Hogwarts: This holy light is righteously evil

Chapter 151 I suppose you and Katie are making good progress?

Chapter 151 I suppose you and Katie are making good progress?

"This is the lunch my mom specially prepared for me this morning."

Hearing the sound, Puni looked up and his gaze fell on the simple, unadorned sandwich.

He had previously tasted Mrs. Weasley's cooking when he was a guest at the Weasleys' house.

Those ordinary-looking home-cooked meals, however, contained a unique warmth and savory charm, with exceptionally outstanding textures and flavors. They overturned his stereotypes about traditional British food, especially the meat dishes prepared by the other party, which were absolutely delicious and left a lasting impression on him.

Seeing Ron's reluctant expression, Puni stepped in to smooth things over: "If you're not planning to eat, why don't you leave it to me?"

Ron froze, looking at Puni with disbelief.

He looked down at the simple sandwich in his hand, compared it with the dazzling array of novel snacks on the table, and then met Puni's serious and earnest gaze, which was not joking at all, and immediately realized what was going on.

"Of course! You can have them all!" Ron quickly handed the sandwiches to Puni, afraid the other might change his mind, then gave a relaxed smile. "Consider it a thank you gift for treating me!"

Harry couldn't help but chuckle softly as he watched their amusing interaction.

Puni calmly accepted the sandwich and peeled off the outer oil paper.

The food had cooled down, but that didn't affect the taste.

He broke off a small piece and put it in his mouth. The meat slices were evenly thick, layered with fresh vegetables, and the texture and flavor were rich and mellow.

He closed his eyes slightly, savoring the familiar, homey taste.

Harry, who was watching from the sidelines, unconsciously swallowed.

He had grown up eating the Dursleys's rough and perfunctory meals. Aunt Petunia was never good at cooking, and most of the dishes were just simple stews with bland flavors. He often had to cook for himself and had almost never eaten a refined home-cooked meal.

Penny opened his eyes just in time to see Harry's envious little gesture. He immediately broke off a piece of sandwich and handed it to her, saying generously, "You should try it too. Mrs. Weasley's cooking is outstanding. If you ever have the chance to visit the Burrow, praise her cooking a few more times; she'll be very happy."

Ron nodded vigorously in agreement.

My mother only prepares a lavish meal when entertaining guests.

Normally, the family eats whatever is available, without any option to order or a variety of dishes. Therefore, every child in the family looks forward to having guests come over.

Harry took the food offered to him, hesitated for a moment, and took a small bite.

The next second, his emerald green eyes widened slightly, his heart filled with surprise.

This seemingly ordinary sandwich tasted far better than he expected.

The soft pasta wraps around the savory and rich beef, paired with refreshing vegetables to balance the flavors. The layers are just right, even more delicious than the only steak he had ever eaten, the one delivered to Dudley's birthday party.

The thought of the Weasleys enjoying such delicious home-cooked meals every day filled Harry with a deeper longing for the Burrow, a place brimming with the warmth of everyday life.

Ron, with a bite of pumpkin pie in his mouth, watched the two of them enjoy the sandwiches he had originally disliked. Suddenly, he felt that even the sweet pie in his mouth had lost its original flavor, and a subtle sense of disappointment arose in his heart.

Puni, who is in a period of rapid growth, has a huge appetite, and a small sandwich is not enough to fill him up.

He ate with a calm and refined manner, yet his speed was not slow. He quickly finished off the main course in front of him and even shared some with Harry.

Working together, the group quickly finished off the crucible cakes, pumpkin pies, and other staple foods on the table.

Qiu Zhang was also full.

After having a full meal, the atmosphere in the private room became even more relaxed and comfortable.

The group chatted and joked as they casually tidied up the snack packaging.

Harry picked up a box of chocolate frogs from the table and examined it with great curiosity.

"Be careful how you open it."

Seeing this, Puni quickly reminded him and picked up a box to demonstrate, "First, tear a small opening, and when the chocolate frog inside is about to jump out, immediately reach out and pinch its body."

As soon as he finished speaking, he picked up a chocolate frog that was about to jump out of the box and calmly put it into his mouth.

