America's Greatest Villain: I Defeat Magic with Magic

The 911 was extremely fast, and in just a few breaths, it overtook several cars in front.

However, Chen Yuan was just a college student who had only recently gotten his driver's license, and he usually drove an ordinary Corolla.

This 600-horsepower four-wheel-drive beast was like an untamed wild horse in his hands.

In addition, although it was already late at night, Los Angeles' nightlife was just beginning.

Therefore, he soon had to slow down due to the dense traffic ahead.

The driver of the Ford Explorer was clearly an experienced driver, skillfully weaving through traffic and even using his size to force other vehicles to give way.

In no time at all, the distance that Chen Yuan had created with a single press of the accelerator was quickly closed by the Ford Explorer.

The high beams behind them pierced the 911's rearview mirror, leaving it a blinding white. Lin Xiaoxiao, in the passenger seat, was so frightened that she gripped her seatbelt tightly.

Chen Yuan knew that if things continued like this, it would be impossible to shake off the enemies behind him.

Moreover, the other vehicle was a large car, so even a minor collision could result in a fatal accident.

In this life-or-death situation, Chen Yuan didn't care about anything else and immediately activated the system in his mind.

However, this time, his goal was not to add attribute points.

In this situation, even increasing speed will hardly improve driving skills.

However, there is an even simpler and more direct way, which is the various skills provided by the system.

From the beginning, the system provided Chen Yuan with many practical skills to choose from, but because the villain value consumed was too high, they were never considered.

Now, with the 100 points he just acquired, Chen Yuan has accumulated 260 villain points.

He had been saving up until today, just to prepare for this kind of crisis! He silently repeated to himself:

"System, exchange for the skill [Intermediate Driving Mastery]!"

"Exchange for [Intermediate Driving Mastery] requires 200 Villain Points. Confirm?"

Although losing 200 villain points was a bit painful, there was no other way, so Chen Yuan didn't hesitate:

"confirm!"

In an instant, a flood of knowledge and muscle memory about vehicle performance, downshifting and rev-matching, and extreme driving patterns rushed into my mind.

When Chen Yuan stepped on the gas again, he had become a seasoned driver with many years of experience!

Meanwhile, the Ford Explorer behind it had already closed in on the left side of the 911's trunk, and it looked like it was about to deliver a powerful "PIT"!

Chen Yuan remained calm and quickly switched to the 911's sport mode, downshifted with his right hand, and then pressed the accelerator hard.

With a series of popping exhaust backfires, the Porsche 911 accelerated suddenly, like a precise scalpel, and darted out through the gap between two trucks in front of it, instantly leaving the Ford Explorer half a block behind.

The crisis was temporarily averted, but looking at the faint high beams in the rearview mirror, Chen Yuan knew that he had not completely shaken off the other party.

Fortunately, he redeemed the system skill in time, so he did not go in the wrong direction.

A few minutes later, the Porsche 911 successfully entered Highway 110.

Because only on highways can the performance of this sports car be fully unleashed!

With the engine roaring again, Chen Yuan increased the speed to 240 kilometers per hour within seconds.

Unfortunately, although traffic on the highway was thinner, there were still vehicles blocking the way from time to time.

That Ford Explorer seemed to have been modified, and its speed could even reach over 200 kilometers per hour!

Therefore, Chen Yuan was still unable to shake off his pursuers for the time being.

Just as the two cars were chasing each other on the highway, ambient lights that flashed red and blue suddenly appeared not far behind them!

Then a black and white Dodge charger quickly followed, which turned out to be a California Highway Patrol (CHP) vehicle.

This CHP patrol car was likely added to the speed limit immediately after spotting a Porsche 911 and a Ford Explorer speeding excessively at an intersection.

Chen Yuan was secretly alarmed, knowing that he had to shake off the other party in a short time, otherwise it would be extremely difficult to eliminate the star once the helicopter teammates were dispatched.

Without hesitation, he took advantage of the straight road in front of him and increased his speed to over 200 kilometers per hour again!

Since it's not my own car, it doesn't matter if I floor the gas pedal.

Stomp, stomp, stomp! What's there to be afraid of at full speed!

To hell with the police cars behind us, we have to squeeze every last drop of speed out of this Porsche today!

A ticket is nothing, I'll just pull over to the side of the road!

