness Thor, does the mighty Asgard not even have enough for a few drinks?"

"How could that be! The treasures of the Celestial Palace are countless, how could we let you suffer a loss!" Thor said righteously, he had no intention of taking advantage of the situation.

Thor, the prince of Asgard, has a lot of pride and can't afford to lose face like that.

Even Loki, who was practically invisible, couldn't help but put his hand to his forehead. He tugged at Thor's sleeve, trying to get him to sit down.

"Loki, why are you pulling me? Did I say something wrong? I remember Asgard doesn't have a financial crisis recently."

Loki didn't want to bother with him anymore, so he silently withdrew his hand and moved his seat to the side.
