Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory
Chapter 41 Hazelnuts, Love, and a Bright Future
After returning from Tony's island, Willy Wonka began preparing for a party.
His chocolate plantation covers a vast area, and the entire plantation is shrouded in mist all year round, making it extremely mysterious to outsiders.
In fact, it is quite mysterious; only true insiders can enter and leave the manor.
A small number of chocolate soldiers serve Willy Wonka on the manor, thus saving the need for waiters.
This manor has been under construction for decades, and it was here that Willy Wonka taught the children from various families how to be domineering.
His former companions had all fallen like leaves in the wind, and in the blink of an eye, only Frank remained. Those little guys from back then had all grown up, started families, and established their own careers.
Now even the youngest, Isabella, has found the man she loves.
Willy Wonka knew in his heart that these people would unconditionally support and follow any decision he made at this moment.
But the more this happened, the more pressure Willy Wonka felt. He needed to establish a base on an alien planet and develop the Tottoland Corporation into a cosmic behemoth.
Countless people will fall on the road ahead, and Willy Wonka wants them to choose for themselves.
"Perhaps I should carry on the legacy of the Charlotte family."
Willy Wonka suddenly had this idea. He had already accepted Frank as a member of the Charlotte family, so perhaps he could personally select family members to accompany him before making any big moves.
A flock of black birds set off from the woods on the northwest side of the Chocolate Manor, where their nest was located. Each bird had a letter tied to its leg—an invitation to a banquet at the Chocolate Manor.
Willy Wonka always used this method when he hosted banquets, but he hadn't held any banquets in the last ten years or so, so everyone had forgotten about it.
The black bird moved its eyes nimbly and skillfully pecked at the doorbell with its beak.
Ding dong ~ ding dong ~
The three people watching TV inside heard the doorbell ring, and Gwen got up to open the door.
George also turned down the volume on the TV, which was showing a game. He wondered who would be looking for him at this hour.
Isabella also got up, because in her sense of sight and color, there was no living being outside the door.
creak~
The door opened, and Gwen gasped in surprise!
Wow!
A black bird flew quickly in from outside the door, flew straight towards Isabella, and landed on the table in front of her.
Isabella's eyes lit up. It was a messenger from the Chocolate Manor. Every time the black messenger was dispatched, it brought news of a grand banquet at the Chocolate Manor.
She stretched out her hand, and the bird, not at all shy, hopped into her palm. The woman had a familiar scent, so the bird wasn't afraid.
Isabella carefully untied the invitation from the bird's leg and then took a box out of her bag.
After George and Isabella got together, George learned a lot about chocolate because of Isabella's job and her love for sweets.
He recognized the small box as hazelnut chocolate produced by the Totland Group, which was expensive, costing three hundred dollars a box.
Isabella carefully poured the chocolate onto the table. The black bird chirped crisply as if to thank her, then flew back to the table to peck at the delicious hazelnut chocolate.
These black birds build their nests in the trees, and the hazelnut chocolates that grow on the trees are their staple food.
However, the hazelnut chocolate that Isabella was fed was specially processed and flavored. Clearly, the bird in front of her was quite pleased with the ice cream-flavored hazelnut chocolate.
After seeing the messenger off, Isabella opened the invitation in her hand, glanced at it, and then greeted George and Gwen:
"George, Gwen, we're going to be busy. It's too late to order custom clothes now, I'll take you shopping at the mall tomorrow."
"George, the shoes I ordered for you last month fit perfectly. I'll take care of your clothes. Tomorrow you'll mainly be buying watches."
"Gwen, come to my house tomorrow. I have some jewelry that would suit you perfectly. You're still a student, so there aren't such strict social requirements."
Isabella is now very happy because Uncle Willy Wonka's invitation also has George and Gwen's names on it.
Willy Wonka's invitation to this rather clique-like private party was more explicit than any linguistic recognition.
As long as George behaves normally, he will be accepted by everyone.
Isabella was about to share her joy when she quickly realized that no one else knew Willy Wonka's secret age.
So she changed her tune and said, "My boss, Mr. Willy Wonka, has invited us to a banquet."
"George, you understand, the participants here are all on our side. Their opinions are important for our future."
Isabella revealed the importance of this banquet.
George swallowed hard. So, was this a belated but timely meeting with the parents?
George felt a little nervous listening to Isabella's emphasis. He grasped Isabella's hand: "Darling, I'm a little nervous. What if your family thinks I'm not good enough for you? What if I ruin this party..."
Isabella held George's hand tightly, listened to his rambling, and smiled helplessly.
"Listen, George, we'll be together. This party is proof of that. My family just wants to see you."
Gwen also found it somewhat unbelievable; that was Willy Wonka, the world's famous chocolate godfather!
Among young people, Willy Wonka is just as famous as Tony, and even more popular!
Gwen has friends who have benefited from Willy Wonka's kindness, and two of her classmates are currently receiving Willy Wonka's grants and scholarships!
Besides, children from impoverished families are still children, and no child doesn't love sweets. Which child would forget the chocolate vendor who gives out desserts and candy?
Tottoland's reputation has been built up over time, to the point that quantitative changes have led to qualitative changes.
Gwen once asked a classmate who was a huge Willy Wonka fan why she was so steadfast in her love for someone.
The classmate told Gwen that his grandfather had received aid from Totland and his grandmother had eaten free candy from Totland.
His younger brother was born weak and received free treatment at a hospital operated by the Totland Group.
Now his father works at the Totland candy store, which supports the whole family.
His last words were: "Gwen, you asked me why I'm a fan of Mr. Willy Wonka? Because Totland is the future I yearn for!"
So Gwen is very excited now; she can finally meet the mysterious Mr. Willy Wonka.
If her classmates knew, they would be insanely envious!