Harry tried to open the box like him, but just as the Chocolate Frog was about to leap out, he couldn't react in time. The Chocolate Frog landed directly on his cheek, then used the momentum to leap away from his hand and finally jumped out of the train window and disappeared.

"I'm still not quite used to eating things that move." Harry scratched his head awkwardly and picked up the wizard collection cards that had fallen out of the box.

"What a pity." Ron sighed regretfully. "Chocolate frogs usually only hop once or twice; they rarely run away."

He leaned closer to examine the card in Harry's hand and immediately exclaimed, "It's Dumbledore! I've already collected six duplicates of this card."

Harry looked down at the portrait on the card. The silver-haired old man in the picture wore crescent-shaped glasses and had a wise and gentle look in his eyes.

The next second, Dumbledore in the portrait winked at him gently, then moved slightly and walked around inside the frame.

"You can take this one if you like."

Ron was about to offer to give them away when he suddenly remembered that Puni was right beside him and that Puni often provided the twins with chocolate frogs for free. He silently swallowed his words and pretended to rummage through his own card pile.

Seeing this, Penny pulled out several duplicate wizard cards from his snack pile and handed them to Harry.

"I'm planning to collect special types of cards," Penny casually explained. "I also posted an exchange notice on the Gryffindor bulletin board with Fred and George, offering to exchange brand-new Chocolate Frog products for all sorts of rare cards."

"Thank you!" Harry carefully put the card away.

He had seen the flea market in Muggle Park and secretly thought that perhaps he could collect more different wizard portraits by exchanging cards in the future.

Puni smiled faintly at his delighted expression, then looked at the Chocolate Frog wrapper in his hand and slowly began to express his thoughts: "I even wrote a letter of suggestion to the company that produces Chocolate Frog before."

"Write a letter?" Ron asked curiously. "Is it to complain that the Chocolate Frog jumped away too easily?"

"No, that's not it."

Puni shook his head slightly and explained his idea: "I suggest they launch exclusive special edition cards that can be blessed with magic so that the portraits glow in the dark, or use special gold and silver inks to make limited edition collectibles. They could even let the characters on the cards perform some simple and harmless spells to enhance the cards' fun and collectible value."

"Just like your Golden Dragon Dragon War cards?"

"Yes."

Harry was immediately intrigued by Penny's idea for the limited-edition magic card design, his eyes filled with amazement.

He couldn't help but imagine that wizard cards with a glow-in-the-dark effect and the ability to cast small spells would be unique and treasured collectibles.

Puni shrugged slightly.

"Unfortunately, my suggestion letter went unanswered, and the other party never gave any reply. I suppose the Magic Snacks company felt that children's ideas had no practical value, or that the cost of the special process was too high, making it not worth the effort."

Before the two could delve deeper into the topic, Ron's attention was drawn to the Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans on the table.

This candy with its completely random flavor has a fatal attraction for him, making it a fun and unpredictable challenge.

While urging Harry and Puni to try it together, he picked out a dark-colored bean with a grayish-brown hue and popped it into his mouth without hesitation.

After just two bites, Ron's face contorted instantly. He quickly spat out the beans in his mouth, grabbed a handful of pumpkin juice, and gulped down several mouthfuls to wash away the strange taste.

"This is awful! It tastes exactly like earwax!" Ron complained bitterly, looking utterly defeated. "George tricked me by saying it was honey-flavored. Those twins are just bullying me!"

Seeing Ron's exaggerated yet genuine reaction, Harry couldn't help but laugh out loud, and most of his worries dissipated.

He carefully selected a bright yellow candy and put it in his mouth; the first taste was a refreshing and sweet lemon flavor.

Good luck.

Puni has never been interested in candies with random flavors and the risk of making a mistake. He prefers the stable taste of chocolate and lemon hard candy to the unknown thrill.

Harry and Ron, on the other hand, were having a great time, constantly drawing new Flavored Beans, sometimes surprised and sometimes annoyed, their cheerful laughter mixed with the sweet aroma of snacks, filling the entire box.

The train sped forward, and the scenery outside the window changed quietly. The once continuous fields gradually faded away, replaced by rolling forests and undulating hills, which meant that the train had entered Scotland and was getting closer and closer to Hogwarts.

