America's Greatest Villain: I Defeat Magic with Magic

After crawling for nearly a hundred meters along the narrow ventilation duct, Chen Yuan finally encountered an upward passage, which was most likely the exit.

Sporadic gunshots could still be heard not far behind, likely from remnants of the Blood Hands or Sinaloa gang putting up a last-ditch resistance.

As is customary, the LAPD will definitely use police dogs to search the surrounding area after clearing the area.

Therefore, Chen Yuan dared not stay here any longer. He suddenly exerted force with both arms, pushed open the already somewhat corroded ventilation mesh, and rolled over to get outside.

Turning my head, I saw an LAPD patrol car parked not far behind me, its flashing red and blue ambient lights illuminating the surrounding area in an intermittent manner.

Fortunately, Chen Yuan was wearing a pure black trench coat, and the surrounding area was a patch of waist-high weeds, so his whereabouts were not exposed for the time being.

He crouched low and moved forward cautiously; not far away was the back wall of his father's car dismantling plant.

Because the two gangs had drawn all the police's attention to the warehouse, the area around the dismantling plant was eerily quiet, with not a soul in sight.

Once you cross this factory area and reach the highway on the other side, you can escape completely!

The walls of the dismantling plant were over a meter high, but for Chen Yuan, who had just enhanced his strength to 1.5, this was no obstacle.

He took two running steps, then easily vaulted over the wall with one hand.

However, just as he was about to continue forward, a dark shadow suddenly flashed past the corner of his eye!

Immediately afterwards, a gust of wind suddenly rushed out from the nearby pile of wrecked cars and right in front of him!

Chen Yuan was shocked. He never expected that there would still be people hiding in this factory area that should have been cleared out!

Although it was dark, he could still tell from the cold glint reflected from the other person's hand that the weapon was a dagger!

Fortunately, his speed and strength far exceeded those of ordinary people. The moment he sensed the approaching gust of wind, he immediately took a step back and dodged sharply to the side.

Although his posture was somewhat awkward, he managed to narrowly escape the fatal sneak attack!

Upon closer inspection, the attacker turned out to be a white man wearing a leather jacket.

The Bloody Hands gang is primarily composed of Black people, while the Sinaloa gang is mostly made up of Hispanics.

Therefore, the sudden appearance of a white stranger here really surprised Chen Yuan.

However, the system information panel that appeared above the other party's head quickly answered his question:

[Target: Ivanov, 28 years old. Ostensibly the leader of the Blood Hand Gang, but actually an undercover agent for the Sinaloa Gang and a close confidant of Mad Bear.]

[Recent fatal incriminating act: Twenty minutes ago, while searching for a cell phone inside the Old Man's Auto Dismantling Plant, he slit the throat of "Black Jack," a fellow member of the Bloody Hands, from behind and allowed the Sinaloa members to escape.]

This person was actually Sinaloa's Deep Throat planted in the Bloodhand Gang, and he even rose to become one of the leaders!

Although the system notification was only a few words, Chen Yuan's brain worked at lightning speed, piecing together the whole truth of the matter in an instant, based on the current situation.

Not long ago, Rick of the Bloodhands and Mad Bear of Sinaloa reached a brief agreement to each send two trusted men into the dismantling plant to search for cell phones.

One of the two men sent by the Blood Hand Gang was Ivanov, who was standing right in front of them.

He was originally an undercover agent sent by Sinaloa. Therefore, as soon as he entered the factory area, he immediately betrayed them and slit the throat of another Bloodhands member, "Black Jack".

Afterwards, two members of the Sinaloa group went out to report, while Ivanov used this as cover to stay behind and continue searching for the mad bear's phone alone.

In this way, even if Bloodhand Rick discovers that his men have been killed, he won't suspect that there are Mad Bear's men in the factory area.

This gave Ivanov ample time to look for the phone.

As a result of a series of unforeseen events, with the arrival of the SWAT team, Mad Bear and the rest of his gang members were forced into a nearby warehouse.

Ivanov, who remained inside the dismantling plant, was not surrounded by SWAT and LAPD.

