Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory
Chapter 100: The Hard Currency for Taking Over the Asgardian Market
Chapter 100: Taking Over the Hard Currency of the Asgardian Market (Seeking First Subscriptions)
Willy Wonka happily tidied up the chocolate factory, putting each product separately and then placing them in a small, individual space at the cutting area.
He was busy preparing the products, while Hulk was inspecting them on the other side.
Every time Willy Wonka packed something, he would take out a few pieces to taste, and after each piece, he would nod and comment on it.
"Dad, this is delicious, it even has filling."
"Dad, this is delicious too, but it's a little sweet, so you need to drink some milk."
"And this one, I think I've had something similar before, except it was watermelon flavored back then, and this one is pineapple flavored."
Hulk stood to the side, muttering to himself, like a devoted diner savoring his meal.
"Pineapple? You know what a pineapple is? I never taught you that word."
Hulk reached out to pick his nose, but then remembered that Willy Wonka had once taught a good boy to be hygienic, so he suddenly changed direction, pointing his finger from his nostrils to the top of his head.
He scratched his head. "Dad, I learned this from TV myself. I already know the alphabet, and I've even learned phonics recently!"
"You've made great progress lately." Willy Wonka praised Hulk without hesitation. For someone who doesn't like studying, it's quite rare for him to take the initiative to learn.
Willy Wonka hasn't yet found a way to separate Hulk and Banner, but he doesn't want them to merge like in the original movie.
In Willy Wonka's view, that fusion meant Banner's consciousness took over, actively devouring Hulk's newly formed self-awareness.
"Hulk, how are your talks with Banner going lately?"
Hulk chuckled sheepishly. Ever since he learned English and could communicate normally in English, he had often communicated with Banner in his mind.
They share one body, but sometimes they can talk to each other.
Hulk thought Banner was a good person because Banner would teach him a lot of lessons when they talked.
"Dad, Banner is a good person. He tells Hulk stories and teaches him. It's just that he doesn't like Hulk fighting and always tries to reason with him."
Hulk got a little impatient at this point, standing up and gesturing wildly: "But Hulk likes to fight!"
Willy Wonka found Hulk's childish behavior very amusing. "Dad knows Hulk likes to fight, so I just found you a worthy opponent so you can have a good fight."
"Sit down. You've been playing for so long, now be quiet. Come help Daddy with the chores!"
Willy Wonka didn't hesitate to recruit the Hulk as his henchman, as he could easily pack small and easily handled items like candy and chocolate.
But since the store was located in Asgard, the best-selling product in the early stages would definitely be alcohol.
Behind Willy Wonka were countless barrels of liquor, and he directed Hulk to carry the barrels to fetch liquor.
For this opening, Willy Wonka specially created a small river in the chocolate factory using alcohol, forming a small waterfall by utilizing the parallax of the cliff.
A small pool of water forms beneath the waterfall.
This is a newly opened production chain specifically for Asgard; hopefully, those drunkards won't let me down.
Hulk came to this waterfall to get some wine. He put the barrel under the waterfall, and it was quickly filled with water.
Then Hulk needs to activate his Devil Fruit power to gently shake the pool, causing the wine to vibrate, thus pushing the barrel back to his side.
During this period, Willy Wonka forbade Hulk from touching the liquor to prevent contamination that could affect its flavor.
This was no easy task for Hulk, and the smile on his face immediately vanished.
But this was a task assigned by Willy Wonka, and Hulk couldn't refuse, so he shook his head and carried the barrel of liquor to fill it.
Hulk just didn't like working; he wanted to go back to sleep and have Banner relieve him. But he didn't dare, because he was afraid Willy Wonka would beat him up.
And so, the father and son worked busily all morning and finally finished preparing all the products.
Willy Wonka didn't plan to bring Hulk with him on this trip to Asgard; instead, he planned to bring some of Totland's employees.
"Hulk, as a reward for your hard work, Dad will get you a toy when he comes back from Asgard."
