Hogwarts: This holy light is righteously evil
Chapter 90 Puni gave the ring to Qiu Zhang?!
Not far from where Puni and Qiu Zhang were talking, Marcos, Eddie, and Roger were leaning against a stone pillar in the station, arms crossed, watching the two with a mocking expression, looking exactly like spectators at a show.
They deliberately lowered their voices, afraid of being discovered by the two people not far away, but they couldn't help but keep a close eye on their every move.
After watching for a moment, Eddie couldn't help but turn his head and nudge Marcos beside him with his elbow, whispering, "When do you think Puni will realize we're here? He's so engrossed in his conversation with Cho Chang, he probably's really forgotten about us, hasn't he?"
As he spoke, he secretly glanced up and looked at Puni not far away.
Upon hearing this, Marcos shook his head slightly: "Forgot? I don't believe it. I bet you he already knew we were here, but he was just pretending not to see us. He's probably secretly gloating, thinking we're envious of him."
They stopped talking and continued to watch quietly, their eyes fixed on Puni and Qiu Zhang, not letting a single movement escape their notice.
After waiting patiently for a few more minutes, Puni suddenly reached out and grabbed Qiu Zhang's left hand.
Immediately afterwards, a small ring appeared in his palm, and before Qiu Zhang could react, it was firmly placed on her middle finger.
This scene came so suddenly that Marcos and Eddie were stunned, and Roger's mouth dropped open, his face filled with shock.
The next second, Marcos was the first to react, and couldn't help but exclaim in a low voice, "My Merlin! He actually did that?"
Eddie snapped out of his daze: "Merlin's socks! That's so fast! We haven't seen each other for just one vacation, and he dares to give me a ring right away?"
The group exchanged glances, all seeing shock and astonishment in each other's eyes.
Roger frowned first: "Puni's progress is ridiculous! We thought he'd just chat with Cho Chang at most, but he's already unleashed his ultimate move!"
Eddie took a deep breath and shook his head: "Sure enough, shameless people can get things done. If it were us, we probably wouldn't even have the courage to offer a gift. But he went straight for a ring and didn't even give us a chance to refuse."
After making a few complaints, Marcos's eyes lit up. He leaned close to Eddie's ear and whispered, "Don't just stand there, let's hurry and catch up! Let's try to get into the train carriage before Puni does, and be a third wheel next to them. Let's see what he's up to next. We absolutely can't let him get his way!"
Upon hearing this, Eddie instinctively shrank back, a hint of fear on his face. He whispered a warning, "Marcos, don't do anything reckless! Have you forgotten Puni's methods? If you anger him, he might secretly put poison into your pumpkin juice, and then you won't even have time to cry."
Marcos puffed out his chest, striking a nonchalant pose: "What's there to be afraid of? It's just poison, right? At worst, I'll never drink pumpkin juice again. Anyway, it gets cloying after a while, so this is a good opportunity to quit!"
Even so, his eyes still flickered involuntarily.
He was actually a little afraid of Puni's little revenge, but the thought of teasing Puni made him want to try it.
Without further ado, the three of them quietly followed behind Puni and Qiu Zhang, proceeding cautiously for fear of being discovered.
But their little scheme ultimately failed.
Marcos, Eddie, and Roger, the three third wheels, ultimately failed to become the third wheel.
After the train arrived at the station, Puni and Qiu Zhang boarded the train first, found a window seat and sat down. The two sat side by side on the same side of the train. Although the atmosphere was still a little shy, it was very harmonious.
Marcos and Eddie followed closely behind, and after some effort, they finally found the carriage. They quietly walked to the carriage door, pushed it open, and intended to pretend to have accidentally barged in and become a third wheel.
But as soon as they opened the car door, before they could even take a step out, Puni inside the carriage already noticed them.
Without even looking up, he casually waved his wand and muttered a spell.
Three faint beams of magic shot out instantly, striking Marcos and the others on the forehead. The force was neither too light nor too heavy, but it was enough to make the three of them groan in pain and take a few steps back.
Before the three could react, Puni reached out and closed the carriage door.
Qiu Zhang, who had been very nervous and blushing because of the ring incident, was instantly amused by this scene. Her shyness and nervousness disappeared without her noticing.
During the holidays, her mother took her to visit many wizard relatives and friends she had never met before. Most of these relatives and friends were skilled in magic and their words and actions exuded the unique temperament of wizards. She thought that such an experience would change her views.
In reality, her core thoughts remained largely unchanged, still carrying a touch of Muggle naiveté, and her understanding of the secrets and rules of the wizarding world remained superficial.
Puni noticed Qiu Zhang's subtle expression and understood her thoughts, so he gently said, "Qiu, you must remember that in the wizarding world, nothing is impossible. Those unknown secrets are everywhere, and they may even be right next to us, but we just haven't noticed them."
He paused, his gaze sweeping across the carriage, then gently pointed to the train beneath his feet, adding with a smile, "Take this Hogwarts Express we're riding now, for example. It may seem like just an ordinary train that transports young wizards to and from school, but in reality, it holds many secrets, though few young wizards know them."
Upon hearing the word "secret," Qiu Zhang's shyness vanished instantly, and she quickly pressed, "Puni, what secrets does this train hold?"
She never imagined that the train she rode every day held some unknown secret, and her curiosity was immediately piqued.
Seeing her curious expression, Puni couldn't help but laugh, deliberately keeping her in suspense: "It's a secret, it won't be mysterious if I tell you."
"For example, those pumpkin pies you've eaten might, at some point, turn into bombs that could explode—do you believe that?"
Puni got up, gently pushed open the carriage door, and was about to continue speaking when he saw a witch pushing a snack cart slowly passing by the carriage door. The snack cart was filled with all kinds of wizard snacks, including pumpkin pie, chocolate frog, sizzling honey candy, and pumpkin juice of various flavors.