Ron suddenly remembered something, bent down and rummaged through the old suitcase at his feet. After a moment of searching, he pulled out a fat rat with a bloated body and dull, yellowish fur.

The little one had its eyes closed, curled up in a ball, and remained fast asleep without making a sound.

"I only have Scabbers as a pet." Ron looked at the lifeless little mouse with a hint of sadness. "It's usually extremely lazy and does almost nothing but sleep. It used to be Percy's pet. When he became a prefect and got a new pet, he left Scabbers to me."

The moment Banban was exposed to the air, Puni's brow furrowed almost imperceptibly.

His gaze was fixed on the seemingly ordinary mouse, and he keenly detected a faint magical fluctuation lingering on its body.

This aura was very strange. It seemed to be the energy field naturally possessed by magical creatures, but Puni could determine with his magical perception that Scabbers did not possess the characteristics of magical creatures. Ordinary Muggle rats could not possibly possess such a strange magical aura.

It's you.

"Has this mouse been kept in your house for a long time?"

"Yes, I've had it for many years."

Ron gently placed Banban on his lap. The little guy remained curled up and didn't move. "It's been in the house as long as I can remember. My mom said it's very old and probably won't live much longer."

The knocking on the cubicle door sounded again.

Puni looked up and saw that the person standing outside the door was Draco.

At this moment, he looked dejected and his posture was low. He lacked his usual arrogance and was full of frustration.

Two tall, robust boys followed closely behind him, their physiques far exceeding those of other freshmen of the same age. At first glance, they might even be mistaken for upperclassmen.

Puni recognized Gore and Crabbe at a glance, and secretly mocked himself for not being qualified to judge other people's figures, since his own frame and body were naturally slender.

Based on Draco's current state, he roughly guessed the cause and effect.

Presumably, the other party had gone to find Harry specifically, and most likely encountered Ron along the way. Ron then chimed in and stirred things up, leading to several arguments, and ultimately the other party lost.

Puni remained completely unmoved and had no intention of opening the door.

The fact that Puni and Qiu are dating has already sparked heated discussions in the pureblood community. Many pureblood families that adhere to tradition are dissatisfied, believing that this relationship will break the established pattern of pureblood marriage and reduce the family's marriage options.

Narcissa had approached Puni several times to negotiate, but he had always firmly refused.

Draco, having been exposed to his family's pure-blood ideology for many years, would inevitably bring up this matter and make inappropriate remarks whenever he entered the house for casual conversation.

To avoid any unpleasantness and to teach the other person a lesson on the spot, Puni simply avoided suspicion and refused to open the door.

Draco waited outside the door several times, but no one opened it, so he had no choice but to give up.

He knew Puni's character very well; he was decisive and rarely changed his mind once he made a decision.

He could only turn and leave with the slow-witted Goyle and Crabbe.

Slowly, the train came to a smooth stop at Hogwarts Station.

Puni took Qiu's hand and they got off the train together. Under the cover of night, Hagrid's tall figure stood out, still guiding the new students in an orderly manner.

Qiu, who had already entered the second year, couldn't shake off last year's habit and wanted to follow the new students forward. It wasn't until Puni gently grabbed her wrist that she suddenly came to her senses, realized her lapse in composure, and her cheeks instantly turned bright red with embarrassment.

A teasing voice came from behind, and without turning around, one could guess it was Marcos.

"I can't believe you two are only now getting together! That's so slow, a whole year has passed!"

Marcos and Katie walked forward side by side, their eyes gleaming with gossip as they watched the two of them with great interest.

Puni gently tightened his grip, firmly holding Qiu's hand as she tried to pull it away. He cleared his throat and calmly retorted, "Since you're teasing us like this, then you and Katie must be making good progress? Have you already taken it a step further?"

But as soon as he finished speaking, both Marcos and Katie blushed and looked flustered.

Katie even raised her hand and lightly elbowed Marcos in the side to hide her inner panic.

Puni raised an eyebrow, it seemed that the two had indeed long since crossed the line of ordinary friends.

He stopped joking, took Qiu's hand, whose face was flushed with embarrassment, and strode towards the direction of the carriage to be changed, simply avoiding this teasing couple.

Eddie, who was not far away, was silently watching the group, feeling helpless.

Even Roger seems to have a companion now!