If you run fast enough, CHP's ambient lighting can only follow blindly behind!

The engine roared deafeningly; it was twin-turbocharged.

Lin Xiaoxiao, in the passenger seat, grew increasingly pale, gripping the seatbelt tightly with both hands, clenching her teeth and remaining silent.

It was as if she was afraid that if she called out "Mom," it would disturb Chen Yuan's concentration on driving and cause the car and Chen Yuan to be smashed to pieces!

The three cars, like streaks of light, engaged in a fierce chase on the wide highway.

With the roar of the 911 engine and the warning lights, pedestrians and vehicles in the surrounding area quickly gave way.

Thanks to the outstanding performance of the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the newly acquired [Intermediate Driving Mastery] skill, Chen Yuan skillfully maneuvered through traffic, maintaining a safe distance from the cars behind him.

This scene made Reyes grip the steering wheel of the Ford Explorer tightly, feeling extremely agitated.

As a special investigator for the California Attorney General's office, he has statewide law enforcement authority, and chasing a speeding sports car is naturally within his jurisdiction.

However, this time the mission was to eliminate a hitman for a certain state legislator.

The assassin, having learned too much he shouldn't have, must be silenced forever before CHP captures him alive.

Therefore, Reyes could not reveal his identity. In the eyes of the CHP patrol car following closely behind, he was just like the Porsche 911 in front of him, a street racer who was disturbing public order late at night.

Because the task given by the congressman was so urgent, Reyes only knew that the other party was a Chinese man and a Chinese woman, and when he arrived at the club, he saw them get into a blue Porsche 911.

So the best way is to stage a car accident, which is also one of Reyes's specialties.

What puzzled Reyes the most was that the 911's initial driving skills were like those of a novice who had only been behind the wheel for a few days, full of mistakes.

But as he approached the other party, 911 suddenly sped up, as if he had a different driver.

They then sped up to over 200 kilometers per hour on the highway.

Therefore, Reyes felt that he had been tricked.

Anyone who can drive at 200 km/h and still smoothly overtake others must be at least a five-star expert!

Thinking about it carefully, it's not surprising. A killer that can give state legislators a headache is not something that can be solved so easily.

Just then, the 911 ahead suddenly turned a corner, seemingly intending to leave the highway, giving Reyes an opportunity.

Speed is key on curves, and Reyes is confident that his years of driving experience will allow him to catch up with his opponent here!

Chen Yuan's reason for leaving the highway was simple: after this period of adjustment, coupled with the rich experience gained from the [Intermediate Driving Mastery], he had a thorough understanding of the Porsche 911's performance.

Therefore, even in the city with heavy traffic, he was confident that he could shake off his pursuers.

Moreover, with the high-rise buildings and overpasses of Los Angeles providing cover, even if the police deploy helicopters, they can find a hiding place in a short time.

However, just as the curve was about to end, a pale red information panel suddenly popped up in the shadows of the dark emergency lane ahead.

[Target: XXX, California Highway Patrol]

Recent criminal acts: ...

Because of the distance, Chen Yuan couldn't see the contents of the panel for a moment, but he was certain that there was a hostile person lurking there in front of him.

Chen Yuan was terrified and reacted instinctively.

Instead of slamming on the brakes to slow down, he turned the steering wheel to the left.

The rear of the 911 slid violently, drifting out of the bend in an extreme fishtail maneuver, scraping against a row of dark things on the ground!

It was only then that Chen Yuan realized that it was a tire deflation device thrown out by a CHP patrol officer lying in wait by the roadside!

When Reyes, who was following closely behind, saw Chen Yuan suddenly change lanes, it was too late to react.

The heavy Ford Explorer, traveling at nearly 200 kilometers per hour, thoroughly ran over the tire puncture site.

With all four tires bursting at the same time, coupled with the high-speed cornering, the Explorer instantly lost control and spun wildly on the road.

The car eventually came to a stop and crashed heavily into the roadside guardrail.

Since this is a bend leading off the highway, the road surface is not very wide.

Therefore, the explorer's massive body completely blocked most of the road, and also blocked the Dodge Charger that was following closely behind.

A CHP officer immediately drew his gun, got out of the car, rushed to the Explorer whose windshield was completely shattered, and dragged the unconscious Reyes out.

The blue Porsche 911 had long since disappeared into the vast night of Los Angeles.