"Now it's your free time. You can go back to sleep and let Banner come out for some fresh air, or you can continue playing in the factory."
"But remember, you can't wash your feet in a river of milk, honey, or chocolate. Can you manage that?"
Hulk immediately assured Willy Wonka that he would absolutely not make a mess of the environment. Hulk thought to himself that he was already a good boy, so why did his father still insist on this so tirelessly?
Hulk has been behaving very well lately, so Willy Wonka is reassured and hasn't bothered with him anymore.
He created a very large pocket, put all the items into it, and then Willy Wonka walked out of the chocolate factory alone.
Once in Asgard, Willy Wonka only needed to take items out of his pocket. That's how convenient spatial abilities can be sometimes.
Arriving at an open space, Willy Wonka took out Odin's token, held it high above his head, and cried out, "Odin!"
Heimdall immediately recognized the signal and activated the Rainbow Bridge to bring Willy Wonka to Asgard.
"Mr. Willy Wonka, His Majesty is already waiting for you in Asgard."
Willy Wonka nodded, then took a barrel of liquor from his pocket and placed it directly into Heimdall's arms.
"You're the first Asgardian I've met on our opening day, which means we're destined to meet. Here's a barrel of wine for you."
Heimdall immediately recognized the barrel of wine as the fine brew served at the last banquet, and his throat involuntarily twitched.
"It's just a barrel of wine, it can't be considered a bribe, right?" Heimdall comforted himself. "At worst, I'll just go and support them a few more times after the store opens!"
"Thank you very much, Mr. Willy Wonka. I will definitely come to support your store after it opens."
"Thank you so much." Willy Wonka had an impeccable smile on his face, as he sensed Odin's presence nearby.
"Your Majesty, I have heard that the Asgardian army has returned in triumph. I have chosen this time to open my business, just in time to share in the joy!"
""
Odin wore the same smile, and the two embraced like old friends who hadn't seen each other in a long time.
"This is wonderful! The wine at the last banquet left a deep impression on my warrior. Now we can finally enjoy it again."
As Odin spoke, he pulled Willy Wonka along towards Asgard, and Alex, who was standing to the side, had no choice but to follow. He hadn't even said a word to his boss yet.
"Your Majesty, I have another matter to discuss with you. Regarding the warship you promised me last time, may I now set sail?"
"My cargo ships are all ready, and I'm counting on this advanced Asgardian warship to escort them. Otherwise, I wouldn't dare send my subordinates into space to sell my products."
Upon hearing this, Odin immediately took Willy Wonka's hand, his one eye filled with sincerity.
"Willy Wonka, let's put aside these trivial matters for now. I've already prepared a grand banquet for the victorious warriors. They are all guests, so this time I'll make sure they're treated well."
Without further ado, he dragged Willivan into the palace.
Odin's hearty laughter still echoed in the hall: "Frigga, look who's here."
"This is a rare guest. I order a grand feast. Frigg, send word to the children to return to the palace first, saying that distinguished guests have arrived!"
Willy Wonka knew there was something fishy about the enthusiastic Odin. But he couldn't very well refuse someone who was all smiles.
Willy Wonka then gave Alex a wink and followed Odin into Asgard.
Odin's intentions were simple: he wanted to take this opportunity to extort more alcohol from Willy Wonka.
He didn't intend to ask for much; ten thousand barrels, like the kind Willy Wonka had just given Heimdall, would suffice. As the king of the gods, Odin was not greedy.
Willy Wonka also had his own plans. Asgard owed him a warship, and he had just seen quite a few warships anchored outside Asgard.
If Asgard didn't mobilize its entire fleet for a large-scale war like suppressing the Frost Giants rebellion, then Asgard must still have a stockpile of warships.
Willy Wonka wanted to take this opportunity to acquire more warships. He wasn't a greedy person, and he was willing to take one more.
So the two, each with their own thoughts, entered the palace one after the other. Queen Frigg was arranging for preparations for the banquet.
