Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 39 Tony, you'll regret this!

George sped along in his newly acquired Cadillac Escalade, which he drove with remarkable ease despite it being his first day.

Isabella loves sweets, so George bought a small cake and a bag of egg tarts on the way back. The chocolate mille-crepe cake from the Totland Candy Store is rave about!

Isabella had arrived at George's house. She took out her key, opened the door, and sat down on the sofa naturally, turning on the TV to wait.

After Isabella and Gwen met in the morning, George gave her a key to the house.

Isabella was considering how much she could tell George at this moment. She could only reveal a limited amount about herself and the Jones family.

As for her domineering aura and the abilities she just acquired this year, Isabella decided to reveal those details after having dinner with George and Uncle Willy Wonka.

Meanwhile, Tony also made a decision in his Chicago mansion.

"Obi, we've expanded too much; perhaps it's time to make some choices."

Obadiah looked at the extremely solemn Tony Stark in front of him and was somewhat reluctant to speak.

Obadiah was completely exonerated after Willy Wonka led an attack on S.H.I.E.L.D., which led to the disbandment of S.H.I.E.L.D.

It would have been easy to find evidence that Obadiah had tried to kill Tony, but it all seemed pale and powerless in the face of the Skrull corpse now lying in the government laboratory.

Although it is unethical to say this, the Totland Group also suffered an attack, especially the death of Frank's son Philip Gallagher, on whom he had placed great hopes, which completely washed away all the stains on Obadiah's reputation.

If someone were to tell Tony that Obadiah is plotting a rebellion, Tony would simply put on his armor and fire a pulse cannon at him.

That's incredibly audacious! S.H.I.E.L.D. is gone, yet they still dare to sow discord! What are their true intentions in chasing after Obadiah to kill him?

Obadiah was feeling exhausted. Tony wanted to shut down Stark Industries' weapons division and focus on aviation and energy.

He rushed to Tony's house as soon as he heard the news, hoping to persuade Tony to give up the idea.

"Tony, I understand that Stark Industries is facing a lot of pressure right now. Especially those established energy giants, who are unwilling to give up their profits and all want a piece of the pie in the field of controlled nuclear fusion."

"Oil involves many aspects; it's not just about the energy industry. What we're doing can also disrupt the automotive industry and even fundamental social services."

"Tony, the interests involved in energy are too great. We need allies, enough allies. The weapons division cannot be shut down, at least not now. I want to use the weapons division to bind the military."

"Even in the energy sector, a certain share has to be given to the Pentagon in exchange for a reduction in the number of troops stationed in the Middle East."

Obadiah earnestly tried to persuade Tony not to act impulsively. After all, Stark Industries was a giant, but even one fist can't fight against many hands, and even with Totto Land, it would be difficult to contend with so many industry giants.

Obadiah knew that Willy Wonka was powerful, and that the guys in charge of the Totland Corporation's board of directors were all strong men.

But that won't do any good unless they can physically shut down all the opponents' accounts; otherwise, they'll have to follow American rules.

At least for now, it seems Willy Wonka has no intention of using force to overturn the table.

Tony understood what Obadiah was saying perfectly, but faced with greater interests, he could only abandon the less important departments.

Tony took out an order and placed it in front of Obadiah.

It is an order from the Totland Corporation for three space transport ships and five space battleships.

Obadiah looked at the order carefully, then suddenly stared at Tony with bright eyes.

"Tony, have you overcome the related technical difficulties?"

Tony spread his hands with a slightly smug expression. "Obi, you know me. I'm a genius."

"I talked a lot with Willy Wonka, and we had many disagreements about the company's development. But one thing is certain: we clicked because we're both very ambitious!"

"He wanted to develop Tottoland into the largest food company in the entire universe, while I wanted to make Stark Industries a cosmic behemoth."

"Furthermore, I'm not completely shutting down the weapons department; I'm merely shifting its focus to space battleships. This is the foundation for our future dominance in the universe."

Tony had one more thought in his mind that he didn't say aloud: This is also the source of his confidence in protecting the Earth from invasion.

Obadiah fell silent. Tony was right; he had convinced him.

If Stark can build these ships in a short time, then the stars and the sea await him.

However, Obadiah had one objection to Tony's decision: the sale of the Iron Man suit.

This weapon is currently the equipment that the military is most concerned about, and Obadiah, by demonstrating the performance of the armor, has already defeated all his opponents without any clear sales plan!

Tony has the highly mobile Mark series, as well as the heavily armed Iron Monger series custom-made for him.

Obama wants to sell these weapons to the military. He doesn't need many; just 100 stripped-down versions are enough to secure a complete bond between the military and Stark for at least two years.

But Tony refused, he just wouldn't.

"Tony, the Iron Man suit can buy us precious time, and the military will stand up for us and take on most of the pressure."

Obadiah looked at Tony, who remained silent, and felt utterly helpless.

"Tony, a stripped-down version is fine, or even the original version will do. That's enough to satisfy those greedy generals."

Tony was getting impatient with Obadiah's incessant chatter.

But this is a face-to-face conversation, not a video call. He can't pretend there's a bad signal to unilaterally hang up.

Looking at Obadiah, who was so devoted to Stark Industries, Tony couldn't bring himself to say anything harsh.

He simply didn't want to sell his Iron Man armor, whether it was the Mark series or the Iron Monger series, they were all his hard work.

Tony has already begun researching unmanned Iron Man suits, which he envisions as a symbol of Stark Industries' future presence in the universe.

Instead of selling them to the military for some pointless wars of planetary domination.

Stimulated by Willy Wonka and the Skrulls, Tony's gaze was no longer confined to Earth, but turned to the vast and boundless universe.

"Obi, I understand what you mean, but I will never sell my Iron Man armor, ever!"

Obadiah lightly tapped the table with both hands, finding it hard to understand why Tony was so stubborn.

"Tony, you'll regret this!"
