Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 68 Iron Man's First Asgardian Experience 2

Tony was stunned. That damned Willy Wonka had left him all alone.

Loki was also a little confused. He was looking for Willy Wonka, the person even his father took seriously.

In Loki's eyes, Tony was just a mortal, at best a lackey of Willy Wonka, brought to Asgard by Willy Wonka to broaden his horizons.

Since the main target hasn't been found, and there's only this small fry, what role can he play?

"Is this your confidence? A mortal who doesn't know his own limitations. Now even mortals from Midgard can live in Asgard. It seems Odin has truly fallen."

Hela glanced at Tony, her words full of disdain. A mortal without divine power or magic could not earn Hela's respect.

"You are the current ruler of Midgard? Do you really think that, because of Midgard's status, you can interfere in the great struggle for the succession to the Asgardian god-kingship?"

Tony and Loki had already introduced themselves at the banquet, so Loki eagerly asked, "Tony, where is Willy Wonka?"

Yes, where is Willy Wonka? Tony himself wants to know.

"Damn it, I don't know either. In the blink of an eye, he and Alex were gone."

In the blink of an eye, he was the only one left out of the three. Tony refused to believe that Willy Wonka hadn't done it on purpose.

Three flying swords shot over. Hela didn't give Loki and Tony time to chat; her killing intent was already overflowing.

Hela found it outrageous. In her time, if someone spoke to her so disrespectfully, their head would be hanging on a spear the next second.

Odin was too merciful, raising both Princes Thor and Loki to have lamb-like personalities.

The flying sword, imbued with the divine power of the god of death, possessed the ability to corrupt and decay, easily corroding the shield that Tony had sprung from his arm.

The intense power of death did not stop spreading just because the flying sword was blocked; instead, it spread along Tony's shield to the rest of his armor.

The shield was the first to be corroded; it decayed rapidly, and then the power of death quickly climbed up Tony's arm along the shield.

Tony suddenly felt as if he had been choked, a chilling sensation spreading from his arm like a venomous snake, moving up his arm toward his heart and brain.

The gold-red armor on his arm was rapidly corroded and turned black, and the armor's protection was quickly breached. Tony felt a numbness in his arm.

Faced with this situation, Tony immediately discarded the armor on his arm, then took out a replenishment device from the backpack behind him and quickly filled the missing armor on his arm.

"Damn it, ordinary armor can't stop energy erosion at all."

Tony muttered to himself, noting this point down: future armor modifications needed to consider energy resistance. They couldn't just focus on physical defense and attack capabilities; otherwise, they'd be too passive against enemies like Hela.

Thor also dodged the attack, but this time he had nowhere to retreat and could only fight with his back against the wall.

Thor, crackling with lightning, gripped Mjolnir and charged towards Hela. Having learned from his previous experience, this time he didn't release Mjolnir but instead activated the long-dormant lightning power within him.

If Hela isn't taught a lesson, she'll think she's the god of hammers.

"Thor, what kind of god are you again?"

Hela launched a series of flying swords at Thor, but they were all blocked. Then a longsword appeared in her hand, and a dense power of death erupted, colliding with Mjolnir.

The two forces clashed: death was cold and ruthless, thunder was violent and domineering. Neither would yield, but Thor was unable to control the immense power within him.

Without follow-up support, Thunder was like a rootless duckweed. Hela, having become the master of death's power, controlled the clash of divine forces, and this outcome was predictable.

Death, under Hela's control, instantly suppressed the thunder. Hela retaliated by pressing down, forcing Thor to kneel on one knee.

Seeing this, Tony quickly launched missiles in mid-air to support Thor, while simultaneously aiming his energy cannon at Hela.

But Tony's missile shattered into pieces in mid-air with a mere wave of Hela's hand. Corroded by the power of death, it fell like clumps of mud from the sky.

The energy beams aimed at Hela were annihilated by divine power before they could even get close.

Heath grabbed Mjolnir and kicked Thor away. Thor crashed through two walls and embedded himself in a third.

The shattered walls testified to Hela's power as she gazed at the ruins on the ground:

"Even the walls are made of such precious materials; it seems Asgard is indeed flush with cash now. But it seems they've completely forgotten the iron and blood that founded the nation."

Hela lifted Mjolnir in her hand and easily bounced it around, then the lightning reappeared on Mjolnir.

Hela aimed Mjolnir at Thor, and then an even more powerful surge of lightning erupted. To Thor's astonishment, the lightning struck him, shattering his armor.

"Thor Odinson, answer me, what god are you again? Oh, I remember something like the god of thunder."

Tony, who was struggling to dodge in mid-air, couldn't help but laugh when he heard this, especially after seeing Thor's miserable state. He couldn't resist teasing him:

"The God of Thunder is actually afraid of lightning!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than Hela suddenly appeared beside him and kicked him to the ground.

"Mortal, how dare you speak ill of gods?"

Thanks to the vastness of Asgard, Tony was able to take to the air and engage in a simple tug-of-war with Hela. But that was all.

Tony crashed to the ground, and then the longsword, a symbol of death, pierced his body, pinning him to the ground.

Loki was somewhat exasperated; why did his sister like nailing people up so much?

He is now in the same position as before, with three flying swords stuck in his body, hanging on the wall in a humiliating posture.

Loki failed to dodge Hela's attack at first; he didn't even have time to fight back before Hela pinned him to the wall once again.

Whether Hela had a twisted sense of humor or not, Loki was nailed in the same position both times.

Tony's injuries were the least severe of the three, but they were no match for Thor and Loki's abnormal physical abilities.

Tony, in particular, was not prepared. Until he was pierced by the longsword, he thought that as a guest, the fight would not really affect him.

Tony realized he was sorely mistaken; Hela, that madwoman, wouldn't care that he was a guest. To the Goddess of Death, killing a Midgard was simply a matter of convenience.

The power of death was eroding Tony's internal organs, and this time he truly felt the approach of death.

Tony didn't know whether he would go to heaven or hell after he died.
