Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 69 A Predestined Calamity

Tony Stark seems destined for a fate he cannot escape; he appears to be facing a calamity where he must sacrifice his heart to gain boundless wisdom.

Willy Wonka helped him escape his kidnapping in Afghanistan, but after many twists and turns, Tony experienced a mythical version of being burned alive in Asgard.

Tony Stark's mortal body was completely unable to resist Hela's death power. The moment he was knocked down and pinned to the ground, Tony felt as if his entire body was melting.

Inside the chocolate factory, Willy Wonka witnessed all of this and frowned. He had expected Odin to stop Hela, but he didn't.

Willy Wonka only wanted to use Asgard to teach Tony a small lesson, to make him suffer a little, not to kill Tony.

So Willy Wonka, using the connection between the chocolate fruit and Asgard, reopened the opening in the same spot.

Tony was swallowed by the spatial rift and fell into the chocolate factory. Willy Wonka immediately removed the death energy from Tony's body.

"Alex, put Tony in the Chocolate River, but make sure he doesn't drown."

Willy Wonka gave Alex a brief explanation and then returned to Asgard.

Odin also appeared alongside Willy Wonka, and the two appeared together on the battlefield of the three gods.

Hela felt weak in an instant; the direct blessing from Asgard was severed, and Odin's appearance made the connection between Hela and Asgard almost negligible.

Odin is the true master of Asgard; everyone else is merely granted authority by Odin.

"Willy Wonka, I thought you would step in to stop me."

The moment Odin appeared, he explained to Willy Wonka that he did not want any disruption to their alliance.

Even though the two were secretly at odds, their private struggle for interests depended on their own abilities, and they couldn't afford to openly break off relations.

If the fighting takes place in Asgard, regardless of victory or defeat, Asgard will be destroyed. This is something Odin cannot tolerate; it would be tantamount to Ragnarok arriving prematurely.

The moment Odin and Willy Wonka appeared, they swept away all the death energy in Asgard, and Hela was also firmly imprisoned by Odin's power.

"Odin, are you afraid I'll kill Hela in revenge?"

Hela is bound by Odin's power, but like Thor and Loki, she is within the range of Odin's power. In fact, Hela is even closer to Odin in terms of location.

"Willy Wonka, that mortal named Tony was an accident. If the power of death is removed in time, there might still be a chance of saving him."

"The treasures in my vault can be used to repair his body, which has been ravaged by death, as long as he has a breath left."

Odin immediately offered a solution, this time prepared to spend a fortune, as such a treasure was extremely precious even in Asgard.

Willy Wonka didn't say anything. Tony was hanging on by a thread in the chocolate factory and wouldn't die anytime soon.

"Odin, this is what you should do. Healing Tony is a matter of course, not compensation."

"What can you offer to quell my anger? Or are you prepared to fight me in Asgard?"

Odin remained silent; for Odin, being able to take treasures from the treasury to heal Tony was already a huge concession.

He's just a mortal. Is Willy Wonka going to use that as an excuse to start a war with Asgard?

But Odin dared not gamble; he had already released Hela, and the plan was underway. Odin could not afford to be harmed during this process; he was the core of the entire plan.

Willy Wonka, seeing the hesitation on Odin's face, patiently waited for his reply.

Odin has indeed grown old, to the point where he dares not take risks, having lost the fearlessness of his youth. The elderly Odin prioritizes stability and goes to great lengths to avoid direct conflict with Willy Wonka.

Odin retrieved a golden flower from the treasury, along with the Ancient Winter's Chest, which exuded a terrifyingly cold aura.

The artifact, a divine possession of the Frost Giants, was a spoil of war from Odin's War of the Nine Realms. Now, Odin has taken it from the treasury of Asgard and given it to Willy Wonka as an apology.

The golden flower is Odin's collection, which can provide the user with tremendous vitality and promote the user's body's self-repair under the blessing of this vitality.

"Odin, next time in your family theater, don't arbitrarily arrange for me to appear. Remember, Totland and Asgard are partners, not subordinate forces of Asgard."

Willy Wonka accepted Odin's apology; the Frost Giant's artifact was valuable and possessed immense power.

Odin offered this as compensation, and Willy Wonka couldn't push him too far. After all, Willy Wonka didn't want to fight Odin at this time.

Getting two treasures from the Asgardian vault is already a great deal.

After receiving the two treasures, Willy Wonka immediately opened a spatial portal and returned to the chocolate factory. He then brought the golden flower to Tony.

"Alex, get Tony ashore and then pry his mouth open."

Alex tilted Tony's head to one side, inserted his thumb and forefinger into the corner of Tony's mouth, pressing his thumb against the lower jaw and gently pushing the upper jaw with his forefinger, slowly and gently prying it open.

And so, Alex gently opened a crack in Tony's tightly closed mouth.

Willy Wonka, holding the golden flower, inserted it into Tony's mouth through the pried-open opening. It melted instantly in Tony's mouth, turning into liquid and flowing automatically into his internal organs.

Life force leaked out of Tony's body, and with the support of this life force, Tony's internal organs, which had been eroded by the power of death, began to slowly repair themselves.

Alex breathed a sigh of relief; it seemed Tony Stark was saved.

But Willy Wonka's face remained solemn. He could clearly sense that Tony's organs were slowly repairing themselves and gradually regaining their vitality, except for his heart.

Tony's heart was dead; Hela had pierced it directly, and the power of death spread from his heart.

If organs are individuals, then Tony's other organs were only severely injured and could recover after receiving adequate treatment.

The heart died instantly, and even the most effective medicine could not revive a dead body.

Odin's treasures were excellent, but they were powerless against Tony's condition. Tony's vigorous life force filled his body with vitality, but his heart made him like a leaky bucket.

No matter how much water there is, it will all leak out of a bucket with a hole, and Tony's face grew even paler. The more active other organs are, the greater the side effects on the whole body.

Willy Wonka had an idea that had a high probability of saving Tony's life, but it was a gamble, and Tony needed a lot of luck to succeed.
