Warhammer 40 Unorthodox Primarch

Chapter 18 Brother, let's build the second empire!

The People's Guardians directly boarded the Gray Knights' fleet and took control of the warships. Now that the conflict had occurred, Li Taiji was determined to go all the way.

If they weren't so weak, Li Taiji would have wanted to kill all the Gray Knights, because their harm to humanity outweighed their contributions, and they would have had a reason to die.

Li Taiji checked his system points. This system was created by the Emperor and actually consisted of two parts. The part belonging to Li Taiji himself needed to be developed by him, while the Emperor could only provide the things from this world.

Li Taiji directly used the points earned from defending against Angron to exchange for a Glory Queen-class battleship, which is also the standard equipment for Primarchs. This battleship is nearly 30 kilometers long and can be said to have maxed out its attributes, with at least its firepower and defense being specially upgraded.

The Gray Knights instilled a sense of crisis in Li Taiji. Being repeatedly outmaneuvered and parachuted in wasn't just a matter of face; there was also the risk of things going wrong...

The Grey Knights' infamy isn't just about arrogance; they even dared to raid Fenris, the home of the Space Wolves. It's fair to say they're no longer the Grey Knights originally envisioned.

They did not betray the emperor, but they may not have believed in him either, or the emperor was just a slogan for them to maintain their hegemony and interests!

Guilliman learned of the conflict between Li Taiji and the Grey Knight, so he rushed over immediately. Upon seeing the Glory Queen-class battleship, Guilliman seemed to understand something. Perhaps the conflict was permitted by the Emperor, and his father was showing more favoritism towards this younger brother...

"Greetings, Uncle Thirteen! Why did you come in person?" Lin Dafa greeted Killman with a hearty laugh.

Chang Shengjun, who was next to him, was also an acquaintance and used to his way of greeting people.

"Where is Li Taiji?" Killieman asked.

"Inside! They're waiting for Uncle Thirteen inside..." Lin Da said enthusiastically.

Guilliman entered Li Taiji's camp, where Li Taiji was practicing polearm combat techniques, which consisted of simple slashing and thrusting. In combat, all instincts evolve from the most basic elements. Li Taiji's weakness was experience, so he could only seize the time to hone his combat techniques.

"Thirteenth Brother!" Li Taiji greeted him.

"What are your plans for going up against the court?" Killieman asked bluntly.

"They have defied the Emperor's will and are wreaking havoc in the Emperor's name. Their reach into Alteramar is a test of your will. The High Lords Council has no good intentions regarding your awakening. From a self-interested perspective, they would prefer you to remain asleep in the Static Field..." Li Taiji said.

"It's not time to confront the High Lords yet. The five hundred worlds of Alteramar need to be reintegrated, and you need to expand your offspring..." Guilliman didn't blame Li Taiji for being impulsive. On the contrary, Guilliman felt that Li Taiji did the right thing. The Grey Knights' frequent extermination and slaughter orders had reached the extreme in their oppression of other forces, especially their disrespect for the Primarchs.

While it's understandable that the Custodians harbored resentment towards the Primarchs after the Horus Rebellion, the Grey Knights only returned after the Emperor ascended the Golden Throne, making their arrogance and prejudice more than just a matter of stance.

The conflict within the human empire is escalating. The reason they dare not touch Guilliman is because the Smurfs are too numerous. They simply cannot match Guilliman's ability to mass-produce troops and manage internal affairs. In fact, it is said that 75% of the Astartes are Guilliman's sons!

However, testing and suppressing are perfectly acceptable. Eliminating the Kadia survivors under the guise of the Chaos invasion is of little importance to the Imperium, but it is most suitable for undermining Guilliman's prestige, and if possible, even for subduing Li Taiji, the Primarch who has just returned...

The High Lords Council knew their weaknesses, so this was a test. They thought two hundred Grey Knights would be enough to keep things in check, but they were unexpectedly countered by their natural abilities. Their proud psionic powers were no match for Li Taiji, let alone the eight hundred Guardians of the People.

The Grey Knight is currently engaged in a heated exchange with the People's Guardian in the Duel Pit, both of them practically crippled. As for how long he'll be lying there, nobody knows. In everyone's eyes, the Grey Knight is just a fragile glass doll—pretty to look at but incredibly easy to break…

"Thirteenth Brother, the Second Empire might be right. The Emperor is our father, so the Second Empire isn't exactly a rebel..." Li Taiji dropped a bombshell right off the bat.

"You! Where did you get all this from..." Guilliman frowned slightly.

The Second Empire refers to the period of the Horus Rebellion. At that time, the hypothesis was that after the fall of Terra, loyal Primarchs formed a new empire to counter the Horus Rebellion. Key members included Guilliman, Sanguiles, and perhaps Rogdorn, among others...

But Terra managed to protect it, and the plan became a secret, taboo to even mention. Yet, ten thousand years have passed in the blink of an eye, and this past should have been buried long ago, but unexpectedly, this younger brother who has just returned has learned of it...

"There are no absolute secrets in the world. In fact, the Emperor is more like he is trapped on the Golden Throne of Terra. Given the current state of the empire's corruption, probably no one wants him to rise from the Golden Throne. A half-dead Emperor has become their symbol of authority, and all the evil is done in the name of the Emperor! So overthrowing them does not mean disloyalty to the Emperor! They are not comparable to the Emperor! The blood of Saint Gilles has already stained the past. I do not want anything to happen to you. You are not immortal, nor is Saint Gilles. So I think we should take action..." Li Taiji spoke these words with great emotion.

In truth, Guilliman was really good to him. From any perspective, Guilliman was his natural ally. Guilliman was often hampered by the rules, so he would break them! After all, he always carried the Emperor's blessing, which was the best divine revelation!

Only a complete revolution can bring a corrupt world back to life, even restoring humanity to the level of civilization of its golden age!

Step out of the Milky Way and into a wider world!

But the prerequisite is to deal with all the enemies, big and small, within the galaxy, and the biggest enemy may even come from within!

Many people rebelled, but did not join Chaos. These people could actually be won over, but given the current power structure, the return of any Primarch would make them an enemy of the High Lords and the Inquisition on Terra. The return of a Primarch would naturally require a redistribution of power.

Li Taiji had no doubt that if they reached a certain point, they would launch another rebellion!

Guilliman's appointment as the Empire's political leader was permitted by the Emperor. If it were Leon Johnson who had returned, he would likely have slaughtered all the high lords and human nobles on Terra immediately! The Lion King would not care about such things.

"Make good preparations for war and develop properly. A new expedition must begin eventually. This region is a land for development. If you want to be respected, eight hundred Guardians of the People are not enough to protect the people. I will send someone to help you complete the surgery on Astartes and expand your Guardians of the People. Don't mention the Second Reich anymore. We have always been loyal to our father..." Guilliman sighed slightly.

Guilliman returned to Macurag, leaving behind many people to help Li Taiji, including the great sage Belisarius Kaul's men. They wanted to quickly build the planet into one capable of self-defense, and also to implant gene seeds into more qualified warriors.
