Chapter 110 How Crazy Are You When You're Crazy?

Chapter 110 How Crazy Are You When You're Crazy?

At the entrance of the Rebirth Nightclub, bodyguard Emeric keenly sensed the murderous intent lurking within Vito.

He stood in the doorway, his palm forward to block Vito.

"Vito, this is the afterlife, don't cause trouble."

Vito yanked Emeric away. This strong and skilled man hadn't expected Vito to have such immense strength and could only watch helplessly as Vito walked into the afterlife.

Emeric immediately reported to Rogge.

"Vito has entered the afterlife; something's wrong with him, and there might be bloodshed."

Roger, who was discussing business in a booth, frowned. It had been a long time since anyone dared to cause trouble in the afterlife.

As soon as he entered, several mercenaries who were familiar with Vito greeted him, but Vito did not respond. He had already interrogated the driver at the door, and Sig was in booth number six.

Two bodyguards from the afterlife came up and stopped Vito.

"Don't cause trouble, Vito!"

Vito grabbed the necks of the two bodyguards with his left and right hands respectively, and they instantly lost their ability to move and fell down.

The commotion attracted a lot of attention. Rebecca and Falco, who were sitting at the bar drinking, watched it all with great interest.

"Waaah~ Vito-chan is really angry today!"

"I've heard that in the afterlife, no one is allowed to cause trouble. Let's see how Roger handles this."

Sieg was chatting and laughing with a group of mercenaries. He wanted these mercenaries to take the lead in selling his property to those gangs that liked to turn their backs on people. He wanted to get a good price so that his hard work wouldn't be wasted. Euros were beautiful, and he couldn't afford to lose a single cent.

Once the people he sent have succeeded, he will be able to fly away and live a life of luxury.

Sieg was also drawn to the commotion; he glanced over casually, then his eyes widened.

Vito also saw Sig. He rushed straight to Sig's booth and delivered a Leo Kick, creating a huge dent in the chest prosthetic of Sig's bodyguard.

"Vito! This is the afterlife!"

Sieg was shocked by Vito's audacity.

Vito sneered.

"Sig, the moment you sent someone to sabotage me, you got closer and closer to your afterlife! I'm going to gouge your eyes out and make you swallow them!"

The mercenary who was doing business with Sieg was also hot-tempered. He had heard of Vito's reputation, but they were all out there risking their lives, so who was afraid of whom?

The mercenary stood up, drew his gun, and pointed it at Vito's head.

Vito delivered a roundhouse kick that sent the mercenary leader's head spinning halfway around, causing him to fall onto the booth.

"Holy crap! This is a huge problem!"

Some of the mercenaries nearby gasped in surprise.

Several bodyguards from the afterlife, led by Crispin Wayland, arrived to stop Vito.

Little Cha stood in their way.

"Hey Vito, why are you looking for enemies even in your next life?"

Chrispin Whelan had a good impression of Vito, but Vito really went too far today.

Vito grabbed Sieg by the neck and said to Crispin Wayland.

"Don't worry, I'll drag him out and kill him. I won't let him get away with it."

Chrispin Whelan scratched his head with his pistol.

"That probably won't work either. If everyone did that, Roger probably wouldn't be able to do business."

Vito picked up Sig and led him outside.

"I'm sorry, Wei Lan, I'm not discussing this with you, I'm just letting you know."

Seeing Vito's actions, the bodyguards raised their guns and aimed them at Vito and Cha.

Cha's hand-held machine gun is ready to fire at any moment.

"Damn it! It's Vito, Tiger, hurry up and catch up with me!"

At this moment, several mercenaries jumped over, drew their guns, and confronted the bodyguards.

When Vito saw the newcomer, he recognized him as Ryan, whom he had met on his first job in the afterlife. His partner, Tiger, was lying on the pool table bleeding profusely.

Although Ryan is a mercenary, he is loyal and righteous. Vito helped him save his team members, and it would be disloyal of him to stand by and watch Vito being held at gunpoint.

At that moment, a petite figure flashed into the middle of the crowd, holding an exaggeratedly designed Malorian Overture pistol on her disproportionately large, gorilla-like arm.

"Vito-chan~ You're being naughty."

Vito was also surprised that someone would join him in causing trouble. He threw Sieg to the ground and stepped forward to block the gun barrels of Weyland and the others.

When friends come to help you, you can't expect them to shoulder everything for you.

Wei Lan had never witnessed Vito's skills before, but just from those two moves, he knew Vito was very strong.

"There are rules for the next life!"

"rule?"

Vito's prosthetic eye scanned and marked the people in the arena.

"I came to Night City, and every day people talk to me about the rules of Night City and the rules of mercenaries, but I find that your only rule seems to be the law of the jungle!"

I will never again be foolish enough to snatch lives from those who are destined to be eaten by deranged lunatics. Those scum I can't stand—if they believe in God, I'll send them to meet God; if they believe in Buddha, I'll send them to meet Buddha!

"You fucking—"

Upon hearing Vito's arrogant words, one of the bodyguards immediately shoved a gun in front of Vito's face, intending to teach him a lesson.

Vito grabbed the gun and, in doing so, threw the bodyguard over his shoulder.

Vito then raised his knee and snapped the needle shotgun held by his bodyguard.

"What are you gesturing for if you're afraid to shoot?"

A major battle was about to break out. Falco shook his head, stepped down from the bar, and stood next to Rebecca.

"I used to know an idiot who loved to break the rules of the next life, Vito, you've got guts."

Rogge may have arrived late, but he had actually been observing Vito for a long time.

"Put the gun down."

Chrispin Wayland and the others put down their guns.

"Capable people often have big tempers, but don't you think you're too confident in yourself?"

Roger sat down in the booth next to him and slowly began to speak.

Vito lifted Sig back up from the ground.

"I'm sorry, I lacked self-confidence. I will compensate you for your losses, but I want to take her with me, and no one can stop me!"

Roger kept an eye on Vito; Vito was still useful to her, so there was no need to ruin the relationship.

"In your next life, you can drink alcohol, but I don't think you'll be able to get any jobs."

Then Roger glanced at Ryan's team and Rebecca.

"As for them? The next life is in dire need of mercenaries who are loyal to their country. What kind of jobs they can take depends on their abilities."

Vito ignored Roger, nodded his thanks to the person who had helped him, and left the afterlife with Cha.

Vito led Sig to the Bay Wharf in Night City.

He smacked the feigning-death Sieg with euros.

"Hand over all the information about how biotechnology is causing me trouble!"

Vito didn't block Sig's signal. He watched as Sig's eyes glowed red as he kept calling for reinforcements, and laughed.

"I can play with you all day long. Call everyone you know, and I'll give each of them a bullet!"

None of Sieg's men answered the phone, and he felt a sense of despair. Vito was a ruthless man, and he was sure he was doomed this time.

He told Vito everything and begged Vito to spare his life.

Vito got the information he wanted and had Cha tie up Sig and stuff him into a box.

He threw a bottle of strong medicine into the box.

"Hey you fake drug seller, I'll give you a bottle of the real good stuff so you can smoke it on the go."

Twenty minutes later, Sieg slept with the fish, if there were any fish left in the sea.