However, he stayed here instead of taking advantage of the chaos to escape, most likely because only a very few people knew his undercover identity.

If Mad Bear dies in the warehouse tonight, and his secret of killing his fellow Blood Hands gang members is discovered, then no matter how big Los Angeles is, he will have nowhere to hide in either the underworld or the legitimate world!

Therefore, he approached the warehouse, intending to rescue the mad bear, but happened to run into Chen Yuan who was climbing over the wall.

Seeing that his sneak attack had failed to take down Chen Yuan, Ivanov immediately realized that the Asian man in front of him was a rare tough opponent.

His eyes flashed with a fierce light, and he immediately pulled out a pistol, aiming it at Chen Yuan's forehead.

However, facing the dark muzzle of the gun, Chen Yuan showed no fear. Instead, he took a step forward, facing the gun barrel directly, and sneered in a low voice:

"Shoot, Ivanov. Dozens of SWAT officers are outside. If you kill me, you won't get out of here alive either."

Upon hearing Chen Yuan call out his real name right away, Ivanov's facial muscles twitched violently, and his expression instantly turned one of surprise and uncertainty.

He had previously heard from Bloodhand members that Daryl had told a mysterious Asian tycoon about the phone's whereabouts.

Could this be the person standing right in front of me?!

And judging from the direction he came from, it was actually that warehouse.

In other words, he single-handedly broke through the encirclement of dozens of SWAT and LAPD members and arrived here unscathed.

This person's strength is simply terrifying!

Then, Chen Yuan continued, facing the gun barrel, and said calmly:

"Rick and Mad Bear are both dead. SWAT has sent them to hell. Now, no one except me knows you're Mad Bear's henchman planted by Rick."

As soon as he finished speaking, Ivanov's eyes widened, the veins on the back of his hand gripping the gun bulged, and he was about to pull the trigger.

How could this young Asian man know about his dual identity?!

He had always maintained a one-way communication with Mad Bear, and the few elite members of the gang who knew his identity could not escape SWAT's capture today.

Therefore, if Mad Bear dies, he can only be considered a member of the Blood Hand Gang in public.

But Rick, the leader of the Bloodhands, also went in tonight, and the remaining elite members are either dead or captured.

If he goes back now, how can he explain to the other leaders that he was the only one who survived unharmed?

Once someone discovers the true cause of Blackjack's death, he will be torn to pieces by the remnants of the Bloodhands!

Chen Yuan sensed the despair in the other man's eyes, so he continued to throw out bait:

"Perhaps you need my help, Ivanov. I can help you cover up tonight's events perfectly, and even get you back into the Bloodhand Gang, putting the entire gang under your complete control."

"That's impossible!"

Ivanov instinctively growled in denial.

"I'm white! Even if Rick is dead, it's absolutely not my place to be in charge of the gang!"

However, Chen Yuan laughed dismissively, his voice full of confidence:

"Ivanov, since I know you are Mad Bear's pawn planted in the Blood Hand Gang, I naturally also know the shady secrets of the Blood Hand Gang and the other leaders of the Sinaloa Gang."

"If you stay here, you'll only die. But if we cooperate, you'll not only leave here alive, but you'll also become the king of the underworld in South Los Angeles."

Chen Yuan's words made Ivanov's breathing become heavy instantly.

As a descendant of Eastern European immigrants from a humble background, making it in the Los Angeles underworld is harder than climbing to heaven, which is why he took the risk of becoming an undercover agent planted by Mad Bear next to Rick.

Now that Mad Bear and Rick have both perished, a mysterious Asian man has suddenly appeared before them.

Not only did the other party see through his double agent identity at a glance, but they also claimed to have an intelligence network capable of overthrowing the entire South Los Angeles gang leadership!

Perhaps this mysterious mastermind can really keep his promise and put him on the throne of the Los Angeles underworld?

Overwhelming ambition finally overwhelmed fear. Ivanov slowly lowered his gun, exhaled a heavy breath, and gritted his teeth as he asked:

"What should I do?"

Chen Yuan straightened his collar and grinned:

"First, we need to find a way to get out of here."
